They sell cars that have been previously badly damaged and/or wrecked, then fixed by backyard mechanics for re-sale. 13 months after purchase of a 2014 vehicle, car was driven less than half of of those months because of it being at dealer for repairs. Needed new transmission and now needs entire engine replaced due to sub-par repair work performed prior to purchase of vehicle - Buyer Beware.

Ive always had positive experiences with this guys; Their inventory is fantastic. I traveled about two and a half hours to purchase a vehicle there and the process was so easy and stress free, I couldnt believe it. The setup they have for checking out their cars and test driving is how it should be everywhere. No one ever rides with you. No one ever comes out and pressures you to buy. You will not sit for ever and do paper work forever and have someone try to up-sell you warranties and such. I did weeks of research and their prices are exactly where they need to be. I give them lots of kudos for telling people with immediate issues to just come and theyll work you into their schedule. We called 2 Hyundai dealers on other side of the state where we were vacationing and they couldnt get us in for a week. Here we had a 3 - 4 hr wait for 50,000 mile maintenance work but were just thankful they got us in before we had to make the long trip home. They were shorthanded due to a technician being out.The oil change was done but they didnt rotate the tires that is part of maintenance. It looked like they were just trying to get everyone serviced before closing. When we went to pick up the car they said there was no charge, apologized and thanked us for waiting.

Just bought a 2019 Forrester Sport from Chris Knapp.We love it. We werent even planning on buying, but after testdriving with Chris, we were convinced that it was the car for us.He was extremely informative and simply pointed out all the features the car had. He was never pushy or aggressive at all. This was our 3rd dealership of the day. The first dealership did everything they could to swindle us and the 2nd dealership just didn’t have the car we wanted. We walked into this dealership and was met by Michael Herndon. We told who we were as we had set an appointment to view a specific car. He met us at the door, the car was up front and in less than 10 minutes we were test driving the car. Once we decided this was the car we wanted it was time to talk money. I had a price in my head I was willing to pay which was a fair price based on their asking price plus taxes, tags and registration. I let Michael do his thing and the price they said was almost on the dot to the one I had in my head...DEAL! He didn’t push to finance me as I told him I already had all that set up. Needless to say my wife got the car she at the price I wanted...Michael was super friendly, easy to work with, and most importantly fair. Negates all the stress out of buying a car...I’d totally recommend the dealership and ask for Michael.

I bought a MB ML 350 in March. The car was clean and well taken care of. I got a good price for it. I noticed an exhaust tip was missing before buying it and they put a new one on for me. I have had a few issues with console and back up camera but these problems plague this model year so not dealers fault. Otherwise I love the car and would consider buying from them again.

I would not be ill if they just said we cant get an owners manual but they promised. I hold handshake deals very seriously it is the measure of your integrity no matter how small the issue. My air conditioner quit blowing air thru the vents. Had no clue what was wrong. Sent email to service manager asking if my extended warranty would cover repair. He said bring it down and let tech look see what problem is. I said I had appointment on 16 Sept. It was quickest I could get in. He said bring it in now, I said see you in a few. He introduced me to Trey, who wrote up paperwork exactly as I said for tech. My car was immediately taken back, this was 8:30 AM Friday, Sept. 6. Trey called Lyft for me and I was taken to work. Trey kept me posted on the status of my car thru texts. Trey texted me at 3:30 my car was ready and I was picked up. My 2016 Hyundai Tucson was fixed and covered under warranty. My mileage was 35,000. Downtown Nashville Motors Service Department treated me with kindness and professionalism. They restored my faith in their service, and I will most definitely be going back for all my service needs. Thanks again Trey, you rock in my book! :)

Ive been going to this dealership since I bought my 2016 Legacy, and have had an average of a 3-star experience. Many service consultants apparently dont know the very basics of how any car works, let alone the Subarus over which they preside. My most recent visit however, working with **Gregory Lind**, I can say I had my first five-star service experience. He was very knowledgeable in general, but went out of his way to research my workorder history, and correct the systemic incorrect management of my vehicle over 45,000 miles. For example, the synthetic oil I was recommended for my vehicle by another service consultant has been wrong for about 7 oil changes. I look forward to the changes this new management team will bring.

We have always taken our Subaru Outback to this location for serious repairs, but recently a service consultant by the name of Gregory Lind went above and beyond the call of duty to check our car while in the line and fix something that was trivial and simple and didn’t force us to leave our car or pay anything because he fixed it on the spot. Terrible experience and terrible car. I would never buy a car from there again or recommend anyone to go purchase. The car was not ready even after having a day to pick it up, was not washed or gas put in the vehicle. The day after we bought the car the check engine light came on and the only thing they were willing to do was check the codes. The worse part was I even paid cash and they will not honor their own return policy. Go to the Toyota dealership across the street!!!

I got the car I wanted is probably the only positive thing I can say about place. Originally over the phone I was told my vehicle was an automatic, when I drive 2 hours to nashville I come to find its actually a manual. Also when we got to MCON they said they couldnt show me the vehicle yet because for some reason it wouldnt start. An immediate red flag. They said they had some how managed to set the alarm system off when in reality there is a button you have to press on. the. key. fob. to release the security system. Instead of doing that, they had to call a mechanic which took a good two hours, and he tells them exactly whats wrong. They then tell me how its got brand new oil in it and theres no problems with it, which was also not true. I was buying it as is so I was expecting issues, but just TELL me theres issues, dont lie. Come to find out, it doesnt have brand new oil, and theres a possible gas line leakage. Wouldnt recommend.

As I type this, we are closing a deal on a very clean 2017 370Z. From the moment my husband and I visited Motorcars of Nashville (downtown Nashville) we were treated with kindness and respect. In fact, I tested the car the day before my husband did. There was none of honey this or sweetie that from the salesman Otabek or the sales manager Bahtiyor (Tim). The price for the car was very fair from the get go (we do our homework so we knew what a fair price was) so there was none of the usual haggling that many dealers make you endure. If you are looking for an outstanding used car, RUN, dont walk to this wonderful dealership. They are conveniently located off the Broadway exit in the heart of downtown Nashville.
