I’ve been a loyal customer of Beaman Toyota since 1994. Ever since Danny retired, the service department has taken a nose dive. My first red flag was when a rep quoted my husband on a repair. When I called to say I would be picking the car up, the cost of the repair had increased significantly. I called the rep out on the discrepancy and in the end, was able to pay the original cost quoted.Instead of going with my instincts, we took the car back for service one more time. At that appointment they recommended that we have a service that they just performed at the last maintenance check. Only when we had them check the computer records did they concede.I will never cross their doorstep again.

I scheduled a service appointment on a Tuesday morning. By Tuesday afternoon they called and said they were hoping to maybe look at my vehicle on Wednesday. I asked why it wouldnt go into service that day given thats when my appointment was. I was told thats just an drop off/pick up time and not really a service time. Theyll work it into service as they can. Wednesday I heard nothing. I called several times, left voicemails and asked to speak to anyone who could just give me an update. Nothing. Thursday morning I call and am told my advisor is busy but hell call me back in 15 min. 3hrs later I still havent heard anything. I start calling multiple times just trying to get anyone on the phone that can tell me something. Finally, I get someone on the phone who tells me the car hasnt even been to service yet but theyre hoping it will be soon. What a joke. Ive been without a vehicle for 3 days which has impacted my ability to work. Whats the point of scheduling a service appointment if they dont have time to even look at the vehicle for days. I asked for my vehicle back and will reschedule at Darrell Waltrip who confirmed they will look at my vehicle at the actual time of my appointment. I also asked to confirm that I will not be receiving a bill. They said they would need to talk to a manager about that. Im not exactly sure what they could even charge me for considering they havent even looked at my vehicle. We chose this service location because its closest to our house but Ill gladly drive 30 min away for service in the future.

Newman customer service is terrible. I’m not sure if it’s an incompetence thing, or simply a willful incompetence, but I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. The head of the service department has a complex which makes for a terrible customer service experience, but I guess that’s what his GED training has encouraged him to do.

Ive updated this review after receiving my car back. Ive historically had good experiences at Beaman Buick service. But my experience in July 2020 wasnt up to par. The shop cancelled a scheduled pick-up the morning of my appointment, so I had to scramble to figure out how to transport my car to the shop. Once the car was dropped off (I had to have it towed in), I was promised certain repairs would be completed within a day or two, and they werent.The most frustrating part was that I wasnt provided regular updates about the status of my car. Thats especially frustrating given that I had to re-arrange my schedule for however long my car was in their shop. When I called the shop myself, I was put on hold for anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes. Some questions that I asked one of the assistant managers (about how much my repairs will cost, or why Im being charged for parts and repairs that do not seem to work) required that they put me on hold again to find the answer. And sometimes whomever was managing at the time simply didnt know the status of my job. Communication and record keeping in the shop seemed lacking.Ultimately, I did get the car back in working order, albeit days later than expected. As I mentioned, most of my experiences at this shop have been very good. So, Im hoping this one was just an aberration and not a sign of how things are now.

Will Taylor does exactly what he says he is going to do. My husband bought a used Toyota Tundra about six months ago through Will. He offered us twice the trade in price for our other vehicle compared to another dealership. I felt so comfortable with the process that I called Will for a vehicle this week and I have always been fearful of dealerships as a female.He didn’t try to push stuff on me or up price me.I was 100% comfortable and satisfied this time with Will as well. There was a guy who was in the showroom who wanted what I had just driven and Will made sure I got the time I needed to decide.I got a super good price. I do my homework. He answers his cell even when he isn’t working. Ahhhh..... relief. Found my guy.

Scheduled oil change took 3 hours and my tire pressure AND coolant was low the next day.. also while checking that low tire noticed the sensors were flip flopped so my rear sensors were showing the pressure on the front. Called to complain and they never called back. Never going back

Sales Rep, Steve Burris, was wonderful to work with, and delivered my car to my office!! I bought my first car at Beaman Toyota in 2004 and just bought my 3rd yesterday. I wouldnt buy from anyone else. Its worth the drive to Nashville! Steve is not a pushy salesman, but truly cares about making sure you get the perfect car for you!

Dealership may have lots of good cars to offer, but the parking lot is confusing and extremely difficult to get in and out of with your personal vehicle. Be cautious test driving in Nashville; if you’re not used to driving in the city, watch out for those reckless car drivers and scooter riders.

Repeat customer. Do alot of business with them. The service department is good. Body shop not so good. Sales couldnt sell a car if they tried. They dont know how to make a deal. I bought one car from them but I wont do it again. It just doesnt seem like they want to sell a car.

The place is clean, the service decent. Their prices are very high, but if you own a hybrid you have to go there. Always feel like I’m overpaying but I don’t really have a choice for repairs on my Prius unless it’s a very simple issue.

Bought a 2014 Buick Enclave from them five years ago. It was a great experience and was looking forward to purchasing our next car with them...went to test drive a car yesterday that was advertised with a sale price and offer of 0% interest for 72 months to qualified buyers. When he presented me with a price they dropped off the substantial savings on the car if we took the zero interest rate. He stated their ad was misleading. No. It was a lie! Very unhappy with my experience!

People scheduling the appointments are apparently newer employees (so I was told). Had consecutive issues with scheduling a service which was extremely frustrating; however, this was corrected to the best of their ability. The customer service was great and they corrected their error quickly. I just wish they would work some kinks out of the scheduling system to decrease errors and wasting peoples time. Overall, the service performed was done superbly and Im very pleased.

Tim Gregory the salesman gets extra credit for answering all the questions I had in detail and gave me hours to try all the different models, colours and interiors. BEWARE:COUPONS ARE BOGUSI recieved a service coupon in the mail for an oil change. I called and made the appointment making them aware of the coupon and make and model of my car. I show up for my appointment and the service manager says he cant honor the coupon nor does he have the parts. Why? I called at 8am for an appointment at 230pm. It was a complete waist of my time. I would would be highly conscious of doing ANY BUSINESS WITH BEAMAN!

My daughter has a Jeep Rubicon and our service advisor, Scott Miller, makes you almost look forward to needing service. He is professional, courteous and incredibly knowledgable. He goes way beyond the call of duty. He had my daughters Jeep taken to Murfreesboro when it was deemed necessary and always keeps us apprised of the progress. He even made an effort recently to get it back quickly to limit the time she needed a rental car. I cant imagine a better service advisor. I trust his advice. Hes very conscientious and doesnt miss a thing but he also doesnt recommend work that isnt necessary. Hes very fair. I truly cannot say enough good things.

Car had a reoccurring problem that our local dealership couldnt figure out after 5 attempts. It broke down on our 10 hour drive to Nashville and when we got it to beaman the next morning they had the part replaced and the car up and running in 3 hours. Came here only because a friend recommend this place to us. The sales man, Tim Gregory, was extremely pushy and very in your face. He kept making the same comments on how he had a picture on the wall for best customer service and he is so great with customers. We were getting to the point we were going to leave when we finally got to prices. Every time I asked questions on recalls for the model type, Tim got very aggressive and firmly told me that there were no recalls on his vehicles.We decided to think it over dinner and came back the same night. Tim was even more aggressive and when our friend joked about the price, Tim started raising his voice and yelled for us to leave.His assistant, MG made a comment that he spent so much time on us and for us to cancel the deal (which WE werent) was wrong. Also, MG made more sarcastic remarks on how he spent so much time on just us instead of real customers.Personally, I was against Beaman Toyota for this reason. But because of Tims attitude, we went to the rivergate Toyota and purchased not one but two vehicles.So Newman, say thanks to Tim Gregory and his assistant M.G. for such awful customer service. You lost two car sales. Congrats! Great customer service!

Ive had a few interactions with Beaman - a couple years back when I looking to buy a 4Runner, the Salesperson talked with me briefly and then passed me off to a pushy clerk to take me on a ride who pushed me towards a Tacoma, and never once said a negative word about the car during the entire test drive. Gas Pedal feels gritty? Oh thats how they are these days - Rear end feels wobbly? The suspension is still new and needs some breaking in.... just cant trust someone who wont at least say an alternate viewpoint; the car cant be perfect.More recently, I needed to get the Takata airbag in my 4Runner (bought private sale) replaced for free, and when calling Beamans service department, was told that the part is on backorder nationwide, well notify you when it becomes available and when I asked what I should do in the meantime so the bag doesnt auto-deploy and send metal shards shooting into the passenger compartment, the lady replied Well I guess dont have someone sit in the passenger sat? In what world is that a proper response to something that YOUR COMPANY has admitted fault to and should be fixing ASAP? Called up Cool Springs Toyota and theyre getting me in the same week. Shocking how customer service differs...Only thing Ive had positive is ordering a few small parts from their parts department. They came within 2-3 days and were quick about notifying me - only thing that saved them from a 1-star review. Id steer clear of here and shop around some of the other dealerships that may be a bit more of a drive out.

They want you to set up a appointment...which I did, and waited 3 hours for a oil change. Ive been there without an appointment and waited 2 1/2 hours. Now they stress that its best to have a appointment. LOL!!! On top of that my oil change price doubled. WTH...labor was $15-$16 now its $30-$32. Change rear pads and turn rotors (not replace) $200. Basically the typical Mechanic shop. Dont get me wrong, they charge what they charge. I can always refuse the services. But wow! If Id known I would have change my oil myself.

Good people! My grandaughter accidentally locked a stray cat in my brand new truck! It left me a big present. I tryed to clean it, did not work out. I frequently have had some frustration with the customer service here. Once I asked for an estimate on a couple of small repairs. They went ahead and did them without telling me the estimate and getting my approval. Another time they strongly encouraged using the courtesy shuttle, but it wasnt until after I was being driven home that they informed me theyd have to pick me up and bring me back hours before my car was scheduled to be complete. This last time, I had scheduled a quick repair which would have taken less than 10 minutes. But it was three hours before my car was ready. So I guess scheduling a maintenance appointment doesnt mean much. On the plus side, they didnt charge me.

2nd time buying from Beaman Toyota. I first bought a Scion XB back in 2008 from Larry, and I have driven the car 10 years with very little problems. This time, my wife and I worked with Steve Welch, and his colleague Carl. They were very tentative to our budget and needs. Steve stuck with us on day two when we came back. He found us a good deal on a 2018 Toyota Camry and had us work out the financial information in less than 45 minutes to have us on our way. Beaman Toyota has great cars and great warranties.
