Matchless Coffee Soda is the best I have ever tried. TOTALLY OBSESSED!

For whatever reason, this address is NOT the location of Matchless coffee soda!! Someone is pulling a prank here! Now the hops yard bar or whatever it’s called is GREAT and they DO have Matchless coffee soda in can form behind the bar, but it’s not cheap! More expensive than some beers! Anyways I still pulled it all off and had a great date anyways, I got a little car play whenever I was dropping her off. So all in all I’d say it was a win I guess. I’ll take the next chick to the real place however

As a person who 1) doesnt normally go for carbonated beverages, and 2) drinks black coffee exclusively, I was skeptical when someone offered me a taste of their coffee soda. I found it to be wonderful! Its refreshing, pleasantly tingly (like I said, Im not a carbonation drinker normally), and just sweet enough to satisfy the need for a treat (but not regrettably so). Its kind of in its own category in my mind — not just as a caffeine dose I require to function cognitively, but a drink I am in the moment with while sipping because its so darn tasty. Now I order one every time Im at a cafe that has it on tap. (Sadly, my neighborhood coffee shop doesnt have it yet.)

I stand on my porch and listen to the cicadas. Its 89 degrees outside and the afternoon sun is ripening the freshly rained lawn and asphalt. The paper peels from my wooden doorframe behind me, introducing the summer warmth to the inefficiencies of the air conditioning unit inside. Too late for a fresh pot I reckon and too hot out as well. Six more hours of work on my brow and I sure as hell dont want a cola.I watch my neighbor take his grass clippings to the box at the curb and I pity the soul that isnt fueled how I am. I trust no imitations.

I am absolutely obsessed with this beverage to the point where I may need an intervention. Love it!
