Best liquor store in Nashville hands down! A huge selection of every type of liquor, beer and seltzer. There is a taste testing bar in there. The prices are even better then in the mid-west and we know our booze prices. Oh yeah and they have tobacco as well.

The staff here is always so helpful and friendly. They have a large selection of items and some hard to find things. Occasionally, they will offer tastings in store of new products. That is always a nice surprise!

Frugal MacDoogal is the place to get your liquor friends. Ive never seen a liquor warehouse so extensive before but this is Tennessee after all ;) I was looking for a specific type of whiskey after seeing a local distillery in the area and low and behold, they surely had it. When Ive asked for advice on liquor selection, theyve always been very friendly and helpful and most of all, knowledgeable. Also, their section of interesting snacks are on point! And price is right too!

Always a good experience every time I visit! No disappointments here! Accept maybe the little people that beg donations before walk in.

I went 2-4-21 they were having a tasting for Black History month. It was great. I also purchased some other items that werent part of the tasting.

With 2,000 reviews do I even need to post one? Absolutely best prices on alcohol. Wish we had something like this where I live. So awesome, huge selection and they’re got mixers. Don’t waste your money at the bars where they charge 300x for a bottle. Come get your bottle here, pre game and go out!

This is the largest liquor store I’ve ever been in; we also taste tested a vodka at a booth- not sure if this was a special vendor event but was definitely memorable.

Review following our wedding which took place in May 2021. The initial service was friendly and very helpful. They were able to provide a couple of good recommendations for beer that our guests enjoyed. Would have been a better score if not for the red wine we purchased and the response I received when I questioned the product. Every bottle of the Educated Guess Red Wine Blend was bitter, and upon opening the corks were crystallized where they came in contact with the wine. Additionally, when opening the bottles these crystals would break off into the wine so that the wine was gritty. Following the wedding, I emailed the company asking if there was anything they could do to amend this issue, as we had paid a lot for a poor quality item. To my email I received this response, “These are tartaric acid crystals or wine diamonds some call them. They are caused when calcium and tartaric acid in the wine bind together. This is a natural happening process and isnt a bad thing at all. It doesnt affect the wine negatively or mean the wine has gone bad in any way. They can actually signify that the wine is top quality showing that it hasnt been over manipulated in the winery! It is a very interesting thing and but not a bad one at all!” Well, whatever they are, I did not like them, nor did anyone else who tried this wine. The Cabernet we also ordered was fine. Basically I feel like I got gaslighted in this response which is not great customer service. I don’t want grit in my wine. I don’t want bitter wine. I want my complaint to be acknowledged as valid. So, that’s it. Just know that if there is a problem, they won’t do anything to fix it.

Very great experience! This was my first time here. The employees were very friendly and helpful and they were scattered throughout the store so you didnt have to walk far to find someone to help you out. I had to ask one of the guys if you sold honey Mead. He couldnt find anything like that but he showed me two options that were very close so we purchased those. They were very good so we were very happy with his suggestion. The store was clean and organized as if it was a a brand new store on opening day. The owner should be very proud of their staff

Very popular place and to me not that great of a selection. Plus only ONE handicap parking spot which is not acceptable. To me not worth coming back.

Excellent variety of booze for every occasion. This is our go-to spot to replenish the bar in our house. Prices are fair and the staff are very helpful. Only one place I know of has a larger stock of wines, but no one has more liquor varieties.

Needed a particular proof and type of distilled spirits,they were very helpful,and inexpensive,too.What a great deal; expertise and a bargain.

I used Frugal MacDoogal for our May 2021 wedding. The entire process was quick and easy (added bonus: they offer delivery, too!) I told them all the basic details of the event and they quickly put together a proposal. Also, I completely forgot to tell them about the ingredients for my signature drink, so they graciously made a second delivery to my reception venue with plenty of time to spare!

They always have cool releases. I was able to get a limited bottle of Uncle Nearest recently from them which I was happy to add to my Whiskey selection. They also seem to be bringing in a lot of cooler wines, which is more incentive for me to go there tbh. Yes they are a big warehouse, but they definitely still have cool stuff under that roof.

First time ever in here as an out of towner. They have an excellent selection of all libations and I happened to meet Joe the floor manager who asked if I needed help. We ended up chatting about Bourbon for a good half hour. Check these guys out, very friendly and good prices. Solid.

Very good selection of alcohol. Staff and owner were super nice. The only reason that I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is cuz they never answered their phones multiple times even though they had extra staff staff hanging around up front chatting amongst themselves.

Take the extra time to drive outside Davidson County!!!! We were refused service in the store for not wearing a mask. We let them know our specific medical issues. (Which is against HIPPA guidelines) You shouldnt have to explain your medical history. Were confronted 4 times about not wearing a mask. They were aware that we had medical issues, but that we were on private property by General Manager and they would loose their license.I explained had not been in the store and didnt know what they had. We still made some purchases, but Im looking for some where to shop.

This store is hands down my favorite liquor store in Nashville. They usually always have the best prices, sales and selections.

Whiskey and beer review: a solid selection including most mid and upper middle end needs. A few big buck items in the case, but no library prices or rare finds today.The beer selection was fantastic and the bartender was good for conversation. No mix and match singles.

Decent prices, maybe not frugal as they say. Staff was friendly and helpful. There are places with better beer and wine collections. They do have lots of local brews, which is nice to support local. But a big positive, they have a great bourbon and liquor selection.

Great selection with good prices. I would give it five stars but staff is inconsistent in their answers. Some of their staff said they gave discounts on cases. Others said no discounts at all on cases.

Pretty decent selection for Nashville area liquor stores, will definitely return. Watch out for the bachelorette groups and party busses, though.Edit: wanted to add that this is one of the few stores in Nashville that sells Brazilian cachaça! (Sort of like rum, but not the same.) A must have to make Brazils national cocktail, the caipirinha!

Free parking, handicapped parking, handicapped restrooms. Every one is dang friendly..the prices are GREAT if you can think of an alcohol you want they have it I drove from Ohio to see this place

They always have whats relevant to my palate for beer. From the origins of Germany to the American craft brews, they almost always have it. And if they dont, just ask and some kind person will help you. Thats all true!

Great pricing and excellent staff

Couldnt believe the prices and selections here. Visiting from out of state and had to stop since i heard the prices were better here, and wow. They had gift sets and all sorts of cool things there. Parking was kind of a mess, but it was worth it. Workers in there were really helpful too. And shopping carts! Hahaha that was a first for me to see at a liquor store, but i used one!

Excellent whiskey selection. Prices are reasonable. Found a few things not available in east TN and bought a barrel pick. Did not venture into other areas of the store, but its rather large and I imagine their selection is good for most liquors. Was definitely pleased with my experience there.
