We had a lot of problems with our car and hesitated for months to get them fixed because of what it would cost. It got to the point that we couldnt wait any longer and decided to take our car to Essys. He was so professional and kind. He qouted us very reasonably and fair. Got our car back and were in shock at how smooth and amazing our car feels! Our car is a 2008 but it feels like Im driving a brand new car. We also had our oil change light on and knew once we got our car back we would also need to pay for that service, but to our surprise he changed our oil FREE of charge and did an alignment. Talk about customer service. He definitely has our business for any future mechanical need.

Visiting Nashville for the weekend from Atlanta and our car had some weird noises happening on the journey up here. Decided to get it looked at. Essys was slammed but he decided to fit us in to help us out since we were from out of town. He took a look at our car and test drove it at no charge. Mr. Essy and his crew are some of the most honest people you will come across. I have a 2008 Mercedes Benz S550. I have been to the Cool Springs dealership and I have been to places like Euro Fix. Euro Fix is better than dealership but no one will come close to honesty and price this crew offers. Their shop and their area may not be as impressive as Cool Springs or Franklin but they do better and absolutely more honest work than anyone out there. Feel free to judge for yourself. I have after having work done at all three places.

Mr. Essy is so helpful! He is kind, quicker, and less expensive than others nearby. He recently completed a repair in 2 days and for hundreds of dollars less than a prior estimate from a different repair service.

I have been a patron of Essy Auto Service for years and I will continue to be a faithful, loyal customer. Mr. Essy is an honest, great mechanic! Yesterday my car started smoking and the smell was pretty bad. I took it to him late in the day, he instantly knew what was wrong and had my car ready in about 40 minutes. Thats not the best part though, not only was the price VERY reasonable but when I thanked him (almost in tears because I thought my car was ruined), he was humble and kind! I appreciate him & his employees deeply.

Ive had my motor replaced by Essy, and hes a miracle worker. Did the full motor in a single day. That was almost 2 years ago, and havent had any problems at all. Hes done some odds and ends minor things as well, and he is the only mechanic that Ive ever come across that will not rip you off. With his prices, I honestly dont see how he makes any profits. He wont try to upsale you either, and will never tell you something needs to be fixed, if it really doesnt. Ill never use another shop as long as hes in business!

AMAZING! My poor car broke down this morning & R1 towing (who was also excellent) took my car to Essy for me. Essy called within the hour to tell me what he needed to do & the price (VERY REASONABLE). I gave him the ok & he got to work. Another hour later he called to tell me it was ready. I asked if he had time for an oil change & he did it! I got to pick up my car & the price was actually cheaper than what he said on the phone! He turned my bad morning into a great day! I really regret that I never caught his name. I don’t believe it was Essy but his colleague instead. Via phone, both were very nice and polite. He told us to just tx him the address and he’d come to us to fix the problem. We were dealing with an ignition switch issue. He showed up and fixed it in about 4 minutes. Charged us only 100 bucks (and we got an additional car key) for a simpler fix when another auto company was prepared to charge us 300. He also said that if the simpler repair didn’t fix the issue that he’d replace the ignition switch and only charge us for the part. They seem to care and they seem refreshingly honest. Would definitely recommend and will use again when needed. Thank you again!

Don’t not recommend. He has had my car since Monday picked it up Thursday and 2 hours later it wouldn’t start again. Had to get it towed back to the shop again. Which he did try and help me pay for not discount my next visit. I had to call him about my car. He told me I needed another part which I had to pay for. Brought it back and when I picked it up again the same exact thing happen, and he keeps saying it’s nothing he did. Oh yea he also isn’t helping get it towed back to Nashville after it cut off again. While visiting our daughter in Nashville, the AC in my wifes Nissan Murano went out around noon on a HOT Saturday. I called Essy Auto and asked if they could look at the car. The owner told me to bring it in and he immediately checked to find the problem. It would take about 4 hours to replace the compressor so I inquired if a rental car company was somewhere near. First just saying God Bless Essy (owner). South side towing brought me here & within 10 minutes Essy said he could fix it !! I needed a new fuel pump. THE BEST. I will never go anywhere else. Essy took care of my car two times that it broke down and always gave me a fair price and was honest with me about what was needed and what could wait. Me, not knowing a whole lot about cars, brought it in again because I was nervous something else was wrong. He explained to me that my problem was normal for an old car with a lot of miles like mine. He ran it through diagnostics anyway and did a few test drives and didn’t charge me a dollar for any of the tests. Most of all time was a big issue for us.. we left him our car over the weekend in order for him to order our part and first thing this Monday morning we woke up to a text saying our cr was finished. Traveling from ny to tx had issues with my car. Autozone recommended Essy and Im glad they did. I was treated with respect, they helped me by taking care of me quickly and amazingly and they gave me a great price, Close to half what pepboys wanted.

Said nothing was wrong with our car, but it turns out we had to replace quite a few parts when our check engine light came on later. Changed our spark plugs and when brought to a different mechanic he said they were the wrong plugs. Cant believe we got ripped off by them. This place is fine for oil changes and they are friendly which is why I didnt leave a 1 star rating. Do NOT go here for bigger car problems or if you dont know whats wrong with your car. Not very knowledgeable over there.

Very honest and they stand by their work. Theyve worked on 3 of my cars (alternators, brakes, rotors, axles, wheel bearings, timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, etc). I will come here as long as Im in Nashville.

Weve used Essys Auto for a couple of years and he was quite good initially, however, it seems that he doesnt care about what he does any longer. Over charged ($2,000), didnt complete the work, had to go back over and over and over and over. We finally went to someone else who charged antother 2 grand and the issue is fixed. Not happy any longer, not going back. Good luck - youre going to need it.

Called in the morning, told me to bring it in an hour later. My truck was shaking at lot. He fixed/ replaced a broken hose and said no charge. My truck no longer shakes! At no charge! I cant be thankful enough! Also very nice employees.
