My husband and I stopped here during our cross-country move from VA to NV: one of our cars showed an engine light on the dashboard. Our car wouldn’t turn on, but after a while it did turn on. Meanwhile waiting for the car to turn on, I called Mike at Donelson and asked if we could tow our car to his shop and he readily said yes. He was honest and gave me a time frame. Overall, their service was honest, friendly, and great. Thank you, Mike and team!

I own a truck that’s always giving me trouble, and I’ve always brought in here for 3 reasons. 1) Trust. The people and the owner are always fair, honest, and upfront about not only what is wrong with the vehicle but what the repair cost will be before anything is done. 2) Fantastic Customer Service. I’ve brought my truck in, and when they could not diagnose the problem yet they gave me a call and did not charge, even after hours of labor trying to find the source of the issue (I brought it in a couple weeks later and they found the problem). 3) Price. The pricing is always reasonable and there are never any hidden charges. Thank you Mr. Hoffman!

Old School Mechanic that gets it right the first time - Not for the faint at heart or easily offended. However, If you are looking for a mechanic to work on your car, does what he says he will do, backs up his hand shake - this is the guy you are looking for.

This is the place to go!! The guy who helped me was very knowledgeable and polite. They did not take advantage of me as a female with car troubles, but rather explained how everything worked and what needed to be fixed. The owner Mike knew I was willing to fix anything that was wrong, and yet he still didn’t fix anything that wasn’t broken to get a few extra bucks out of me. She shop isn’t filthy with magazine pictures on the walls and tool boxes like most are. Donelson Auto Clinic is professional both in their customer service and in their work. This is by far the best shop I have found in the Nashville area and I will definitely be back!

I have had many bad experiences at auto shops over the years, but the guys at Donelson Auto Clinic were one of my best experiences. They kept me updated throughout the entire process, they did a good job of explaining things to me so I could understand, and they did a great job fixing my car. I plan to continue to go to them for all my car problems, and would recommend you do the same.

Fair. Honest. The epitome of southern hospitality. This is how Id describe the gentlemen at Donelson Auto Clinic. My car broke down while I was vacationing in Nashville. The guys at Donelson were able to answer all my questions over the phone and get my car looked at within an hour. Even though they could not fix the problem with my car, they connected me with a local dealership who could fix the computer problem in my car. Great people and quality service are hard to come by and I was thoroughly impressed by this company.

I was wary when I started looking for a shop because Ive been taken advantage of by enough mechanics in the past. Im so glad I found Donelson Auto Clinic, or rediscovered it I should say from about 15 years ago when I had some work done there. They had been highly recommended for doing good honest work. I found that to be true then so I was happy to learn they were still open after all these years.I need a dependable vehicle so Id rather pay a fair price that allows them to do quality work with quality parts than go to someone who doesnt care if I have problems down the road.I asked them to give my truck a good checkup and they knew I was willing to put some money into it. They could have taken advantage of that but instead told me how good everything looked. Mike, the owner, said he would have loved finding something that needed to be fixed but since he didnt, he wasnt going to spend my money on things that didnt need to be done. I can’t say enough about their ethics and I highly recommend them.

Believe what has been written about this place. THESE GUYS ARE RUDE! They should not be in business. I took my 2017 SUV to be inspected before buying it. I explained exactly what I wanted them to look at. They told be there was nothing wrong. Boy, were they wrong. I dont believe they ever looked at it and they tried to charge my $145.00. They guy at the front desk told me they would call if it was over $100. LAIRS

If there were zero stars I would have used that. I dont trust mechanics and after reluctantly using this shop Im reminded that they are not to be trusted. Total crooks. They may have fixed the issue, I dont know because I only got about ten miles when I over heated and saw that the radiator hose had been disconnected and not reconnected at all. When I called to complain I was told that they didnt do it (So I guess I did, less then 24 hours after leaving the shop because I just had nothing better to do besides sit on the side of the road with my son, waiting for the tow truck). He asked when I would bring it in, to which I assured him that my car would not be anywhere near his shop again. His only response was exactly what I expected So what was the point of your call?DONT DO IT!!!! If you cant repair it yourself, take it to a dealer. It might cost more up front but places like this will get you in the end. This is one of those shops that must get creative to get repeat customers....like sabotaging someones car through either greed or incompetence. Whichever it is I dont care, glad I learned this lesson.

Charged us 125$ instead of 30-60$ (as he said). Fixed the issue with windshield washer nozzles but I got leakage from washer hoses that I didnt have before and the man said that he doesnt have time to fix it now and that I got what I wanted. I just wonder for what they checked my car for several hours previous day then...I dont know who the owner of this place and if he checked reviews but he should pay attention what people say because if you get such service you dont have a wish to go there again

They were very nice at the beginning, but super rude at the end.I took my car there because my engine light came on.The light turned back on three times, which I had to take back to the their shop three times after they attempted to fix it; at the end it was an issue they couldn’t fix.When I went to pick up my car and pay for what I owed, the guy there was so rude.I asked if that what the last thing they did on the invoice, and he was like, “This is what we have done up to this point which is way more than what you owe us. I have somewhere to be, so I’d like to make this really quick. You can pick up you key”.He didn’t even give me my key from the wall, I had to go get my own key.I am not sure what his problem was, but If they wanted to charge me more they could have told me upfront what they really wanted to charge then I could have looked somewhere else.Oh, and my car is still not fixed.I will not go back.

A knowledge mechanic who doesnt rip off women. Treated me with respect and fixed a part without having to completely replace it saving me hundreds of dollars! This is my go-to mechanic from now on!

Absolutely the best auto shop in Nashville! Grest price, no-haggle service and RESPECT! As a woman I have had things explained to me in a dumming down way by a mechanic before at other service centers. The mechanic explained the problem and what it would take to fix it, simple as that. Very straight forward, honest and had me back on the road in no time. Thank you Donelson Auto Clinic! I would highly recommend them to all my family and friends.

I called ahead and got a quote for an oil change. It was supposed to be $50-$60 dollars. Once the service was completed he said it was $97! Place is dirty and extremely expensive. Not going again.

Called and asked for price, the man said, didnt I just tell you yesterday, with attitude! Price he quoted was extremely high! Just from the way he talked to me, I will never use this place!
