I recently bought a 2016 Mini Cooper S from Dixie Motors in Nashville. Although I live 300 miles away, I never hesitated to pursue and complete this purchase because, from my first inquiry, I was treated like I was Dixies most important customer. The car I bought was on the low end of Dixies inventory list-- Dixie sells some gorgeous high-end cars-- but I was treated like I was buying a Bentley instead of a Mini. Definitely had to take the time to write this review. I had been searching for a Porsche for a while now and knew I would buy it the instant I found one! Pat Stidham had my dream car at this lot, so of course I contacted him directly. Within two days, I was driving home with the Porsche, exactly as it was advertised. A week later and no issues. Pat was very responsive throughout the entire process and never got annoyed when I constantly asked for paperwork that was needed to make things smooth on my end. I flew in the day of to pick up the car and Pat even picked me up from the airport! Within the next hour, all the paperwork was signed and I was headed home. I can’t thank Pat enough for his kindness, honesty, and professionalism. I’m typically skeptical when it comes to buying from small dealerships but I felt nothing but comfort here, especially since I bought the car without seeing it in person first! This is the first time Ive ever bought a car sight unseen, except through pictures. I was a bit apprehensive, but Ron at Dixie made it a fantastic experience. He stayed with me the entire through the journey. He and Dixie were paid, yet Ron stayed in contact with the shipping company, after the truck broke down and made sure they got the car to me as quickly as possible. Even now a week later, hes still responsive and helpful in ensuring I get the full value from the experience.

I saw an ad for a Ford Mustang listed as a classified ad by this company on the internet. I called about the Mustang and spoke with Pat Stidham about purchasing the car. I live in Texas and he made the car sound soooo clean that I decided to take my daughter with me and drive 11 hours to buy it for my soon to be 16 year old son.Pat and I spoke several times on the phone and I asked him the questions I needed answered before committing to such a long drive. He lied about several things. Upon arriving at Dixie Motors I did an inspection of the car. The windshield was cracked. During our previous conversations he told me there was nothing wrong with the car. He never mentioned the broken windshield. His excuse was that people drive by the lot and shoot the cars. He offered to drop $100 off the price for the windshield. I also noticed a large crack in the rear of the car that was never mentioned during our conversations. When asked about it he shrugged and said its a used car man. The next thing I saw is that he had installed a set of cheap chrome hubcaps over the wheels of the car to make it look like chrome rims. They looked great in the pictures. This really ticked me off because I specifically asked him before making the drive if they were real chrome wheels or caps. He told me unequivocally that they were chrome wheels not hubcap covers. I told him that would have been a deal killer for me and he could have saved me the drive (1500 miles roundtrip) and his response was, maybe you can find some on Facebook or something. He then said I aint buying you no #$%&^ rims!We left and made the drive back to Texas without the car. He made no attempt to make any of this right other than a $100 credit for the windshield. Keep in mind a new windshield costs much more than $100. The price he and I agreed on was at the top of the NADA retail range but I was okay with it because my son is a great kid and Pat made the car look fantastic in pictures and he made it sound great during our conversations. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with buying a car. This guy has absolutely no morals in my opinion based on the way he treated me during this deal. Hes probably laughing about it now. We just arrived back home after driving nearly 24 hours in 2 days. I think Ill just stay in Texas and shop. Pat has burned me out on going very far to buy a car. If only he had been honest it would have saved me the drive and hundreds in gas. I hope and pray the same thing doesnt happen to you. Good luck.

I bought a car about 1 year ago from Dixie Motors and their level of customer service prompted me to write this review. I live in Memphis so I was able to complete about 80% of the process online (with exception of paperwork that must be signed in person). My original salesman was Jeff but he was out of town and put me into the hands of Ronnie L. Ronnie made the entire process quick, TIMELY and simple. He arranged a complimentary ride from the airport, had the car at the front door waiting on me as as promised! I would definitely recommend Dixie Motors and would buy another vehicle from them.

?? Confused. Great lineup of cars. Went to see an Audi A7 they solidly advertised on line. It was one of a few European gems in their showroom. Spent about fifteen minutes fawning over it, climbing in and out, opening doors and the trunk. One man sitting at the desk by the front door Id come in watched me...no greeting or nod, got on the phone, kicked back and got engaged somehow. Watched me most of the time. One other guy saw me, said nothing. I was coy and expecting their first move to start the dance on a possible deal. It didnt happen. I walked out without having spoken to a soul even though I was the only one there. Odd lack of engagement indeed. Nice car though and I was there to move forward. The people make the difference. Perhaps an outlier experience but for me, I showcased in business casual, drove up and parked my BMW 4 series in the front and projected seriousness as I inspected the Audi. This targeted presentation has garnered me attention at other car lots and Ive often closed on a great deal. A7 wasnt meant to be I guess.

I recently made a trip from to Louisville to Nashville to Dixie Motors to purchase my first BMW and had such a wonderful experience that I just had to share. Best decision ever! I arrived with my two teenagers and my family was so welcomed by the warm personalities of their staff. John, the salesperson that I had a pleasure to work with was awesome! He made my car buying experience so stress free. Being a female and my past experiences, I was naturally used to being taking advantage of. Not the case with this stand up dealership at all.When I got back to Louisville, I took the BMW to get a diagnostic test. The mechanic said that who ever had the car (only 2 owners) must have taken good care of it and I was very lucky to have it because it was in great shape. Not only did the car have no issues whatsoever to be found, the mechanic said that he could tell any parts that were ever replaced were only dealership parts. All said and done, I ended up with a DREAM of a vehicle that was priced more than fair. What a beauty this car is! Pat at Dixie Motors was amazing to deal with. He picked me up from the train station (traveled from Michigan) and even took me to breakfast! Pat allowed me to take a longer test drive, about an hour, just to make sure that it really was the car for me before driving 9 hours back home. The car is in excellent shape and couldnt believe it had 75k miles on it! The guys at Dixie Motors are definitely great people to deal with and would travel down there again for another car in the future.

Rick Tannehill was such a nice guy, and was very reasonable when it came down to negotiating a price that worked well for all involved. What separates them from other used car dealerships that I have dealt with is their level of professionalism, and the impeccable fleet of cars they had on their lot, and in the showroom. They have something for everyone. Whether its a luxury sports car, or a nice, affordable compact - they have it. In the not too distant future, I will be buying another one to replace my current work vehicle. I will happily drive the two hours from Kentucky to Nashville to make that purchase. No one around here comes close to being able to compete with them.

The sales staff member I had the displeasure of working with was one of the least knowledgeable people Ive spoken to about anything with a motor. They out right lie about their cars. Satisfaction with the car would be a 3-4 just because of what it is, but there are other places to get what youre looking for and I recommend you check all of those first. Truly the first experience where purchasing a car felt like work. Expect to toss an extra couple grand at whatever is on their lot after you drive away with it.

Let my start by saying that working with both Pat Stidham and John Moss made the entire car buying process an easy one -- even though, I live out of state. I was a little shaky buying out of state and asked them to take it to a mechanic before I flew down of my choice. It passed with stars and the mechanic also mentioned they have taken care of all fluids, new rims, tires, and the underbody was spotless. Rick was also very responsive when I needed some additional, unique needs, and his team knocked it out of the park. I have had two mechanics offer to buy it from me. THANKS A MILLION!!!

Went to check out a car and when we started asking questions about the reason why the paint had multiple tones, Ben West got offended and assumed we weren’t interested in the car. He had taken our drivers license and pulled the car out for us to test drive. He seemed offended because we were asking questions. Are you not supposed to ask questions? He got in the car with an attitude and parked it. We are in the market for a car. Maybe there were legitimate answers that could have been discovered through CONVERSATION. Maybe there was another car that would have been of interest to us. Who knows, with this type of customer service. Disappointed at the rude and unprofessional response.

After dealing with numerous car dealers in the past, Dixie Motors (specifically, Danny Cotten) I can say that I was extremely pleased and impressed. Dannys level of professionalism and understand standing of the value of ones time was second to none. Bad quality service. Hidden damages on multiple vehicles that are not mentioned. Took me 20 minutes of slamming doors in the show room before I got got service. Ive heard the owner treats his employees poorly and had even stolen from his techs. I wouldnt buy a push mower from this place.
