Big Thanks to the team at Nashville Auto. We were passing through Nashville for two nights from doing the KY Bourbon tour to the Jeep Invasion in the Smokies. The Jeep was not acting correctly on our way to Nashville and had a drag so we woke up the next morning and started to look for a repair shop. I work in the digital space and knew to start looking at reviews, but would places with good/great reviews be able to get us in, and back on the road. Nashville auto did!George told us to bring it down and he would look at. This Jeep is my husband’s baby so he was very Moody to say the least, and when we pulled in was not the pretty little shop (It was a work on, get the job done no frills kind of place). My husband chatted to George for a bit and then we left it there. A few hours later George called with a valuation and price to fix. The price I would say was not bad for the situation and turnaround time. My husband does all the work normally, so not sure of going rate, but again would say it was a Fair price (Parts Labor, Fitting us in, Rush Job and let me know forget the heat. I think it was 100 that day..ugh). The moody husband of mime was good once he talked to George and picked the Jeep up. (8/24/2021 service date)Thank you Nashville auto team!

George is the best! I’ve always been pleased with the service here. So speedy. So friendly. Yesterday I had brake issues and needed my car for work, George stayed after 5 getting it done the same day and fitting me in, and I appreciate that very much in the auto repair world. I’ve never left a google review before and I thought he much needed the praise for his great service and attitude.

Edit: after coming to the shop it was explained to me much better. They were trying to get me a new alternator which would last longer Instead of a refurbished one that may break down in a few weeks. I felt a little cheated, but once I spoke with George he took the time to show me and explain that it was a fair price.

I was in a real jam. These guys went out of their way to help me. They did great work and were easy to deal with. Highly recommended.

***EDIT***They fit me into the schedule while I was visiting Nashville with the family and one of my AC hoses blew. George stayed a little bit late on Saturday waiting for me to pick up my car. Unfortunately that meat that I didnt get a chance to address a problem that happened with the vehicle while it was being repaired. I drove it home and then fixed it myself. Naturally I was pretty upset and left a pretty harsh review. That being said, George immediately reached out to me to make it right. It says a lot about his character. If it hadnt been the end of the day Saturday when I picked it up, I am confident that he would have seen it and dealt with it then and there. Honestly, George was waiting for me to pick up my vehicle so he could close for the day. But he also did not make me feel rushed at all. I could not speak more highly of George. He really went out of his way to take care of me, and followed through when there was an issue. Quite a stand up guy.

These guys are awesome - went to several nearby places for tire patching and replacement and they said it would be hours or days. I was heading out of town for July 4th when a tire blew out and these guys saw me immediately, sent someone to grab a tired minutes after I got there and even patched up my wifes tire immediately. From the moment I got there till when I left may have been an hour, hugely appreciate these guys and they are awesome in every sense!

I don’t normally do this review kinda thing but I felt with these guys they made my Prius feel like a bmw gettn it back from them. This place does awesome work and I think you’ll b happy

Could not recommend them enough. I had the plastic underbody guard fall down on my Honda Fit. When I arrived, they quickly took the car out of the garage they were currently working on to fix the issue while I waited. On top of that, the gentlemen did not even charge me for his service, being such a small repair. It’s terribly hard to find that level of service in any industry. HIGHLY impressed!

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel I need to warn other young females looking for an honest auto shop. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. As a young female, I hate going into auto shops. They changed my oil pretty quickly and were polite.Unfortunately, I am only giving them 2 stars because they tried to tell me my battery was leaking acid and they needed to change it immediately. I was skeptical so I denied the service and took my car to an Oreilly to get it checked out. The man there told me these guys were trying to sell me a battery because there was nothing wrong with it. I am really disappointed and will be finding another auto shop for my future maintenance needs.

On our way to Texas, I was in a fender bender just a block away. We pulled into the parking lot to do the regular accident thing but had to do something about the bumper that had come off so we could get on the road. I walked over to the garage to see if they had a quick fix. George came out with some zip ties and screws. I offered to pay him, but he did it free of charge. We’re halfway to Texas and the bumper is still in place. Thanks George for help in a bad situation!

George helped fix my husbands truck when our alternator quit. He was able to get the part replaced and the battery charged up right when they opened. He had the truck ready within a few hours so we could get back to Western NY. If we would have taken it to another shop we wouldnt have gotten an appointment until 1pm.

I am a single 24 year old woman (showed up alone) and feel this business completely tried to take advantage of me. I would definitely not go back. My tire light went on and I had tried filling them with air at a gas station, but the light did not go off. I drove down here to Nashville Auto Repair on 8th and asked if they could fill it / let me know if there might be a slow leak. He got out the pump and put the nozzle in each tire for about 0.5 seconds each in order to gauge the pressure. Once he identified it was the back right tire, he insisted there was a nail in it (without looking) and that itd be $50 to fix. I asked why he didnt try to fill it up first, and he said theres a nail, I asked how he knew that and he couldnt point to anything and insisted on moving forward with the full $50 service. He also tried to tell me my breaks were completely shot and needed a full repair (not true whatsoever). Im glad I had the common sense to tell him no and try another service shop down the road, who filled the tire for free and the light has been off since (several weeks).

I just moved here from Boston and had to rely on Google reviews to find a good mechanic for a fair price. I have to say that I wasn’t let down. I cracked a few coolant hose connectors at their base, I needed a new intake manifold gasket, and I also had a misfire as well. They had my car ready in a couple days and it runs like new for an unbeatable price. I would highly recommend.

As a young woman living alone who prides herself on her independence, I did a lot of research on car shops that wont take advantage of someone, especially a female, regarding the things they dont know. My car’s alternator went bad and I use my car for work so I really needed someone who could fix my problem professionally and in a timely manner and the men at Nashville Auto Repair on 8th Ave. were just great! They called me the same day to let me know what the problem was once I dropped off my car and then got it back to me in perfect condition in less than 3 days. Their service was friendly, prompt and very cost friendly. Would absolutely use their service again!

George and his crew are my favorite!My husband and I go to them for everything. Their work is guaranteed, honest, and affordable.We’ve even gone to George after a Nashville dealership told us we needed 2600 worth of work done to a car. (We had a recall and had to take it in) but we thought- NO WAY, George just did a tune up... but what do we know??? And, of course, George said the car was fine.It’s hard to find someone who is kind and has a great work ethic these days (not just mechanics). But I’m sure glad we found Nashville Auto Repair.

Very disappointed. I gave this shop a try after reading the google reviews (yes the old gas station next to walgreens). I paid $120 ($110 + tax) for an inspection with little information. That’s $5 less than what the dealership would’ve charged and they would’ve given me a 50 point inspection print out.I thought I had a ps hose leak and George gave me a quote if that was indeed the case. The quote did not include the inspection fee. He called to tell me it was an oil leak instead along with other repairs I already knew I needed (like the rear struts b/c it’s an old car).However, he couldn’t tell me where the oil was coming from. He claimed he would need to spray the engine off to find it, his exact words were “it would take a couple of days and cost you a lot of money.” Seriously, why not just use uv leak detection? I chalked his comment up to mechanic preference, but he lost me when he claimed my spark plugs were also bad. I changed them myself not even 2 yrs or 20K miles ago and they’re platinum plugs, also my car doesn’t misfire or idle poorly so this was clearly a lie. And no, the oil isn’t leaking into the plug holes.I took it to another mechanic and found out—for free—where the oil was leaking from. Nash Auto gets 1 star because they got me in the same day I called and 1 star b/c one of the young mechanics conversed with me before I talked to George, and he seemed knowledgeable and was friendly. Not a good enough first impression for me to come back willingly.

I had took my car to pass the smog test and the people couldnt read my car! so I had called around and Nashville auto repair was able to fit me in same day. I was in and out in about a hour and a half (enough time for my breakfast) they are truly kind people and awesome to work with

Very thorough service, and affordable price!

It was cold and rainy and I had a flat tire. I had already put a can of fix a flat in the tire and tried to air it up but nothing! I looked up the nearest tire shop and it was 10 minutes away. The air in the tire was slowly draining and I couldn’t go any further. Thankfully, we’re pulling up to a light and look to the left and see two gentlemen about to head home from this shop. So my dad pulls over just to see if there’s a chance we could get some help and without any hesitation, this man said “pull up right there, we’ll take care of you” that meant the WORLD to me!!!Any man that will help those who can’t help themselves is a man you want to do business with because he’ll treat you right!!!!Thank you so much for helping us!!!!

Beware of this place and price gouging. They replaced my sons water pump and thermostat on a 2015 Ford Mustang ($132.00 parts easily googled) and charged him over $700.00. When they called to tell him his car was ready they told him his new total was over $1,100.00 because his battery was bad.If I could give them negative stars I would.You dont have me in your system because it is my sons car and no I wont be calling you. You know full well you gouged him.What is distasteful is how you justify price gouging by stating you source parts locally. What from Autozone, Oreilleys, etc?? Thats exactly where I got the pricing from. Guarantee you didnt purchase them from Ford which would have been the more expensive part.Additionally, I shouldnt have to call you to work something out. You should be fair in your pricing.

Professional and honest service. I called on a Saturday about my drivers side door not opening and closing properly. They couldve easily told me to make an appointment or wait until it could be looked at after they helped others. Yet they advised to bring it right in. Listen! If youre new to town and/or having trouble finding someone who you trust with your car, go here! They have EXTREMELY reasonable prices and do great, honest work! Not gonna lie, the place looks sketch-- its an old gas station that has never been fixed up. But they do great work. Theyve worked on my car 3 different times and Ive been extremely satisfied. They quoted me $750 for a rear main seal. I called Firestone and they recommended a place in Brentwood. I called them and they quoted me $1500! Other places all quoted $1200-2000. So it was a no-brainer. Honest mechanics that do great work. Trust me. Go here.

Do not go here! I had a battery replaced here 10/14/19 and my car would not start again two weeks later. Tried everything to get it to start.This shop must have used a recycled battery because it did not last even one month. I have other vehicles to drive and travel extensively so I put this one on the back burner for repair. Today Chevy dealer is saying the battery is bad, car needs spark plugs, and carbon emission cleaning. Paid this place $150 in labor and $180 for battery, COMPLETE waste of money.

I recently purchased a vehicle and brought it here prior to buying it for a pre-purchase inspection. Nashville Auto Repair said they would hook it up to the computer and that the inspection would be thorough. The only issue they found with the car was the AC, and that they heard the front left wheel bearing making a noise when they drove it.So I ended up buying the car, but now 3 months later it turns out they missed the fact that the whole break system needed to be replaced, the shocks and struts are leaking, both control arms of the steering are torn open with a damaged suspension system. So fair warning, do not come here if you want a thorough and honest pre-purchase inspection.

I needed to get my right mirror fixed. Nashville Auto Repair’s price for the mirror/installation was significantly less expensive than the other two quotes I received. George was very helpful throughout the process of getting me the quote and then doing the repair. The repair was quick and painless. I definitely recommend Nashville Auto Repair for body work needs!

Were nice, but seemed like they tried to gouge me because I was from out of town. Charged $100 to do a vehicle inspection. Tried to charged $610 for a water pump replacement. $50 of parts and they said three hours of labor. Did it myself in an hour and a half. I understand there is overhead when youre running a business, but this was insane.

Nashvilles best kept secret on mechanics. Old school mechanic that understands the language cars speak. George went out of his way 2 jump start my 02 GMC Yukon. There is a 67 Oldsmobile in his shop being worked on now as well as newer vehicles waiting on OEM parts.Located at the Shell station.George, you have earned a customer.

Disappointed in this mechanic shop!! Called to see if they did any work with extended warranty companies as I need my car repaired and have an extended warranty.The girl who answered the phone said “not really” and when I asked why her response was “because we don’t have time to sit on the phone on hold with warranty companies for hours.” I literally called my warranty company and someone answered right away. For all the flashy stuff they put on their website it’s a SHAME they pick and choose what customers they help!! I’ll make sure I never do business with them and anyone I know in the Nashville area doesn’t either!

Kudos to this business for doing it right. My son’s car broke down while traveling through Nashville on his first long distance trip. I got on the internet and found this business. After talking with Nicholas on the phone, I felt like these guys could assist me with the situation I was in. I live 6 hours from Nashville in Ga, and could not get to my son to assist him. Upon calling Nashville Auto Repair, they sent out a tow truck to get the vehicle to them and safely off the street. By the way, this was a Friday afternoon after 5 pm on a holiday weekend. They ensured me they would have someone look at it first thing Saturday morning, and sure enough I received a call around 1:30 pm on Saturday telling me the car had been repaired and even noted a few other issues that we may need to be in the look out for in the future. They fixed the issue with his transmission at a price that I felt was fair. These guys could have easily taken advantage of my son in the shape we were in. However, they were nothing but helpful, informative, and most of all honest. Thanks Nashville Auto Repair, I hope we never need your service again but for those who may, you have my highest recommendation.

Had to have my rear wheel bearing replaced on a big work van. Was turned away by another shop but was told it would be no problem here. Once they started taking things apart it was found that there were much more problems than originally thought, including the fact that my rear brakes were completely shot. These guys were able to get it done in one day with no problems to speak of. Ended up spending more than I had originally hoped, but truthfully I feel even more confident in the vehicle and am very pleased with cost per value of the work. Not only that, but while they were waiting on parts for my vehicle they busted out like 7 other cars. These guys WORK and they work hard. The owner told me he gets folks passing through all the time and wants to get them in and out as fast as possible to keep them from having to get hotels or stay longer than planned. That is quality service. Cant thank them enough. We were able to be on the road the next morning as planned because of them.

Came in not sure what was wrong with my car. They inspected the whole car and fixed the minor problem and then taught me how I can fix it on my own at home. So kinda truly there to help you and not try to charge you more or take money from you. So kind and genuine everyone so go there!

Absolutley the best service I’ve had. Thought I had to get a new alternator and went down the street to the firestone complete care they wanted to charge me way over what my car was even worth so went down the street and spoke to the guys at Nashville auto repair. They diagnosed my issue (it was a lot more minor than I thought) fixed it within an hour or 2 and I was on my way. 10/10 service!

There was a man from Egypt try to charge me 1000 dollar to put a muffler that I want to put on my car an the funny things was I supply the muffler. I told him he is a theft. I wouldnt recomend to nobody this place an he abused his employee

This is without a doubt the most honest shop I have ever dealt with. Emad does clean business. He runs an expert shop with fair prices, and he stands behind his work. I send friends and family here all the time. Ive used this shop for years and will not go anywhere else.

We are in town for the weekend and came out from brunch to find a flat tire. We looked up tire repair near us and this popped up. He got us in immediately and repaired the tire right away! It only took 20 minutes!! He was so kind and helpful! And very affordable!!!

Probably the best repair shop I’ve been to. They’re quick, honest and affordable. They shoot straight with you about what your car really needs repaired and won’t try to oversell you. It’s clear they have enough work as it is so they want to get you in and out as quick as possible.I’ve gone in with minor issues (spark plug came loose, hood wouldn’t close all the way) and they’ve fixed my problem right there in the lot and sent me on my way without accepting payment knowing that I will absolutely be back if I have a serious issue.Not often you find businesses like this so I’m thankful they’re close by.

I had my alternator go out. Nashville Auto Repair first told me the battery needed to be replaced which I had done but was still having problems. After taking the car back in the problem ended up being the alternator. They gave me a refund for the battery but just over a year later the alternator they sold me went out. Turns out they had sold me a reconditioned alternator which they got for $100. They charged me $300 plus 3 hrs labor. They do quick work but will mark up their parts dramatically.

Had a great experience here. Owner Emad is wonderful. The white dude is Awesome too. Highly recommended. 5 STARS!

It a good areas

Ive been coming to this shop for a few years for repairs. The first time I came I needed my engine replaced, it was expensive and took over a week but the car drove just fine afterwards. No complaints.Ive come here for a/c repair and since, I have not had any problems with it.Last summer I came for a new alternator. I was in and out in less than 2 hours. The car drove fine.......Fast forward to a year later and my alternator is out again, but this time I am visiting in a different city and I get stranded. I called the shop and asked about a warranty. They told me they would replace the part and got in contact with the manufacturer right away to mail the new alternator.It took two days but Im so thankful I didnt have to pay for the part. However, I had to pay for the labor as Car Quest (the manufacturer) would not cover. That made no sense. I ended up having to pay for the same service twice, had they given me a better part, its possible the alternator would not have gone out within a year.I lost a weeks worth of wages as I had to wait for them to mail the part, and wait for the two car shops going back and forth about the pay for labor.Once I made it back to Nashville. I talked to Emad at Nashville Auto, out of his own pocket he covered the labor that I had to pay. These guys are always willing to work with me to keep me and my car on the road. Ill always trust these guys.

Tonight I pulled up at Nashville Auto Repair right as the shop was closing. George was pulling down the doors and locking up when I asked, Hey man - do you know if they sell jumper cables inside the gas station? George said How far is the car youre wanting to jump? I told him it was right around the corner, and much to my surprise he hopped in my vehicle. We drove down the street and talked about all the changes of the neighborhood until we got to my buddys truck. I offered him some cash for his trouble to which he replied, No, thank you. Not 7 minutes transnspired before I dropped him back at the shop, and that was that. It is people like George who remind me of the good in humanity. He was so kind, and I absolutely 100% recommend going to him for your auto repair needs solely based on his character. Thanks, George!

Emad is super quick to make moves happen and if you need your vehicle back fast he will work as fast as he can. He’s always done great work for me and my family. From time to he’ll cut me a break and always willing to show me what he replaced. Most of the time he even asks if I want the old part back lol. Honest guy running an honest business. I had gone to 3 different locations in hopes of replacing a headlight bulb that just wouldnt budge. Nick @ Nashville Auto Repair had the bulb out and replaced within 10 minutes of my arrival. I will definitely be coming back with any other car service needs!

Absolutely great! Way more than fair, less expensive and a bargain most all of the time with quality and attention. Fast turns, quick quotes, creative solutions, honest opinions if you just need to pay for second opinion. Best at tires, brakes and fast problems but also excellent batteries, belts . Has been fantastic for my used Prius for the things not requiring dealer hybrid electric care. Im a fan of care for our other cars brought here too, including both SUVs (Acadia, 4runner) and the limo.

I cant THANK these guys enough!!! We were traveling home to IL pulling a camper, our son and two little dogs when our truck died on the interstate. They were the only garage that would help us, my husband had called over 10 different places. In one last Google search I typed in different wording and they popped right up. They not only worked our truck in but got it done very fast. I wish we lived closer because Nashville Auto repair would be our go to garage!!!!
