We have purchased a few appliances from CenWood, and always come back because they are fabulous from start to finish. Sarah Misak has handled every hurdle we have thrown at her, and we actually have a good time figuring out solutions to the tricky situations in both homes we have lived in! And the install guys, Jade and Hunter, just completed an install and did an amazing job at problem solving so that they could get this done for us. Thank you CenWood.

I’ll start with the conclusion- I will never buy from Cenwood again, and I will tell everyone I know to avoid doing business with them. I have never seen any company with such an appalling lack of customer service.I placed a large order for kitchen, laundry, and guest house appliances in December 2020, and paid in full. At that time, we had a “March-May” home completion window, and the delivery schedule we were given at the time of the order showed all items shipping before the end of May. As the dates got nearer, the contractor reached out to confirm install times, and eventually our sales rep (Vicky) would respond with new dates- weeks or months further out. This same pattern has continued right up to the present - after many calls from the builder, a delivery date for a part of the order would be confirmed by Cenwood, only for it to be blown. NEVER were we informed by Vicky (or anyone else at Cenwood) that they would miss the delivery date. We only found out when the foreman called them to confirm the specific time the next day. and was told then that there would be no delivery. This has happened multiple times for multiple pieces of the order. It is now September 9, and we still don’t have our Sub-Zero refrigerator, freezer, range hood, speed-oven, or dishwasher.I know that supply chains are stretched, manufacturers are backordered, and there are long lead times for many products, but the complete lack of any communications by Cenwood is unacceptable, and in my experience, unique to them. Other vendors, equally stressed, have emailed (or called), explained the situation, the reasons for the delay, and offered alternatives where available. Where there were no acceptable alternatives, they made sure to update us as soon as they learned any new information. Cenwood, in contrast, has never proactively reached out to give ANY information. When the delivery last Friday didn’t have the freezer it was supposed to, we contacted Vicky to find out where it was. She stated she was in Iceland and passed the question off to someone else. We contacted that person and they had no idea what we were talking aboutAnother time, after yet another missed delivery, I called Vicky to get an explanation, and received a “this mailbox is full, and can’t accept any more voicemail messages. Goodbye”. That about sums up their customer service.

Very disappointed with the level of communication and customer care we received from Cenwood. My husband and I ordered our refrigerator in February. Our frustration is not the duration that we waited for the refrigerator to arrive. We’re still coming out of a pandemic and supply chains are all kinds of messed up. However, throughout our wait, we were never offered updates. To receive updates, I reached out to our sales rep via email. These communications were short but I understand, everyone is busy.I received an email this past Monday (5/24) stating our fridge had been delivered and that we were scheduled for a Thursday delivery. I was elated, despite the fact we were not asked if that day would work for us, but we were happy to make it work as it had been almost three months since ordering. I was told there would be a phone call prior to delivery so my husband could leave his office and meet the truck. About midafternoon, we hadn’t heard anything so I called over to Cenwood and was informed the truck was running behind, but they would call and be there. We did not receive a call but an email stating that the truck was at our house and would be leaving if we did not answer the door. I immediately called Cenwood and spoke with our representative who tried to get in touch with the truck. Instead of calling me back, I received another email stating the truck had left and we would be rescheduled. I responded to this email asking for the next possible delivery date and for the contact information of the scheduler so I would have updated contact information to avoid another miscommunication. The next morning I received no response from our representative. I tried calling Cenwood but reception was away from the desk and I got voicemail. On a subsequent try I spoke with someone who informed me our representative had gone to lunch. I left a voicemail with my phone number for a call back. I received an email in return- not responding to my original message but of a different thread entirely asking if I had received a voicemail from the installers- I had not.Instead of enduring further miscommunications and delay, my husband went to Cenwood as it seemed to be impossible to get anyone on the phone and inquired whether we could collect the refrigerator ourselves. He rented a UHaul, found two friends to help and our refrigerator finally made it home exactly three months from the day that we ordered it.Turns out there had been some sort of mix up with the phone number on our account. Our original receipt did not have our phone number listed but it was listed on the delivery ticket given to my husband upon pickup. We could not have known that it was incorrect prior to this moment. Not assigning blame as to whether our writing was illegible or it was input into the computer incorrectly, however, throughout the duration of our communications with our sales representative, my email signature contained our address and my phone number. There seemed to be no desire to get to the bottom of the issue. We did not feel cared for as a customer and do not anticipate being a customer of Cenwood again.

We visited CenWood last December and started an order with Denise and were blown away by her commitment to find the right appliances for our home. We described what we wanted and went in as “researched consumers” and she was able to steer us away from products that we thought we wanted. She suggested the GE Cafe line for our needs and it has performed brilliantly in our home, for our family!We highly recommend CenWood and their staff, especially Denise! She will take the time to listen to your needs and design and appliance package that fits your budget!

Cenwood sales staff, Michael Erdman, is super. He went way above and beyond what we ever experienced before to make our sure our new range and dishwasher fit. Bought $14K worth of appliances from them, including a stove, which literally was delivered in pieces as if they built a frankenstein stove from spare parts. Same with our fridge but we managed to get that one working after replacing 3 different parts. They had to physically cut a piece for another fridge with a sawzall to make it fit.Stove has never worked correctly. Asked to have it replaced after 2 different service guys came by. They said theres a year waitlist and we asked to be added.That was last November and theres been no response to emails, no phone callbacks, literal radio silence.Avoid this scammy spot at all costs and go to a better appliance store. They are shady and not to be trusted.

We are remodeling our home, ordered appliances from home Depot and promised a delivery date. Two days before that date, we were informed the appliances would not be available for another six weeks. Thankfully Kerry Ferguson at CenWood came to our aid. We found great appliances delivered when he said they would be delivered. Also they have very courteous and professional installers Can’t say enough good things about this company

Given the choice, we always prefer to buy our appliances from CenWood. They only sell quality products, so stick to the big boxes if you want the absolutely cheapest option. But head to head they equal or beat the box stores on item price, and beat them on install and delivery. Plus, the entire experience is enjoyable with quality service.

Ill preface this by saying this is probably the first Google review I have ever written. Im probably as patient as they come but today I lost my patience with Cenwood Appliance in Nashville and Dacor Appliances. In spring of 2018 we purchased a rather expensive Dacor refrigerator and freezer from Cenwood in Nashville along with other appliances for our kitchen remodel. In October 2020 the refrigerator stopped cooling. I called Dacor and they gave me the name of Dacor certified maintenance folks and their tech came to the house and diagnosed it to have a coolant leak. According to the tech this was unusual and could not repair the refrigerator because they did not own the expensive equipment necessary to make the repair. After a few weeks of Dacor communicating with the tech it was determined by Dacor that the refrigerator needed to be replaced (under warranty). It took over 2 months for Dacor work up their chain of command to approve the replacement and the contract with Cenwood Appliances to handle the replacement installation. They finally gave us a replacement date of 1/12/2021 but when no one showed up at our home on 1/12/2021, I called to find out why. I learned that the unit they were going to deliver had been damaged during shipping to Cenwood. Of course, no one called us to fill us in on this and delivery was not rescheduled. We spent most of a day waiting and looking forward to having our fridge back only to find out it wasnt coming and Cenwood didnt contact us to let us know. Now, 2 weeks later, I’m communicating with Cenwood on getting a replacement and they are supposedly communicating with Dacor daily to get a tracking number. As of today, the Cenwood rep says Dacor doesnt have one in production. So we have been without our refrigerator now for over 110 days. Thats almost 1/3 of a year and with no end in sight. Neither Cenwood Appliances or Dacor Appliances has offered any form of replacement or refund. We chose to purchase from Cenwood because we thought they sold superior products with top notch customer service. We have been greatly disappointed in both.

Im going to try to make this long story short. We purchased a range that had issues. That happens. I contacted my sales person, Laura Harvey. Shes amazing. She immediately was on top of our issue. Turned out we had a 2 fold issue. Range was faulty and we needed different wiring for a new range to work properly. Laura orchestrated every step of this process for me. She patiently listened and then professionally responded. I never felt that our problem would not be satisfactorily resolved. I highly recommend Cenwood because of their caring staff and especially because of Laura Harvey. She treated me like family.

Our entire experience purchasing a new gas cooktop from Cenwood was exceptional. Louise Stark responded within an hour or two to my call asking for information about replacing an old Jenn-Air cooktop. She emailed her recommendation-the Jenn-Air 36-inch gas downdraft cooktop (JGD3536GB00). I went to the showroom to see it in person. We liked what we saw and read and purchased it. The price was comparable to prices I saw doing research before contacting Cenwood. The installation price was very reasonable.The installation was complicated by the need to have the opening in our granite countertop enlarged. Working with Louise, we arranged for Cenwoods team to remove my old unit and leave the new one so that the granite company could measure it directly. This they did on a Monday afternoon. The first granite company I called promised to be on site Tuesday morning, and Cenwoods installers were scheduled to return Tuesday afternoon.Between the first granite company not showing up and bad weather, our installation got moved to the next Monday. None of this delay was because of Cenwood. They did everything they promised when they said they would. They even tried to fit me in earlier than our new appointment time.The installers always called me to let me know their anticipated arrival time. With three on the team-Chad, David, and Caleb, the installation went smoothly and quickly. They fitted the unit in perfectly and ensured it was working properly before leaving.This cooktop is great. Heavy duty grates, easy to clean black porcelain enamel surfaces. Its one month after installation, and I love cooking on it. My wife was cooking a few days ago and suddenly said, I love this stove.Even better was the service we received from Cenwood. From the first contact until installation, they were always professional, friendly, efficient, everything I wanted from a company selling me this kind of appliance. I highly recommend them.

Shopping for a new refrigerator is an investment you will live with daily for years. I went to a Cenwood first because I previously had a positive experience in buying a new dishwasher and beverage refrigerator for my kitchen remodel. After comparison shopping at other area stores, I made my latest purchase at Cenwood. First, they had the best product to Meet my needs. Two, Sales reps Laura and Sarah helped me select the GE Cafe Energy Star 4-door French door Refrigerator. After a month of use, I love it!!! They also helped me navigate delivery issues due to Covid-19. Three, the install team provided prompt and quality service. Going forward, Cenwood will provide help with any parts or repairs the refrigerator may require. Cenwood is truly a full service company that carries top brands you can count on.

We were pleasantly surprised from the moment we walked in the door. I was not expecting much, this was our first stop. We needed a new microwave, double oven and cooktop.The help we received from Laura H was awesome! Not only did she help us with picking out Appliances for our spaces, she helped us with fitting the Appliances into our kitchen. When I was not happy with the choices on the microwave that would only fit into our current space she helped us with finding some one to adjust the current cabinet space to fit the one we liked into the space. She was very easy to work with, helped tremendously with installation dates as well as follow up once they were all installed. I would highly recommend Cenwood.

I walked in right behind another couple. I walked around the entire show room as I am remodeling a rental and need appliances. (Stove, fridge, hood, dishwasher) Neither myself nor the couple was greeted, assisted, asked any questions or spoke to in any way. We left at the same time and talked about lack of customer service. They are remodeling the kitchen in their home. Neither of us would return.

Bought a refrigerator from CenWood. Paid the same price as the big box store, but I like supporting local businesses. Took a week for the refrigerator to be delivered, annoying, but not the end of the world. The delivery was scheduled for between 8 AM and 11 AM. So I took a half-day off work. Delivery drivers finally showed up about 2:30pm. They proceeded to sit in the truck on their phones for over 30 minutes even though they were multiple hours late… When they did finally come to the door the guy just walked right in without knocking, almost letting my husky out... Would not buy from here again.

Surprised to see zero ratings for this company. good or bad. This high end company does not stand behind the products they sell. They just tell you to go to the manufacturer, which was absolutely zero help on a multi-thousand dollar fridge that does not work. It is a snow making machine in the freezer, ice and water dispenser leaks. and doors do not properly close shut, which has left the cooling unit running non-stop with no alarm.After buying 12k plus in appliances from this company and being SOLD on this fridge they will not back up their sales.Do not buy from them and expect support,Fridge Electrolux brand

Cenwood delivered a fridge to my new construction home the day following closing. During installation, several thousand dollars of damage was done to my wood floor. In addition to the damaged floor, the delivery crew didnt confirm that they had correctly installed the water filter. Several hours later water started pooling on the new hardwood floor due to filter not being properly seated.More than 6 months later with no support from Cenwood their insurance company issued a check to cover damage. People are human and mistakes happen, but I am extremely disappointed in how Cenwoods President handled the situation. All I did was pay full price for a high-end fridge, and he didnt feel compelled to return emails, phone calls or give me a partial refund for the inconvenience . Now my family along with 2 large dogs need to vacate the house for 4 days while repair work is completed. Worst retail purchase experience of my life.
