Absolutely HORRIBLE company!!!!!!! Terrible service all around. Bought a fridge, paid for delivery and install. All they did was drop it in the office kitchen and left, did no kind of install. On top of that I plugged the fridge in and it doesn’t work at all. I called and get the run a round. I called corporate and that was just as bad. I sent pics and videos of it not working and the extra damage they did during the delivery (put a huge dent in the front of the fridge) it’s been weeks now and I haven’t received a response. I ended up doing a dispute with my credit card company. Just go buy something on sale at a legit store like Home Depot or Best Buy. It’s not worth the savings to deal with this company and the employees. If you do go in the store, look on both sides of the appliance your looking at because they cram them right next to each other to hide the really bad damage on the sides and back. They are a very shady company.

Wow is all I can say !! 1st upon walking in everyone was seated and relaxing. The gentleman who got up acted as if we were interrupting him. A nice young lady working with him got up to tag along and help. Every time she tried to help he stepped on her helpfulness. I had every intention of dropping some serious cash that day but I had been up early delivering dogs to the vet, painting outside while cool, and washing my car so I looked homeless. Which is how he treated us! I decided to go elsewhere and buy the most expensive appliance package and household full of furniture. Shame on you Mr.!

Super deals on appliances and more.Some have dings but you can always order a part and still save a lot. I got a Bosch DW for super cheap, big dent in front panel. I ordered a new one for 80.00 and still saved. I put it on myself thanks to YouTube. Im 70 yr. Old female. Easy

The Worst Customer Service I had experienced ever. No one there was helpful in providing any information on A bedroom set I ordered back in May. Every-time I called to check on it- it was one answer “do you want to cancel” and “ we dont know when it can get here”. Until I called the Antioch location an d Sandra the Manager there took care of my right on the spot. Kudos to her on her great customer service. Go see Sandra at the Antioch location she will do everything she can to help you.

Dont waste your time buying from them online. Charged my card. Confirmed my order. No call for delivery. When I called them they told me they sold the item to someone who came in the store in person and that people who walk in have priority over online orders. So now Im trying to get a refund from them to shop somewhere else. Highly disappointed. Practically a scam.

Usually dont write reviews, but our experience with American Freight has made our moving experience incredibly stressful. We had a washer delivered broken (wouldnt drain), two dryers delivered broken (they wouldnt heat up), so we had to have an electrician come out to our house and charge $200 to tell us that nothing was wrong with the electric and that the appliances were delivered broken. They also couldnt test the dryers because they took them back both times. Then, we were placed on a waitlist to receive a dryer, and have already not had one for a month because 2 were delivered broken. The company refused to let me refund the dryer and instead made put me on a waitlist despite having to wait a month and have 4 different appliances delivered to our house with only one working. The amount of hours and stress this had added to our move has been unbelievable.

I ordered a new Sears Kenmore refrigerator online in December 2019. It was delivered on December 29, 2019. I started having trouble with the cooling of the refrigerator in February 2021 (14 months after purchase) I called an appliance repairman and he serviced refrigerator by cleaning the condenser coil. It was still erratic in its cooking ability; reaching 60 degrees often. I called again in March 2021 at which time the same repairman said it needed the fan motor replaced. He told me that the fan motor for this fridge had been discontinued. I was shocked since it was only 14 months old. I called the Sears customer care line (in India) and explained situation and was connected with the parts department. I then ordered and paid for the needed part on March 10 and was told it should arrive on March 22. I called back March 24 and was told the part was delayed and I should receive it April 23 (today) I just got off thephone AGAIN with customer service and am still in the dark, still do not have the needed and paid for part and do not know when OR if I will receive it. Meanwhile, I am still paying monthly on Shop Your Way Sears account for this LEMON refrigerator. I am STILL living out of an ice chest and buying a bag of ice daily because I cannot use the refrigerated section of my fridge that I am still paying for. My husband is furious and wants either our money back or a suitable exchange immediately. Please answer me as to how we will get satisfaction for this awful situation asap.

They wont let you negotiate the price. Which is something I really like doing. However the prices are not bad definitely cheaper than retail. However they will not let you return anything. Keep in mind this is for stuff that is dented scratched and so on.

BEWARE - If you sign up for six month financing, they continue to take money from your account for months. I have called American Freight. I have called American First Finance. All calls and emails have gone unreturned. All my payments were made on time and they have taken over an additional $2,500 from me. Currently disputing with my bank and will pursue other legal avenues if necessary.

We purchased a refrigerator here in January and paid extra for the “protection plan” so that any issues would be covered. Well, the protection plan is an ABSOLUTE SCAM. The freezer has been broken since we plugged it in (does not freeze - at all) and they say that they will replace the appliance if they can’t fix it.We have had technicians out about 6 times now over the course of nearly 5 months, I’ve spent HOURS on the phone with the Sears repair people, and we still are nowhere near having a freezer that works. The technicians are overwhelmingly incompetent and the people working at the call center are untrained. It is truly the most frustrating customer service experience that I have ever heard of. Actually cried out of confusion and frustration.I hope that some people will see this review before purchasing an appliance here. It is NOT that much cheaper than purchasing from a big box store, and you will actually get your appliance serviced through a protection plan from somewhere else.DO NOT BUY HERE

Poor selection. Two sofas and three bedroom sets that we wanted were out of stock. We finally settled on one of the few sofas available, and after 30 minutes the guy still couldnt figure out how to ring us up. When he finally did it was for the color we didnt want. We told him this and he told the other guy behind the counter You can have this sale, I cant figure it out. The other guy told him he was busy, so we left empty handed.

Purchased a refrigerator and dishwasher and paid for delivery. Refrigerator was scratched from delivery and dishwasher was lost. They got us another dishwasher but it did not work. Multiple calls to the store would result in being put on hold endlessly, being told they would call back (they would not), or simply not answering their phones. Evident they would not fix their issue. Just paid another company $200+ to fix their dishwasher they sold me. Terrible experience. Will never use again and would not recommend anyone shop here. Is zero stars an option??

Dont trust these guys with online orders. I ordered a refurbished washer and dryer from this location online. They canceled one which must not have been available, but they never completed the rest of the order . When the first item was canceled, I received a refund for that item, but have never received a refund for the remaining $480 for the other item and shipping/delivery costs. This has been a couple months now, Ive called support multiple times and each time they tell me the same - theyre putting in a ticket and I should receive the refund in a few business days. I have never heard back, never received any refund. Theyve basically stolen $480 for an order theyve never completed.

Bought a washer and dryer set, and had a broken dryer delivered. Doesn’t work. My delivery drivers told me a tech would be on his way to fix the little piece that was missing. I called the store three times to verify this, and everyone essentially told me to stop calling and that the tech would be there by the end of the night. No one showed up. I called the next day after delivery and they told me they’re not sure what to do and pushed me off onto the third party dryer company to have fixed. 0/10, still can’t contact a supervisor, now I just have a broken dryer and no way of having it fixed or refunded

Get great deals on certain things. I bought an amazing GE fridge for $500 with only a couple small dents on the stainless steel front. I covered the dents with magnets and its perfect.I took all five stars off their rating because they have dishwashers four feet off the ground that are not bolted to the cabinets and will easily tip over on you when you open the door and roll out the racks to look inside. Im surprised someone hasnt been crushed yet. Completely unsafe, and a lawsuit waiting to happen.But back to the good things, the appliances are really good, delivery was reasonable price and reasonably convenient. It is a little hard to schedule because the delivery company is not Sears, so only the delivery company can cancel a delivery and only Sears can reschedule a new delivery. If you cancel a delivery you have no guarantee how many days to reschedule. Fortunately our request for last stop was honored so the fridge was delivered at 8pm when e were home from work. I wish I didnt come to look at dishwashers or they would have had a five star review from me. Im actually walking over right now to see the manager.

Disappointing. Since it claims to previously be the Sears Outlet store, I expected it to be more like Sears outlet. It looks similar inside, but the selection is much smaller than Sears Outlet. The discounts are much smaller. I was looking for a dryer and about 1/3 of them had no price tag or product information - only an “inventory tag”. On the rest, the tag did not give any info on features and some didn’t even have a model number so you could google it. In the end, after googling a few to figure out the features, I found nothing with the features I wanted and it was a waste of my time. I won’t be going back.

This place feels like someone is going to pop out from behind one of the sketchy appliances and scare you. The sales guys look like they are all on work release and the guy who helped me told me 4 times in 5 minutes he works on commission only then tried to Debo me into buying something. Also they charge $170 for installation and $80 delivery so you arent saving any money. I went to home depot and bought brand new for the same price. Also the guy offered to take my friend in the back for a discount and accused them of being stoned. 🤷‍♀️

The old saying “you get what you pay for” applies here. Do not expect good customer service at this place, only drastically reduced prices on appliances. Think of it like buying at a garage sale. 2 stars because I found an awesome new but out of the box Whirlpool dishwasher for half cost, because it has some small scratches on it in the front corner. Now that it is installed you cannot even see the scratches. Understand that any reviews you read from before Summer 2020 were under PREVIOUS OWNERSHIP by Sears (from whom I’ve bought appliances at this location for decades with great service). This new team is brand new and a completely different company.The reason I did not give this place 5 stars is because I took on all the work of delivery and installation, and basically all the risk if it didn’t function properly. It was a major hassle dealing with a very unorganized staff team, so the attempted delivery process was a cluster. After being wait-listed for a week on their delivery calendar, they totally screwed up the plan to deliver and install it, informing me they scheduled it with the wrong team who does not do installations. This required me to make a second trip there during a pandemic (no willingness to correct this over the phone) so that I could get a refund on the delivery etc. I decided I’d NOT depend on this place for a correct installation and instead met my own personal handyman there to pick it up, load it, and then install it.BUYING TIP: Make sure you get any and all “policies” in writing from them. I suggest you hire your own handyman to pickup/install, and then use it THAT DAY to make sure it works. We witnessed a customer at the counter today complaining that the appliance doesn’t work, and saw the staff abrasively say “Sorry, it’s been more than 48 hours, not our problem.” So you do run a risk when buying from this place that you may get stuck with an appliance that doesn’t work. They do tell you the manufacturer honors the warranty, but sometimes warranties don’t cover 100% of the cost to repair. So just be aware and understand the rules and get it in writing.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Sell faulty products then pass you off to warranty company and neither company will help you. It was great when Sears Outlet but not anymore. Bought a certified refurbished freezer from them. It was a scratch and dent model not previously used. The compressor started going out within a week of having it despite the certified and tested claim from American Freight. (Yes, we properly hauled and waited 48+ hours before plugging in). We purchased the protection plan so we called and immediately made a claim. Soonest available appt was 2 wks out. Tech came, said compressor is bad a new one is needed and the parts would have to be ordered. Also, that this model ran on butane so there was only one tech in their company that could repair it. He ordered the parts and said they would call to schedule service. Parts came, no call so we called them. They informed us that all parts were not received and the several items were on back order including the compressor. We checked in with warranty company multiple time and the were VERY unhelpful. Fast forward almost 6 months later and we have FINALLY received the missing parts. No call from warranty company to schedule. In the meantime, freezer is now cutting off and on putting our food at risk. We called Sears and ask for assistance to get the warranty company to send tech out since we now have all the parts and have had such a hard time with the warranty company. Manager refused to help and said we have to call claims ourself. We call claims get transferred to the very unhelpful warranty department again. After 20 mins they finally get us on the schedule for 8 days out despite us letting them know the freezer is now intermittently shutting off. Cannot get someone sooner and won’t give us the number to directly call the techs and ask for sooner appt or help (we have to a have a special tech come out not just get on the schedule). Then they tried to telemarket to us “for our trouble” and would not take no for an answer. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME AND SHOP ELSEWHERE!!!

I bought an LG 23.7 SF stainless steel French door fridge w/ice/water dispenser and bottom freezer, a self cleaning Maytag 5-burner gas range w/storage drawer, and a dual zone 3-drawer stainless steel LG dishwasher. Retail on all three was $5970.00 before tax or delivery fee. I paid under $2500.00 which included 9.25 percent TN sales tax, installation of the fridge, and the delivery/takeaway fee for the 3 old appliances. The stove has a significant dent above the control panel. Im purchasing the replacement housing for $123.00. Looks like a super simple repair. Im happy!

If I could give no stars I would pick that option. Right after Memorial Day we brought my 73 year old mother in law to this store and purchased a patio set that was a little over $324.00. While putting the set together my husband realized that there was no back to the bench style seat. He contacted American Freight to let them know this piece was missing so that we could exchange it for one with all pieces. We were told that they did not have any more patio sets and furthermore, they would not let us return it for a refund. They told us to contact the manufacturing company for the missing piece and we are now waiting to hear from them. American Freight should simply exchange this set or refund the money or contact the manufacturer to make this right. I wont buy anything from them in the future nor will I refer anyone to their store. Extremely disappointed in this customer service or should I say lack thereof.

Ordered a grill online for pickup. This was about an hour and half drive for me. When I got here a salesman approached me and asked if he could help. I told him that I was there to pick up something I had purchased online and he told me that he didnt help with that and walked off. We walked around waiting for someone else that worked there for a good 20 minutes and a female was at the front desk. I think she was the manager, so we went up to the desk and told her we needed to pick something up and she acted like we were interrupting her...got huffy with us. She did, however, call someone to load up our grill. We had items that we wanted to purchase and, again, acted like we were bothering her because we wanted to pay for said items. Their only saving grace was the gentleman who helped us load our purchase. He was probably the least paid person there, and was the nicest! He unboxed the grill for us as it wouldnt fit in our car, and even loaded it piece by piece into our trunk. Again, this was their only saving grace. I will think twice before ordering something from here again.

Not great customer service here at ALL! You better know what you want or know about the item before you get here. Also, make sure you let the cashier know if you want the 3 year or 5 year warranty before they ring it up. They automatically ring up the 5 year without even asking you! If it wasnt for it being Sears I probably wouldnt have even purchased from here. I would have loved going into a traditional Sears store!
