I had a computer with a failing hard drive. They were able to copy it onto a new solid state drive for a very reasonable price. The rest of this story is the laptop this work was done on was one I bought from them used. I replaced the OS with Linux Mint and it continues to work like a champion.

Great service. Needed a new power supply on a Saturday and they were very fast and had great customer service. They even came off lunch early to fast track it. Would 100% recommend.

I tried to call to see if they had certain items in stock (a grounding wrist strap and an mini speaker for my motherboard since it doesnt have one). The person who answered the phone had absolutely no idea what I was talking which was already a bit of a concern since I am specifically calling a store thats... well... a computer store.I can understand not knowing specifics on parts that a person calls about, I dont particularly understand how someone could not be aware if they even carry such things. I was told to call back later to speak to someone who knows about these things. This threw me off completely and turned me off to calling later. The wrist strap alone is a very basic, very obvious item. The motherboard speaker, being a bit more advanced, is something I can understand people not recognizing. I could also understand if it was a large building with rows of components. Thats not the case.I dont normally take my time to review stores because I understand that things happen and one negative experience shouldnt reflect on the store as a whole... however, this lack of simple knowledge of even the most basic item (again, the wrist strap) has left me more than a little hesitant when it comes to this store. I understand that not everyone in there is going to be a tech efficientato but even when I worked in a store that had items I didnt particularly understand, I still knew we had them.

Great service. They fixed several problems: Windows 10 start menu became inop, so too the task bar, so too Edge. They smoothly re-installed Windows 10, even cleaned some keyboard key contacts. I think the young female employee did the work - she really knows her stuff. One day turnaround. Would recommend to anybody.

Super helpful gents who helped me out with some hardware and also encouraged me to use my warrantee if it still applied to my situation. I appreciate the advice, guys!

Terrible experience! I took my laptop in just because the screws to screen came out and needed them replaced. I dropped it off ...no one called to tell me anything...I called the next day to find out if they had the screws or if they had to be ordered they said it was already repaired and ready for pick up....my bill was $120.00!!!!!!! For some screws and glue! They even admitted thats all that had to be done!! Nothing else! I should have gone to hardware store and done it myself! After having a dispute with associate he asked manager to drop the majority of the fees so I ended up paying $30.00....for a few screws and some glue :-/ Would have been nice to know the info upfront instead of AFTER the repairs and initial bill was made. I appreciate the discount but not the customer service.

They fixed my laptop screen and got rid of all the viruses on my computer! i love the fast service within 24 hours only..i even ended up buying one of the laptops.. easily accessible right on Tamiami trail across the bank of america building !thanks for the direction byteshop computers! you guys rock!

Way overpriced computer shop, horrible customer service. When i came to get my computer not only was some of my data mising but the guy fixing it was wearing ratty black clothes with tears in them and his hands were disgusting. He left smudges and marks all over my laptop. I asked the other guy working there if he could explain why my stuff was missing but he just mumbled and gave me some crappy excuse like it wasnt his fault. DO NOT go to Byte Shop.
