Secluded and nice beach. The water was a little dirty though. There are 3 ways to reach the beach. One, you can take the way through leopard valley, park your vehicle and take a short trekk to the beach. Second, you can trekk from Palolem or Agonda beach. Third, you can take ferry ride from Palolem or Agonda beach(was closed when I visited).
Beautiful hidden beach. This used to be a travelers find, however recent rise in tourism to south Goa has hyped this beach up a lot. You can get a boat ride to butterfly island and honeymoon beach from agonda or palolem which means theres a mass of people here at all times expect early mornings. You can reach via bike as well though the approach is quite rocky and off-road. Must visit for the beautiful views of youre in South Goa.
This a beautiful beach for sure but what takes away the charm is the unwanted trek to the beachside from a cafe premise called as butterfly cafe. They have arranged parking area for cars which is 100rs and have blocked the way further. If you are in 2 wheeler, you can easily go till 250 metres near to the beach which was the case an year back when i visited. But because of this illegal enroachment, 4 wheeler owners are forced to park nearby to cafe which otherwise reduces good 15 min of walking. Its fine to pay for it if you are using the cafe but otherwise u need to park and unecessarily walk for 30 minutes. This becomes tedious when you are with children.I refused to pay and parked 20 metres behind and no one questioned. No one can. Image i have put just for identifying the cafe where parking fee is levied.Avoid this place as food is also waste as suggested by other users.Suggest to go in 2 wheeler especialy if its a himalayan, u can save good 1 hr from walking.Last 200 metres is narrow and full of rocks. Also the beach is having strong waves due to boats getting docked often.
Need to walk a lot to get there! But its worth the view!
Very beautiful and serene beach.. but hard to reach
Beautiful beach. Best place for drone shot and camping.
I loved it this hidden beach.. Need a small treak from the parking space.. But some peoples take bike ride to reach the beach but I am suggesting small walk to this beautiful location throw forest... Carry water and food be good human so take acarry bag for waste ... Be careful when you swim on water
A must visit beach in South Goa.
Best beach in goa ..neat and clean
Lovely place
Awesome beach😍😍 Loved it. Seems like a private beach
Great 👍
Beautiful beach located in South Goa. Beautiful trail of half an hour. Goes from Jungle. Its worth walking for Half an hour. Take water bottles with you. Dont throw garbage on the beach. If you take two wheeler you can go more closer and have to walk less. If you take four wheeler you must be carefully Road is too narrow only one vehicle can fit on the road.Water is deep at beach. You can go also there from Boat from Palolem beach.
Amazing place for clicking photos u can get her by off-road or by sea in a boat from palolem beach.
Awesome beachBird eye view 👇🏻
Hidden gem in South goa
Butterfly beach is an off beat location for camping and spending quality time . The beach is located in south goa (extreme) . There are 2 ways to reach the beach one is by the ferry from palolem and the other is trekking into the leopard valley which is a bit scary by the name also hefty but totally safe if you love to trek . You can take your 4 wheelers and 2wheelers into the valley upto a certain extend and park it there . Once you reach the beach remember you need to kee it clean dont litter at all infact carry few bags for taking garbbage home ❤️
The beach was quite harsh and uncontrolled on the visit due to the monsoon... The shore is filled with broken beer bottles, plastics and used beer cans... Humans destroying a Heaven on Earth...!!
Good experience
Beach is just ok. But you will get trucking experience
Amazing experience who loves tracking with beaches, 4KM trekking was tiring but much worthy
Good
Its probably one of the most beautiful beaches Ive seen😊😊🏖🏖🏖 its adventures, beautiful, clean ...would not recommend for a swim ..coz the sea can get a bit rough....
This is a must visit place in South Goa.If you go by road, theres a 20-25 minutes walk.
Butterfly Beach offers a secluded place to chill out in south Goa. The semi-circular stretch of sand is bookended by piles of boulders, which make for great sightseeing perches. Youll feel like youve stumbled upon a desert island.Getting to Butterfly Beach might not be easy, but its worth it. Youll need to hike through a few kilometers of dense forest, or hop on a boat from nearby Agonda Beach or Palolem Beach. Bring supplies to keep you comfortable, as there arent many restaurants or shops nearby
Most spectacular place I really dont have the words to describe the beauty of the place. But we humans have really destroyed the beauty of it. Though this is a secluded place but every where you will see bags full of plastic bottles, garbages around .
OMG this is another paradise I have visited .....Very adventurous and beautiful place. There are no adventure activities as such but the path to the beach is itself adventure.Never wear sleepers....sports shoes are my advice carry water while going and yes an empty bag for your waste ( food or bottles, chips packets etc.)🌿🌿🌿🌿
Awesome beach in goa .
If you are lucky you can c dolphins 🐬. Otherwise normal beach. Hit Baga beach for night life
Very beautiful beach which can be reached after a 30 minute trek or in a boat from palolem beach. Its a hidden gem 💎
This beach is different approach to reach... few miles off road, few miles Trek path into the dense forest then awesome view with high tidal waves ... all around places with green mountains... I suggest to visit this place monsoon time... Best time is early morning and sunset time... otherwise this place feel like sweaty Zone...
#1st priority to visit...must visit
One of the best beach in Goa
Must visit place, Prefer going for it by trekking rather than using boat from nearby beach. It is more adventurous
Cute little Beach, but please make sure that you dont litter around while visiting the place.
Must visit ❤️
Peaceful place you can go there by trek Or boat
There is trash everywhere on beach. Worst experience.
The best beach area, it will have less people
Best view and clear water. If you visit by two wheeler that will be good
Visit only by 2 vehicle or 4*4 Vehicle
Read My review, Place is far away from main road, you can take bike half away. then your need to do tracking. Take drinking water with you no Shop available from main yo beach. Family who love tracking only those can go. Couple with small kids please take precautions, tracking is not easy with carrying small kids. Too much inside from road.
Beautiful Beach 🏖️ in GOAWowwwwww
Awesome beach.
Cool place...
Good beach
You need to trek till there.. and its really beautiful... And also a must visit place.
Wooow place...nature at its best .less crowded and amazing view....
Best beach in goa
Butterfly beach is on of the best beach in goa where we have to visit this place by passing through the jungle and off-roading. only bike is the option to go or else we have to walk for around 1 hour.there is another way from palolem beach via water way and have to pay for the boat. If you have a hero type bike than must visit this place via jungle way.
The road to reach the place is bad. Last 2km is not motorable. Four wheelers cannot go. Two wheelers can go half the distance if it doesnt rain. The place can be reached on a boat as well from one of the adjacent beaches. The beach is pretty small and beautiful one in between rocks
Bad experience very Long distance and road not good very risky place in night there is no lights in road and very bad condition of road.
I found this beach beautifulYou have to do ferry to reach therePlace is full of rocks and trees
Adventurous place for swimmers, but if you dont know swimming, then dont go in Deep water as there is no one to rescue. If you are going on a bike then its best as the road is not that good, but yeah, we can go easily bike or scoot by hiring for a day which cost RS 350 for Scooty, RS 800 KTM Duke, RS 1000 for Royal Enfield Bullet and need to fuel as they will provide only 1ltr while giving the bikeOverall experience was good as it was not much crowded and beach is also clean.
Good view of sunset and sea water waves are heavy pushes you, walk way is good and interesting
A very peaceful place to be at, you can go there by trek or boat.
Just wow place..a remote beach close to Palolwm beach, you can treck or take a boat to reach this beach.in the treck route you have to leave your vehicle 1-2 km away from the beach.this will reminds you Hippy beach in gokarna.tre no shacks available so carry your food and water .there are one -two vendors but selling prices are high.
Its wonderful and one of the silent Beach in Goa. also having jungle safari and adventure to reach this place from the parking area
It was just awesome ❤️🔥
Its my all time Favorite beach ⛱️🏖️😇-@soorja_63
Hidden gem in south goa..u can go by local sharing ferry from Palolem beach (make sure to bargain) even via ferry u can choose the option to see dolphins 🐬 and we got a chance to see them (amazing experience). Butterfly beach is so beautiful and the view is so scenic and its very very less crowdy. Actually the whole south goa beaches are less crowdy, with clean water and beaches. Dont miss the chance to visit this place.
Totally worth the trek. There is pay parking facility available for four wheelers at 100₹.Two wheeler can take you to the beach almost. Making it walkable 2 min distance.
At its worst in 2020 like rest of the year. Will recommend not to put too mich effort to visit the place.Place is crowded, not at all clean, full of trash.
Must visit❤
Beautiful beach. Slightly secluded. Accessible either by a 1.5 km trail or by the boats from palolem. Good place for a quick swim and fun with friends
Most peaceful and private beach in Goa!!
Beautiful beach😍
Like an mystery journey ❤❤❤❤😘
Butterfly beach in south Goa has become quite a hotspot in recent times. Initially the beach was only accessible by a boat ride from Palolem or Agonda beach. Now we have a trail that goes into the forest where a scooter or a bike can easily take you close to 50 meters from the beach. A 5min hike from there will take you to the beach. There is only a single trail so there are no chances of you getting lost. The road access begins from the leopard valley club. The boat ride is a safer and a much better way to get here as this spot has always been in talks for dolphin spotting so you might get lucky and see some dolphins on the way. There’s a little hillock on the left of the beach maybe 50m high which has rocks and it gives you a birds eye view of the beach. If you visit early morning then you can have the entire beach for yourself. Please do not litter this beach as the access is difficult there is no means to remove the trash that people leave behind. Occasionally the beach is cleaned by few volunteers and nature lovers.
Hidden cove with a narrow stretch of beach. You can access it with a bit of trekking or take you bike on off-roads. Cana lso be visited via a boat excursion from Agonda beach.
Located in the southern part of Goa.The water here is so very clean, the beaches are fantastic! To reach here you have to get on to a ferry and they tour you around few bleaches in the area which include butterfly beach, honeymoon beach and few more. Many tourists come here for kayaking, wonderful experience!Butterfly beach is the abode of numerous beautiful butterflies. Also when the seashore widens, the beach is littered with crabs and goldfishes. And this beach is more-or-less secluded. So, one can expect the beautiful creatures to be enjoying themselves in a carefree manner. The sunsets in this part of Goa are so very unique and beautiful!Wonderful place to be !!
