Nice local family owned Indian (dots, not feathers) store that surprisingly has a good selection of groceries, ready to eat snacks, frozen food, fresh veggies and sweets. They carry better brands than Swad (Patel Brothers brand). You can also find pooja items, trinkets, and freshly home made snacks. Reasonably priced store that is on Rt 59 with decent parking.

Im never disappointed when I shop at this supermarket. All products are always fresh. Reasonably priced. Always clean. The customer care staff is very accommodating and strives to serve every customers interests.

Paradise for indian snacks.. good variety of merchandise and many authentic brands that you will not find in patel brothers.. ps4, grand sweets, chettinad etc.The south indian gravies in the refrigerator are top notch and prepared every Saturday

I have been this store so many times but never observed the receipt, one day I checked it, I took 3 snack items but the lady in this store added 4 instead of 3. So I never trust, please check your receipts once in a while.

Excellent customer service. Knowledgeable staff and a convenient location. I always find what Im looking for so I assume they are almost always completely stocked. They also have reasonable and competitive pricing. Along with an online grocery store they also have home delivery available, an option that none of the other Indian grocery stores in the area offer. The quality of the food items was great. Overall it was a nice experience and would order from them again.

I normally don’t do lot of reviews. Just wanted to post my experience as I don’t want anyone to go thru the same. We ordered some items in April for home delivery. First thing we had to contact many times before the items got delivered after more than a week. Tomatoes, half of the lime,Opo were spoiled. I had to throw the suji packet, it was moist inside. Please check your items when they deliver or if you do curbside just to make sure everything is alright. Thanks anyway for delivering the items during critical time.

I’ve been coming here very often. However, I never got to try the all you can eat shop from here. I have to be very honest I am a very picky eater especially when it comes to Indian food. I am Indian so I grew up on Indian food and I lived in India for until I was 12 years old. Having said all that, they did a very good job with the food. First of all it’s all you can eat so that’s a plus and unlike other buffets the food is made to order. In addition to that, the prices for that Indian grocery are far cheaper than the surroundings. For example, I buy these noodles called Maggie and at Patel brothers for the pack that I buy it’s six dollars. Here, that same exact pack cost $4.Anyway, don’t take my word for it… Go try it out

The shop is loaded with very unique items that are traditionally to south India as well as north India . It was just like buying our groceries from our bhaiya / anna shop at our hometown...

Be watchful of what you buy here. Some of the food items on the shelf are beyond Best By date. I have seen this more than once in the store & I have pointed out to them repeatedly. They give the excuse that the product is not expired and it is only a Best By date.

A nice indian grocery store and chat buffet is a cherry on the cake. Pindi Chana on Saturday morning are delicious and HOT. Make sure you order ahead and pick up by 11AM, that doesnt hold until noon.

We get many South Indian products like palm jaggery (karuppatti), Krishna sweet mysurpa, Athirasam etc.

Had a bad exp with the snack items. Got three diff types but all tasted like it was fried in some bad oil. Got two chicken puffs and they too tasted greasy and had a bad oil stink and taste. Ended up getting stomach infections.

Good for items, poor for service.You do get typical items you expect in an Indian grocery store.Plus I like the fact they only sell vegetarian items.However, I am very skeptical of any Indian store that lists items in the bill as Item 1, Item 2 etc.There is no good reason to do this but to fool the customer, while getting around the law to provide an itemized bill.It is easy to overcharge for an item or add an extra item to the list. The customer also loses the chance to compare the price of the item against competition.Other than that the old person typically seen running the place needs to be more patient and courteous to customers.I have seen him multiple times show his impatience when a customer is still looking for credit card, or fumbles with something.For these reasons I would currently not recommend this place to anyone.

It is one thing to not meet ones expectations but to totally fail to deliver the bare minimum is unacceptable.The stores website advertised PAV BHAJI being an option for the ALL YOU CAN EAT CHAAT BUFFET put conveniently said no when they were asked about it. The timings for the buffet were till 8:30 but even when we reached at 7 - they were already out of stuff to make the CHAATS.The owner was rude and unapologetic about the whole situation and all the food was served cold. Giving it a 1 star because it wasnt possible to post this review by giving it no stars.

Very bad experience, bought a bag of rice Lakshmi sona masoori rice. As we normally do, we transferred into our box. Little did we realize the bag of rice had something that came for free. Yes, worms people. We trashed the rice bag after transferring its contents. Now when I called to complain about this, balaji groceries refuse to accept and asking for the proof - empty rice bag. Atrocious and irresponsible. The guy on the phone was also very rude.Ill also raise a formal complaint with food safety department of Naperville. If they are storing groceries in unhygienic conditions they are putting the health of its customers, especially pregnant women and children at risk. I would have given a ZERO star if it is available.
