Amazon fresh is easy to shop, A breeze to check out, they have all the familiar products you’re used to and some new ones, I was impressed by how clean the store is customer service was very good I was approached by two staff members and asked if I needed any help you don’t get that another corporate chains. The meat and fish were fresh and prices were similar to the competition, giant clean salad bar was really good fresh baked goods were delicious. The vegetables were priced right and in good condition, no squishy items at all . The high tech shopping carts are cool . This was the Naperville store I shopped, on RT 59 .

First time in Amazon Fresh, really enjoyed it. Clean well maintained store.

A trendy grocery store. They have a huge variety of fruits and vegetables which I couldn’t find it other grocery stores. But their packaged item prices were not competing to the others. Their deli section was great. They had multiple cuisine foods that are quite decent and good price too.

They really didn’t have a whole lot of things in stock. The store was pretty clean and not too crowded. I do like the idea of an Amazon store, however and i hope more of these keep popping up.

I was excited about seeing this store but here are a few things that really didnt make it anything special.1.) The shopping carts are interesting and cool in how you can use it to purchase products. However the con here is that the shopping card is small and you only get two small bags to fill and you cant overfill them. So this cart is really good for a quick trip to grab a small amount of items. After youre ready to check out you still have to go to a designated area to ensure that everything is accounted for in your cart.2.) There isnt a lot of organic or gluten free options which is very surprising considering Whole Foods is a sister store.3.) Prices arent all that much better than other places.Bottom line, it feels more like a gimmick than really bringing any value to your life. Go into any other store you can grab a few things and then just go into the self check out area.

Really cool and technologically-advanced store with the carts that check out your items as you put them in once you connect your Amazon account. Produce looked fresh and the hot bar/salad bar and ready made meals were impressive! Very clean store as well. What really stood out to me though and prompted me to leave a review was the exceptional customer service from the employees! As soon as we entered, the greeter was friendly and bubbly! From the aisle clerks to the cashier and baggers, everyone was so nice and polite--they didnt seem like they hated being there at all which is a sign of good management! Keep up the great work at this location!

It’s great if you need something small and you’re in the area or are leaving the gym and need a few things. I like most of their “house brands.” I wouldn’t go here to do my primary grocery shopping for a few reasons, though.1. Stock replenishment is nearly always lacking because of the high volume of online orders for pickup and delivery.2. Swarming with employees. They’re friendly, but if it comes to it they will mow you down for the sake of the online order they’re fulfilling.3. Dash cart is neat, but it needs to be on a smaller scale. I wanna run in and grab a red onion and a package of chicken and run out. I don’t wanna have to sign into a MASSIVE SHOPPING CART to do that.4. If you opt to not use a Dash Cart, there are no self checkouts. You must wait for the (usually) 1 person on register.5. No Apple Pay! Or android pay! Or other contactless payments.

Interesting store. Not as innovative as one might expect from Amazon, but playing around with the dashcart, while not the most practical due to its size, sure is fun.The store is laid out well, looks and feels quite modern, but the hundreds of cameras hanging from the ceiling have a somewhat offputting effect. Also, their selection is fairly limited.

Me and my wife had some shopping to do so we dicided to try this store we were walking around minding our own business and a employee came up to us and ask my wife to put a mask on and she told the worker she has breathing issues and they told her they have to escort her out

Its a new experience using dash cart. It has sensors and camera around the dash cart. It does a good job in identifying things that u add or remove to the cart. There are alexa devices around the floor to help you find items. I wish alexa was built in to the cart itself. You need to have amazon account to use dash cart. After shopping you just need to go out through the dash cart lane and you are all done. They have traditional carts and checkout lines too.

In the most technologically advanced store in the country, the least technologically advanced restroom . There are not even sensors at all.4 stars for technology. But the store itself is not very good yet. The assortment is scarce, at the entrance there is a person who helps to figure out how it all works, but even he did not find the QR code in the menu the first time so I could start shopping. The interface is not intuitive. Not all products were identified at the first try. At the exit from the store, there was some kind of technical error, so I also had to call an employee.I would rate it 3 stars, but I will add one because this is something new and generally comfortable.

This was my first trip to the store. They have special carts that scan the items as you put them in the cart. This done via using your Amazon app. Once you are done shopping you just walk out with your cart through a special lane where there is no checkout person. Definitely a unique experience.

Would be better if the Amazon fresh store shoppers werent in every aisle.

Really loved it! This is a very nice store. Honestly they had a great selection of food, all their produce was fresh. They had amazing cart so you could skip the check out line and their kids carts were adorable ❤️.Everyone was nice and the store was very clean. Even the buffet/salad area, it was well stocked and very clean which was nice to say. One of the ladies working even stopped to talk to my son and gave me very helpful tips about the checkout carts and prime 35$free delivery.Also their pizza at the deli area is soooo good.Good 👏 job 👏 amazon👏My standards were high when you opened the store and you crushed them 😁

Prices are similar to other, local grocery stores. The scanner in the cart is a neat concept but meant for quick shopping trips and not for full grocery trips for a family of four or more.The uniqueness of Fresh is, like most other grocery stores, in the fresh food section like the deli, soup and salad bar, and ready to eat section.Since prices are pretty much the same as grocery stores that are much closer to me, Im not sure Ill be visiting an Amazon Fresh location any time soon.However, the staff was very friendly and demonstrated how to use the smart cart for checking out items. They also offered help throughout the store and were courteous.I feel the real benefit of Fresh is being able to order online as a Prime member and having curbside pickup or delivery included with Prime.

This place used to be occupied by Dominicks before they got out of business from the Chicagoland area. It used to be huge, bright and inviting. I am a frequent online Amazon customer and I was expecting to be impressed. Not anywhere close to what Dominicks used to look like and offer. Prices are on the expensive side although some sales were good. Felt unusually small (where did the space go?) and on the darker side. Customer service is great. Welcoming staff and very friendly cashiers. Plenty of parking in the surrounding huge plaza.Unfortunately, I cant say that Id drive about 4 miles from home to shop here unless I happen to be nearby and that I am aware of some good sale going on. Otherwise, nearby grocery stores offer much more value.

Store is clean, well lit, and easy to get around. It wasnt overly pricey, but not the least expensive option either. My 8 yo loved the scanning feature on the cart. The produce we bought was not fresh.

Amazon fresh is OPEN! Went there this morning (12/10/20) and it was an unbelievable experience. I received warm greetings from every employee that I passed and they were extremely helpful by showing how the new Dash Carts work. I would highly recommend using the Dash Carts because you do not need to use a checkout line and everything is electronically added to your total cost the moment you place an item in your cart. If you prefer not to use these carts then they have regular shopping carts and check out lines as well. At the moment, it is a challenge finding a close parking spot so plan ahead.

Very clean and nice store. The produce was great quality. We bought steaks and they were also very good quality cuts and quality meat.

Science and technology-rich shopping cart is very pleasant surprise, shopping environment is a bit of a rush, service person are very cordial, commodity prices are also very friendly (grand open), the shortage is the variety of goods to be enriched! Recommended.

Amazon doesnt have everything we need, but the staff maintains a clean well stocked store.

We went to check it out. Lots of Fresh employees bagging online orders for pick up or delivery. Fresh produce looked good. Smaller boxes of items seem to abound. Not everything we would buy was available. Its a great idea if you dont have the time to shop yourself.

I returned a couple items, a pair of shoes and a pair of pants, over here as was advised by Amazon since it was designated an Amazon return location. The person who accepted my returns at the returns counter at this location said I will receive a confirmation email shortly that the items have been returned, which I did. But a couple weeks later I got an email from Amazon that said the shoes were never received and I will get charged for not receiving them. I checked the return status of both items and found that the return for the pants was sent back and completed, but the shoes were never sent back nor received by Amazons return facility. The only conclusion I can come to is someone over there at the returns counter kept the shoes, because it went from my hands directly to the return counter, unless someone hijacked it enroute. I never had this problem when I returned Amazon items to a Kohls location and the first time I was asked to return it to one of Amazons own facilities, Ive had my first disappointing experience.

Wow, this store is phenomenal! So clean, and modern and the produce is outstanding. Whether shopping online for pickup or in-store myself, Im never disappointed. Great assortments, tasty deli and hotbar, friendly staff, I love every visit.

Opening day review. As crowded as it was there still may have been more Amazon employees than actual customers. There are 2 EV Chargers as well as multiple pick up parking spaces. The most unique item to the store are the optional Dash shopping carts. These enable you to, basically, put items in your cart and not have to go through the usual check out scenario when you are done shopping. Because you have to scan your app before using, the shopping cart knows who you are. It then uses cameras and a scale to monitor what is being put in and taken out of your cart. After shopping you go through a quick checkout process almost like Costco where they eyeball the items in your cart and make sure nothing is amiss. Your Amazon account is then automatically charged for your items which is a good thing because there is a 5% savings by using your Amazon card.Another unique item are the Alexa stations through the store. They can be asked where items are located, including bathrooms.The store is also another Amazon online pickup/return location. It also has a few Amazon products on display and for sale which is nice.Ok, other than these unique bits, is it a better or less expensive store? Well, no. Aside from a $5 chicken, like Costco, I didnt see any lower prices on anything. Prices looked more inline with whole foods. This makes sense as they own whole foods and margins there are much higher than, say, Jewel... So if youre looking for low prices, go to Walmart, Costco or Aldi. If youre looking for a higher tech whole foods, come here.

Its nice scanning in and leaving, sometimes you can find good deals here that you just cant pass up.

The Amazon cart is amazing! It tracks all items placed in the cart. I would say the store is a lower cost version of Whole Foods...but not with the vast variety for plant based foods.

Not alot to chose from, seems like its mostly for people picking up. The aisle were full of order pickers. I was under the impression it was more of a fresh produce store and it wasnt at all and the prices were high.

Couldn’t be happier with Amazon fresh, the food is great, the two hour delivery window is fantastic. It saves gas and time having to shop yourself and delivery is free if you order for $35 or more what you usually probably do when you go to a grocery store. If you have Amazon fresh near you you’d be foolish not to try this excellent service. Amazing fresh is doing this right. The packaging is fantastic the way they take care of cold and frozen food. VERY SATISFIED- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Its a nice store, prepared food are pretty good, sometimes great. But this is basically an amazon fulfillment location, lots of store employees filling orders, chatting with each other. Love the automated carts for checkout, people working there are very very helpful. Nice produce department.

This started out as a great service. And the home delivery has been top notch. Packaging better than any store, including thermal wrappers to keep freezer and refrigerated food cold. And free if you spent $35. And typically a two hour window if you ordered early in the day. Great, right?! It WAS. Past tense. Now you need to order two days ahead (even if you pick up at curb), and there’s a fee, no matter what you spend - a few even to pick up at the curb! Thanks but no thanks. It was nice while it lasted, but no more.

The produce section is amazing. I would go just for that but the seafood and fresh meat are also good. I would have liked to see more organic shelf groceries. But Im glad I can do entire shopping in one store. They do have name brands for most things. Bakery is good to. I will return for sure even though its far from me. Try it, you wont regret it.

Automatic checkout is amazing. The app integration and prime member discounts make the trip worth it. The deli section is great ( dont go there hungry, You will sensorly overload) with impressive variety. Online ordering is a snap! I like going through the aisles checking out whats there. The best socially distanced market you could go through with excellent covid protocols. I feel very safe and supported shopping here! The staff is always available to assist and are very knowledgeable of the products.

Decided to try amazon fresh home delivery that comes with amazon prime benefits. Ordered a few items (7), chose free 2 hour delivery option. Was promised delivery between 3 and 5PM. Got email at 6:20 saying the following:Hello Mark,We were unable to deliver your order to the address below. As a result, we’ve cancelled your order and will issue a refund. We are sorry for the inconvenience.And just like that I was left hanging without my items that I expected for making dinner, and not even able to leave a feedback for failed order. After contacting amazon support I was told that there was nothing they can do. I could choose between refund or re-delivery next day between 11 and 12AM.UPDATE: Contacted higher tier of customer service, items got delivered same day at 9:20 PM, couple of items were unavailable though.

Oh my stars! The best sushi Ive had at a grocery store and the prices are even better. You can find there some Amazon best sellers as well. They have the scan and go service. I plan to visit often.

Clean and well organized store, very large selection, quality/fresh produce, good selection at the bakery and ready-to-eat food (sushi/pizza/...), good/competitive prices ... plus, you get Amazon points when shopping there.

Nice clean grocery store. Prices are competitive for the most part. Fresh cut fruit is expensive here so I would suggest getting it from a different store. Nice selection of Japanese snacks which is a plus for us. A lot of people were saying the carts are too small but they have regular carts as well as the dash carts which are meant for short trips.

Bad prices. Bad selection.When I worked here they throw 1,000 of lbs of food away just to open a grocer store. Pretty sickening. There pizza is horrible. They throw whole pizzas away without giving it to the employees after sitting for an hour. What a joke. Amazon needs to stop trying to take over everything.

First time coming here, and i was not disappointed! We did the Dash Pass with adding items into the cart and it scanning it on its own was a cool feature. I was pleased at the variety of items they had, but stiff was flying off the shelves. The checkout process was quick and literally almost 0 to no contact with people at all! Will be coming soon.

We ordered delivery from this store multiple times last year prior to the storefront being opened. Each time, quality was great. Ever since the store opened, every delivery order has been horrible. Rotten strawberries, smashed bread in the the same bag as heavy cans and bottles, punctured tomatoes, and packaged food consistently 2 days from expiration.

I do enjoy this store however I prefer to go when the store isnt crowded. I noticed that they have several shoppers in the aisles filling orders and that for me can be distracting while trying to locate items. I would also like to see this store have a better sales ad. Overall I will be back.

It was amazing and hasslefree experience. We walked in and amazon fresh employees helped us out by offering to give a quick demo. Seafood section was surprise and delight for us. Best for short trips as we are limited to one cart and 2 shopping 🛍 in it. Will go again !!!

Allot to like about this store, the layout, the quality and range of produce, the bakery, the overall cleanliness. Its great for a quick run in, run out shop. In docked one star because the quick carts are annoying sometimes and there are times when there are more Amazon shoppers than general pop so it feels like youre in the Amazon wearhouse. Ill go back for their own brand brookies and tortilla chips alone.

This place is kind of neat. It was pretty busy and a bit crowded but still easy to navigate. The dash cart was convenient. The meat area was a little low stocked. Prices are average. The customer service is wonderful. The employees were quick to clean a dash cart and helpful at the check out. I had a bag rip in the parking lot and Heather helped retrieve the items. I carton of eggs broke and she got a replacement for me. She was sweet and friendly. My only criticism is that the dash cart bag does not have handles.

We go here because my kids like playing with the Alexa Dash cart. The tech is pretty amazing. The staff is also very friendly and the prices are consistent with other local grocery stores.

This store is not really that great. It’s okay for a quick run to the store for a missed item. The new cart is super annoying. So sensitive and it turns a quick run for a couple items to a slow motion shop so the cart don’t beep. Stay away from the cooked kitchen or fresh fish area. I had multiple occasions with food that was bad and not eatable. They need to seriously exam their fresh food produce that they prepare. Husband came back with Salmon and it was definitely not fresh. He still made it and regrets it now. I bought fried chicken another time and it was raw on the inside. Not to mention the other foods that were bad. Stay away from any fresh foods they offer or prepare. Seems like they don’t take quality and Safety serious. It’s getting annoying to keep going back there with bad food to return. Definitely makes me want to shop somewhere else. Big hype for low quality. Big flop on our experiences.

0% recommend shopping here. To start, things are way overpriced, especially produce. The workers fly around like crazy filling their carts for the online orders; 2 of them nearly hit me they were zooming so fast. They also themselves don’t follow the one way signs for the aisles, which contributes to the chaos and them nearly running you over. Came here midday on a weekday, can’t imagine what this insane place would be like during an actual busy shopping time.

Overall pretty good but pretty unmemorable with exception to the fancy carts that you can shop with. I was expecting either better pricing or better selection or both. At this point of time I cant find a compelling reason to go there again. Not that anything was bad but nothing was great

This store was very high tech. The prices were average but it was clean.

I started coming recently because its close to where I live. Its clean and things run pretty well. Prices are hit or miss, have to watch. If you want to use the automated shopping carts you are limited to how much can fit in the cart which is kind of small.

The store is very clean and nicely organized. We utilized the dash carts which were very undersized for our trip, and more work than we thought they would be. We were unable to reorganize the items in the cart without triggering the system which created stress that didnt need to be there. Outside of the dash cart it was a great experience.

Pickup for online order was very easy. Looked at other items on the store & liked the selections made available in-store too.
