We came across this hidden gem after a stroll through downtown Naperville and boy are we glad we did! Their pistachio gelato had whole pieces of pistachio and was the best we’ve had in Illinois! Their fruit flavors are so perfectly done, strong fresh flavor but not overly sweet! The staff was also very friendly! I also loved the presentation and designs on the different gelato flavors! We definitely will be returning

Had this for dessert and it was AMAZING!!! The amount of flavors and creative and seasonal flavors was just amazing. Great service and team environment the staff was quick to offer tasting and giving out ideas to help make sure hard decisions on such great flavors. Its a must try when you are in town.

Delicious as usual. Given the summer time, the line was out the door. There wasn’t a clear mask Policy, but most people were respectful of space while in line. Two things we found out: have weekday specials and 2% of either the sale or the profits go to charity!Update: they have a butter beer flavor (from Harry Potter!) and it is SOOO GOOD!! Definitely worth a try if you go.

The place can get crowded but they try to be efficient.Lot of different flavors to offer. They have multiple signs posted about nut allergy. Just let them know and they will make sure to inform you about which gelatos is made in peanut oil, such as the chocolate gelato.Really delicious gelatos. Every week day they have some deals going on, such as on Tuesday they have buy 2 and get 1 free. Must visit place when in Naperville.

I think this place is overrated. The gelatos are too sweet and we could taste like there are some artificial flavorings added in them. Even my 4 year old could not finish the single scoop. It was just too sweet. Ice cream hunt continued.

Price: its generally a little overpriced due to the location of the store as well as the quality of the products. However one could argue that with the variety of flavors offered to the customers, it maybe worth it if you are into frozen treats.Quality: no doubt about it. The quality is great. As stated, they have multiple varieties of gelatos including pineapple, smores, birthday cake, and even pistachios with actual nuts.Service: the employees are well attentive to the customers and are very well mannered, kind, and sociable. A great selection of gelato!

My sister and I went here for the first time last Sunday and we had such a great experience! Not only was the gelato delicious (and having so many great flavors to choose from) - but the service was just wonderful!! Starting from the warm welcome from Daren and the cheerful vibes he gave. Daren also mentioned there was another location on the Riverwalk in Chicago about 1 mile from my house!!! Ill be visiting this location very soon. Thanks Daren!!

What a cute little store with beautiful interior selling delicious gelatos. The staff were so friendly, generously offering us tasters before we decide which gelatos we want to settle on.The Gelato colors were beautiful and the tastes were great too. Sometimes Gelatos can be a bit dry and not creamy enough, but this Gelato had the right balance.Great to know that there is a convenient spot to enjoy Gelatos after dinner in the heart of Naperville downtown!

Best gelato I’ve ever had. The customer service was phenomenal. So many choices but I got the biscoff one and was licking the cup. Very creamy and rich. Make sure you eat it fast because it melts quickly. Will definitely go back and try other flavors. If you haven’t tried this place, you are missing out big time!

However, their best quality is the customer service—always friendly and very kind to my kids when we visit.The gelato is simply amazing, and they have an interesting assortment, as they will often test out experimental flavors to survey what customers think. This is a great approach to service. Overall, this is my winner for quality gelato in Naperville!

Staff aren’t wearing masks anymore and there is no indication if they are vaccinated. Makes for an uncomfortable environment and shows lack of concern over customer comfort, especially when every single customer in there was wearing a mask.

I loved the gelato so much I went 2 times in one day! My fav out of all of the gelato is the espresso chip! The style of the place is so nice and the employees are just amazing!!!

Good good gelato shop in DT Naperville. They have many flavors of gelato and sorbets. There are even 2 flavors of no sugar added. We got 2 smalls and it was about $8.Sea salt caramel was good. Dark chocolate was rich. Would recommend this place. Especially on nice summer days and nights.

This place is a hit with our family of four. Weve been here twice in two weeks because our kids enjoy it so much. In our most recent visit, the staff was hit with a mad rush out the door and they did not falter. They were on top of things from tastings to servings and making sure things were clean. I was really impressed since there were only two of them. They were busy and still maintained a friendly attitude. Well done!The selection of flavors and items is pretty good. Weve tried various flavors in cones and dishes and havent been disappointed yet. Weve also had their Gelattes and they are great too. I look forward to trying a Granita soon and maybe taking a cake home. Everything looks good.

Best gelato I have every had other than the real deal I Italy. They make everything homeade no fake stuff here. They have lots of variety and let you test taste any flavor you want. Extremely nice service. I would eat dessert here every night if I could!

The gelato was so creamy and flavorful. The workers were also very friendly and accommodating as well. My friends had trouble deciding what flavors to get for their drinks but the workers were very patient and explained all the options so that my friends could decide on what they wanted. It was an overall pleasant experience and I look forward to visiting again sometime.

Wouldnt let me have two flavors in small cup. Said their policy is you can have more than one flavor in medium and above. Makes no sense. I dont want to have more than a small. No extra work for them especially since they hand out free samples. Lost a customer

This place is so cute! Inside this little shop is gorgeous and dont even get me started on the gelato!! Every flavor I have tried has been soo yummy and really true to what the name is. Their sorbets are light and delicious and even the gelato itself doesnt taste or sit heavy in your stomch. My favorites are the vanilla, raspberry sorbet, and the strawberry sorbet!! The strawberry especially is freaking amazing!!! My family and I have been slowly making our way through the flavors and we can honestly say that all of them are good even if they are not our favorite. If you are interested in having a different icecream experience, please please please check this place out!!!

Ive eaten way too much ice cream and this is BY FAR one of the best Ive eaten! Ive visited other Countrys that sell authentic gelato, this is more authentic then authentic. If you love ice cream or want something refreshing to eat then youve struck a gold mine. -5 stars

This place is amazing, I go here every once in a while and the staff are always super friendly and get your order done quickly and well. The gelato and coffee are superb.

Beware of the way they scoop the gelato in the containers. They only fill the sides and top but leave a hole in the middle. I purchased quart and pricy.. almost $15 and it was definitely not a full quart when I scooped into it. Also, after eating it I got sick. Thought it was a fluke but same thing happens after my son ate it later that night. It went in the garbage. What a rip!!!!

Amazing! Real gelato and sorbet! Not ice cream, seriously better healthier and more intense in flavor. The flavors are like the distilled essense of the thing. There was a line out the door, but it was worth the wait. The sizes are smaller but a good portion. I recommend not getting multiple scoops the flavors might mix well, but the original flavor was masterfully created and cant be much improved.

The amount of flavor choices just isnt right! This gelato should be its own food group! So happy Sweet Home Gelato came to Naperville.
