Poor quality lumber. Most not usable, and remember, the lumber you use is a reflection on you and your business. Oh, if you want to return it, you have to pay for the truck, “ which is more than the delivery. Steer clear of this place.

Great Service and good quality lumber. I would choose to go here over a Home Depot any day of the week. The ability to drive right up to the lumber Vs loading the lumber on to a cart and then loading onto my vehicle is much easier.

Was at the store at 5:09 pm on Thursday 9/9/20 to place a $5,000 order with 84 Lumber in Naperville, IL when someone from the store came out to the parking lot tell me they were closed, and the posted hours are until 6:00 pm! I asked if they wanted my $5,000 order, and the manager said they had closed their system and could not help me. What business doesn’t want a $5,000 order? Their comp sales revenue must be through the roof to treat a customer like that and to turn down a huge order!! I have never had such terrible service!!

Great service and products

We partnered with 84 lumber for our son’s Eagle Scout Project. The staff (Adam) was super helpful and patient. He helped our boy breakdown the blueprint (provided by park district) and price out all the appropriate materials for the job. Coordinated pickup with us and even helped us load stuff.It’s a family-owned business and the staff really lives up to that. Super helpful, patient, and if you really check around, they are priced super competitive (or lowest price) as well. We’ll be back for our next project for sure.

Good selection, helpful staff. Was looking for materials for a non-traditional project and the guy at the front desk helped me source it out, even saved me money on delivery. I recommend 84 Lumber and I will shop there again.

The wood they sent me was not of good quality. A lot of cracks and one of the beams for the pergola that attaches to the post while we were building it broke in half as there was a big crack on it. Called them back and were not willing to replace as we have already cut the beam. Very disappointed.

No hassle phone orders 6 months ago and 2 weeks ago, today the manager answers and won’t take a phone order, reports it’s “standard operating procedure” and he wants me to come in to pay. I guess ALL my prior orders must have been in violation of corporate policy?!? Sounds more like a lazy manager to me!

Tried to do business here. Manager showed no interest in getting the order done. I canceled the order and went somewhere else and paid less. This place is not worth the stress and aggravation. Stay away!!
