If there was a zero star it would be used for my experience today September 7th 2021. I booked my appointment today and 7 hours later my car wasn’t even moved in their parking lot. They lied to me multiple times about the estimated time and blamed it on me for supposedly saying that I wanted my car to be picked up at 6 pm, which by the way doesn’t make any sense since when you book a appointment online the only options they have is “ morning, afternoon, evening, no preference “. No exact time to put down for the appointment so that’s a lie they told me. I always put ASAP and if they reply to this review and say otherwise trust me it will be another lie . And if your wondering how this ended I called at 1 pm and was told another lie that my car was next in line now that’s 5 hours after I dropped my car off at 8 am!!!!! Just for a oil change and a quick inspection. I have been to other locations and never came across this absolutely horrific service. I arrive 3 pm saw my car still in the same parking spot as when I left it at 8am and told them I ran out of time and wanted my keys. For me 7 hours is WAY to long just for it not to be even moved at all. I recommend no one go to this location and find somewhere else the multiple lies and blaming me is not a place that the general public should have to deal with.

Visiting from Michigan and noticed a possible brake problem. Called ahead, and was sqeezed in. A couple hours later brakes all clear, nothing found, yay! Only charged $10 and the staff was great!

Dropped off a wheel and tire, which had a slow leak at one of the edge weights, to have the the edge weights removed, the tire remounted, and balanced with barrel weights. I explicitly requested that when I called them, and when I dropped them off. Was told it would be done by the end of the day.Called them an hour before closing to find out the status. Told me they couldn’t balance it because the balancer wasn’t working, but would be ready the next day.The next day I called in mid afternoon, and they said it was ready, as they had taken it to another shop to get it balanced, ok fine.When to pick it up, paid them, and when they brought it out, it had a fricken edge weight! Exactly what I did not want, as those stupid things always leak (had it happen many times in the past).Another guy in the shop said he could redo it. I asked if they had a working balancer, the reply was “uh no”.No where on the work order was my explicit request that barrel weights be used.Took my wheel and tire and left. I’ll take them someplace else and get it done right. Incompetence.

If I could I would rate this place lower.. I had an appointment at 1 o’clock and they told me I would get updates on what was happening and what they were gonna do I asked them to do multiple things and do whatever they could get done. I didn’t get a single update the whole time that they had my car I was the one calling them asking them what was going on every time they told me that they were still looking at the car seeing what needed to be done, then when I called them they proceeded to tell me that the car was getting finished up on what they needed to get done I showed up hoping to pick up my car and they were still working on it!!! Just in order for them to tell me that all they did was oil change that apparently had to take seven hours to do, and then just for them to tell me that the things I asked them to fix could get done on a different day if I brought it in again. I refuse to ever bring my car to this fire stone again because it was complete waste of my time.

Renald is not being honest Ive waited for my car before and it took two hours max. Today four hours later they are still doing an inspection. B.S. your trying to meet a do other cars to make money.

Took my car Tuesday at like 12:30 for an oil change they had it ready at almost 7, thats not the problem, problem was that when I got there and went to my car I saw there was a scratch near the back wheel, I told the guy that was there and he asked the mechanic and they tried to tell me that was there already when I know it wasnt, was told manager was going to call me on Wednesday but its already Monday and nothing. Not cool smh

I called in needing new tires. Same day snow storm. Firestone was not only open, but had a great set of tires. Gave me a great affordable price and had me in and out in under 60. Worked out well. Big thanks to Mike Puccini - Manger.

This Firestone location has always been so helpful and kind. The staff is amazing and they do great work in a timely manner. I recommend them to everyone I speak to!

They do good work, but they are on the pricey side. They do also seem to be honest though, so that might be worth the extra $$

We were visiting family in Naperville and got a low air pressure alarm on our van. I called this place and they gave me an appointment that she day even though they were fully booked for the day. I dealt with both Mike and Nick and both were very courteous and professional. They discovered a screw in my tire which could not be repaired, and sold me a new tire at a reasonable. price. I would recommend this this place for fast efficient, courteous service.

Absolutely dishonest people. Nick, in particular flat out does not care about your problem and any extra questions asked are a major inconvenience to him. Brought in our car for a flat tire- ran over a pot hole. They fixed the tire. Driving the car home it was making an unusual clicking sound from where the tire was replaced. Took it back- they said they didnt see anything wrong with it but it could use an alignment. Got the alignment- took it home and still the same noise. Made the mechanic drive the car while I was in the car and he confirmed there was a noise. Did some tests and said the brakes are rusted and will cost $800. So, they conveniently found this problem after the 3rd visit?? Will not be back and if they refuse to take proper action to remedy the mess, will have to report this place to the chamber of commerce.

I had my car towed here after it died in a nearby intersection. Im always nervous that mechanics will try to rip me off, and this time I was even more nervous than usual. They had me backed into a corner since going somewhere else for a better price or second opinion wouldve involved another tow truck ride.I left my car there Sunday afternoon. Monday morning they called me with a price. After consulting the internet and the mechanically inclined men in my life, I realized the price was actually very good.Four stars because they forgot to call me when my car was ready. They started working on it around 9am, so at the end of the day I was surprised that I hadnt heard anything and called for an update. They realized the oversight and apologized. My schedule was flexible that day, so it wasnt a big deal.I cant speak much to the quality of the work, because the number of things I understand under the hood of a car is rather small. Ill update this review if I have any related problems.I would bring my car here again. Thanks Firestone!

I have never had an issue with my car repairs and maintenance service here, and Mike and Ismael are always friendly and personable. (((-;

I took a tire in for repair that was covered by a road hazzard protection plan. Everything went well until I got the bill home and looked at it. The protection plan was not applied properly and I was charged for a percentage of a new tire when I should have not been charged at all. However, I called the store and the error was corrected right away. I have been going to this location for over 20 years and have had a great overall experience.

Quick tips: always check on their website for coupons. There is usually a discounted oil change, and some kind of Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter Check-up that will get you a basic check + tire rotation for $10.Recently moved to the area and went to this Firestone for the first time (had previously gone to the same Firestone in Chicago). Had brakes done and the price was very reasonable using a coupon form their website. This Firestone was able to machine/resurface my rotors as opposed to replacing them (which other shops insisted on doing).A few weeks later the tech that helped me the first time called to let me know about a tire sale. Not only was there about a 20% discount but there was a $140 mail in rebate. The $140 rebate card came a few days ago...the rebate process was actually not horrible like some can be. Really like the place and was surprised by the level of service and them trying to find me a deal.

Im only giving it 2 stars because of the good customer service when I entered. I took almost 3 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. I left and there was one car in front, I came back and theyre working on two other cars. It wasnt until I showed up that my vehicle went back. I had an appointment..wow.

The place absolute worse. It should not take 2 hours to change 4 tires. There was no one in the shop before me. I came here to get my winter tires put on and I was here for two hours. Thought it was just a fluke. I am back today to get my all seasons put back on and again in here for 2 hours. I came to this place because it was close to my house. I will never come here again!

I have to say this place really took advantage of an inexperienced, 21 year old college kid, who put his faith in them to do right by him. They charged him nearly $800 to replace a brake caliper that was leaking. They also charged him to replace the brake rotor, which was only a few months old because it was covered in fluid! Really? ever hear of brake cleaner? Ok the piston seal blew, its easier to swap the caliper than replace it but there was nothing wrong with the rotor!They also told him he needed new rear brakes. They were about a year old. I installed them myself so I was surprised to hear they needed replacing... I took it apart and looked at them, and as expected the rear brake were perfect, and hardly worn as you would expect out of 12 month old rear brakes.I commend the kid for trying to be independent but boy did he get hosed. They should be ashamed...

This shop does not honor their own warranties. Get your car fixed literally anywhere else.

Went in with what I believed was a bad thermostat. Told them I wanted to clear the check engine so if that wasnt the issue I wanted to resolve the check engine light. Got a call, all replaced good to go, no light. Get there get in car, check engine light is immediately on. Go back and speak to Nick who says they can check it out tomorrow for a $99 diagnostic fee. I said I asked you to fix the issue and he said, as he clearly didnt care, that they fixed what I asked them to fix. Again I asked that they fix the check engine light, and I believed it was a thermostat. What did I just pay for? They either decided that they would do the repair and didnt bother to check the engine light or they botched the repair, but I guess I wont know until I have it run somewhere else for a diagnostic because they couldnt even give me the courtesy of doing so to help me figure it out. Thanks Firestone glad youre in my neighborhood.

My car had trouble starting. I took it here and they said nothing is wrong. I took to dealership the next day and had to get a new starter and a new battery. I will not be going back here

Just had one rear right tire replaced and the psi setting for merc cla 2016 after the tire change was out of proportion. Left side front and rear setting of 42 and right front and rear setting of 46. Its way off what merc recommends and the psi setting is listed on the door side. The psi before the change was perfect except for the flat tire.

Ive been getting my vehicles serviced here for over 20 years and have had very few issues with the service. When I have, it gets resolved quickly and with a smile.

When a repair item was going to be very expensive, this shop suggested 2 alternatives that were less costly, including going to another repair facility that would have special equipment that could do the job for a third of the cost. Very professional and it makes me want to come back to Firestone in Naperville.

Good place for tires and service. The deals can get made if you ask.

You MUST Read this i will save your money!!This place its full of scam . I went there chang engine oil and guy came saying you have mutiple problem your car we can inspect car for free i said ok and i went outside talk on the phone i saw my car sitting outside parkinglot for an hour and then guy cane in saying you have to change main computer system that we can fine out what kinda problem your car have and offer me $1500 dollars(?) i simply knew it is scam so i ask them..before that i wanna ask u something.. I am going to get the emission test..will i be fail? If i dont change? He said yes!! You would never pass if u dont do it...i said ok..and just left there whiout change it and then i straight to go get my emission test and pass it so i ask guy.. Do i need to change that abs computer system order to pass this test? He said what are you talking about this is nothing to do with your abs or electrical prblem..

I thought they were nice. Our car broke down. THEY had it towed for us by axel towing in sugar grove. They did damage to our truck. We didnt find this out until we got home because it was dark when we picked it up. They did 700.00 worth of work on our car and it broke down 2 days later same problem. I took it to the firestone in tiney park (wonderful people). They fixed it the correct way. I contacted manager at the naperville office and he was willing to help us with the tow truck people.He was going to get them to take care of this and he would make sure that none of the firestones used this company(his words). All of a sudden they are not responsible and they will not help us. Of course I have gotten a lawyer (i many within work to pick from) and am going to make sure that everyone knows this particular office and tow company I would steer clear. Tinley Park people honest and wonderful. Naperville enter at your own risk. You have been warned.

Dropped a car off to diagnose a heater fan that did not work. The internet said it was a common issue and that the a resistor would need to be replaced. I asked them what it would cost to diagnose it, they told me $30. Ok.Sandy told me I had burned wires, and they had another Dodge Durango with the same problem. She said Id need a new wiring harness and the cost would be $700-800 dollars.Before bringing it in I had looked at the resistor and the wires to it, neither looked burned. I wasnt sure the resistor was bad so I though it would be worth paying a diagnostic fee. I asked if she was sure, and she assured me she looked at the burned wiring harness and it needed to be replaced. She quoted an additional 120 to replace the resistor.I paid the diagnostic fee and picked the car up. I went to the Dodge dealer and bought the resistor for,, $20.. It simply plugs in very much like a fuse.They were devious and dishonest. I will not go back.

Talked to them on phone and the guy had no idea you had to change an oil plug gasket/washer he didn’t even know the name of it for a new Volkswagen not even going to waste the gas to drive here

Had an appointment with them at 4 oclock, walked into the parking lot at 5 oclock and they hadnt even started.

Do not get the Firestone credit card. We had proof from our bank that it was paid on time and they wanted to charge us hundreds of dollars and it was a horrible, nasty hassle. We took our business elsewhere after that.
