I just want to play Minecraft and GameStop was close

I went to exchange a UNOPENED ps5 controller with the receipt and was told no by the manger KRISTEN due to the fact it was a bundled item. Keep in mind I’ve exchanged 2 games from this bundle at another location already without a single issue. She was exceptionally rude to me and my son when I asked to speak with her manger. I was told he is busy today, not available and he will call you sometime next week when he has time. When I asked for her mangers number, she told me she does not give that out. I have never been spoke to like that in any retail store in my life.For a company that is on the brink of extinction, this is no way to treat your customers! This is a GAMESTOP bundle, not a Sony one. This should be exchanged without question.You are taking advantage of you’re FUTURE CUSTOMERS by forcing them to buy extra items they don’t want or need just to get a next gen system.I know the console is hard to get, but I should choose how to spend my thousand dollars, not GameStop!From what I understand this is not the first complaint about Kristen. I have been shopping at this location for over 15 years and Have no plans to shop here ever again. Not sure how GameStop can hire such a rude and reckless employee, especially at a management position!I will also post an update if and when I get a response in the coming week(s) from her manger and In the meantime will return my the controller at another location.

I dont really like going to Gamestop all too often but Im glad that the one time I did the customer service was excellent. I really appreciate them being patient and helpful!

On December 3rd 2020 at 1pm. My fiancée and I went into a local gamestop store. The assistant manager there was exceptionally rude from the beginning of the visit to the end. She refused to sale us products and gave us much trouble for trying to exchange a Xbox that we brought to the store and trade in for a PS4. After telling us once that there was no PS4’s rudely to sale at the store, we politely asked if she could look up another location that would have it. She didn’t look at the computer and said no and refused to sell us a ps4. At that time we were open to exchanging for a game and before we could even bring it up she denied exchanging it due to the controller missing a back piece. Calling our entire XBox defected in front all the other customers there. I’ve never been treated so poorly at a retail establishment in my life. My fiancé was so upset that I had to usher him out of the store. The next day I followed up with the manger Kristen in regards to this behavior and she agreed with the protocol and treatment of her assistant manager to us and said she would follow up with the staff member not even extending so little as an apology for our treatment the day before. Despite explaining to her that we were trying to buy a product and the treatment we witnessed was the main concern. I will never go to this store again and honestly I’m appalled that Gamestop has hired such reckless employees being a customer to this business for years. Truly disappointed and this has honestly hurt the integrity of the brand for me.

Great staff always helpful and very knowledgeable for us adults who know nothing about the games these kids play and request for birthdays and holidays hahaha. Highly recommend 👍🏿

I waited 20mins in the store and no one even greeted me. Even after the cashier finished with the customer in front of me. I had to ask him for help just to tell me to look for the item on game stops website.

This place is great for buying games! PS4, Xbox, Nintendo! They have everything. The staff is very, very nice and friendly! You could have actual conversations with them! Great place to shop!

Went here one night to buy a PS4 Pro. There was only one girl working behind the counter alone. She had a pretty decent line but handled everything perfectly. She knew was she was doing and got everyone taken care of in a timely and accurate fashion. Believe her name was Kristen. So extra kudos to her!

Polite, friendly staff, answered all my questions and helped me find the gifts I wanted for my 3 kids. Knowledge of the different games from the gaming systems and the different characters. My only complaint would be that there was stuff all over the place, misplaced items that was probably due to customers picking stuff up and placing back anywhere. That made finding character specific items more difficult and time consuming. I would still go there again though, a lot of bargains.

Too short staffed and too many burnt out staff that tend to treat each task like a burden. Everytime, I had to go to this store; I always had to wait on a long line, to get anything done. Additionally, I never liked the fact that I would wait on the line and they will take everyone before me, like Im invisible even though I was waiting the longest. Moreover, the customer service can be hit or miss; sometimes youll get lucky and get a nice associate that is friendly and is willing to help you, find the gaming solutions for your needs. Otherwise, youll get a burnt out manager or assistant manager that looks dead on their feet and they treat you like a burden instead of a customer. I ended up, going to a different GameStop store for my needs because, I couldnt take the bad customer service anymore. I wish they still had the friendly associates of the electronic boutique days but, those days are over.

My go to gamestop, not that i love gamestop as a company but the staff at this location are some of the finest they have. They are more than happy to chitchat or make game recommendations. They do their jobs professionally and arent pushy like most gamestops in the area.

Customer service is fair. I wouldnt say completely excellent but I like that theyre not on your ass just to make a sale. They ask if you need help and if you dont they let you look until you do.

I go here a lot and everyone I have met here has been nothing but kind and patient. Only one time was it a little bad but it was because of a misunderstanding. This is the go to Gamestop for me.

The staff there is really helpful and has great knowledge of current systems and games. they are very friendily and treat you like your one of their own. they are willing to answer any preorder questions you have and make sure that you have ordered it if thats what you wanted. they arent pushy like other game stores and are fairly priced. they also will honer something you were told over the phone about trade in games and they always have promotions for new stuff . their stock is amazing and if you preorder something you will definitely get it. this is the only game stop i will deal with. thanks Rob and Drew, you guys are really great to the gamer community.

Store is closed on Sundays the whole day or for a certain time. Be cautious, call before you go there on a Sunday as the open hours do not coincide.
