This location is very clean and neat. The associates were warm and friendly, immediately greeting every guest. Melissa was kind and helpful. She was patient in finding different foundations to work with my skin, explaining the differences between the products. I felt very comfortable working with her and look forward to returning. She is highly skilled and thorough while sharing application techniques.

I thought it was nice that someone greeted and acknowledged me when I originally walked in. Sadly after I picked up an item I wanted to buy I had 6 different sales associates try to sell to me/ ask if I needed any help. I was quickly overwhelmed and annoyed. Someone even asked if I wanted a basket when I only had two small items in hand. After that interaction I wanted to check out immediately, even though I wanted a couple more things. As I stood at the counter waiting to be rung up, I was confused thinking why cant these associates be as quick at the check out counter as they were when I was looking for product. I saw a majority of employees just standing around talking to one another. After this experience I only want to shop online in the future, unless I require a color match for foundation.

Today I went to exchange a foundation I had ordered that I wasn’t fond of. The girl who helped me was amazing, suggested me a foundation I’m now in love with and found my perfect shade without me even having to explain exactly what I was looking for, all under 20 minutes. I’ve never had a better shopping experience at a Sephora. The ladies that work there are awesome.

The store is spacious and gets natural light during the day (a huge bonus when trying to match foundation). It carries a good selection of products and the employees are pleasant and helpful without being pushy or overbearing.

Very upsetting, I scheduled my first makeup appointment with this Sephora ahead of time for my 30th birthday and when I arrived I was advised that both makeup employees needed to go on break. Horrible customer service as they never even reached out to communicate this with me and it’s too last minute to find an appointment elsewhere!

Lilly was my makeup artist. She did a full face makeover on me and i really appreciated how much she took the time to explain to me how to apply the makeup and what works best for my skin tone so that i can learn. She did exactly what i wanted which was a smoky cat eye look. Parking was not bad here. Zinburger is close by for a quick bite. They have like everything in stock here that i wanted and need. So overall im a happy customer.

I give it 2 stars because its closer to me than the one at the palisades. You are better off getting multiple samples of foundation than being matched by one of those associates.

Ive been to this location several times to realize & verify that this particular shop does not present the brands & items of other locations. If you are looking for something specific, you should call prior to arrival in lieu of wasting your time driving there pointlessly. Staff is unfocused and unsure and unlike other locations, they NEVER have samples. My experience at Palisades Center was dramatically better by comparison. Never to return.

The sales associate Liz was so helpful and pleasant. Lol and no im not writing about myself, just the same name haha... id give her a 5 star, but the store overall id ive 4, had some great experience and some not so much... but she was wonderful.

This past Friday, I went to Sephora Nanuet, looking to spend a fair amount on some new makeup. No one ackowledged me when I walked in. The store was not particularly crowded, and there were plenty of staff on the floor. I looked around for a while and finally found the section I was looking for. I picked up a tester of foundation -- it was filthy. Makeup was dried and glommed all over the bottle, and it was covered in dirty fingerprints. Thinking that this must have been a fluke, I picked up another tester. Same thing. Every tester that I looked at was in desperate need of cleaning. The staff seemed to be having a good time hanging out with their friends, but no one really appeared to be working. In section after section, the testers were covered in makeup and finger prints. I finally found a sealed lipstick that looked like a good color, quickly paid for it and left. (I wasnt about to try it on)This store is a disaster. Since people are coming in to try on makeup, it needs to be extremely clean. If the Health Inspector walked in, the store would probably be shut down.

I love Sephora but the staff was rude at checkout telling me Sephora policies that I later found out weren’t true. Also I didn’t like that they only sold half the skus of many brands, like dr jart and tata Harper, it made shopping frustrating bc I’d see a brand but not the item I wanted. This store is a level above the kind that are in jcpenneys. Just go to the mall it’s better. They have a ton of room in the store so I’m not sure why it isn’t better stocked.

This place I went in there no one came up to me to help me I went to the front the girl saw me standing there in front and then she didnt even acknowledge that I was waiting for her to help me I walked out service was awful

Makeup Mini was fantastic and free!

It can be a hit or a miss. A lot is about timing. If you will get here when it is busy, and nobody has time for you, it will be on the miss side. But if you will come here on the days or hours the place is not full of shoppers, you will get the best experience at Sephora.

This store is really big and clean. Employees not always the most helpful though
