We live in our travel trailer year round and were concerned about our first winter. Decided to have it fitted with a skirt. Thunder Mountain came out, measured, and within 3 weeks came back out and installed it. We are beyond pleased with the customer service, and the quality of the material used. We just purchased a 5th wheel and will be giving them a call to do the skirting for it. Great product, Great service, Great price.

I had Thunder Mountain Tent and Canvas make and install a new top for my boat. Toby, I believe the owner, has exceptional customer service. My boats top turned out great, they fixed a few things on my travel cover, and did it all for a better price than the competition around. I highly recommend them.

I have been using Thunder Mountain Tent and Canvas since the late 80s. They have made a number of special order items for me during this time period. I am still using all of the aforementioned items and they are in excellent shape! The quality of the product and customer service is amazing. I have been a Marine tech in the treasure valley for almost 40 years. I have covered and uncovered thousands of boats and compared covers on all. Toby was honest and reliable and the cover I had made for my personal boat was custom fit and out of the best material offered (Top Gun) It was the best custom made cover had seen local and I was more than happy with Thunder Mountain and Tobys service And work!! It was worth the wait for my appointment to get the quality and care.

They had everything I needed. Help was superb! Prices are reasonable. Would recommend Thunder Mountain for any tent, tarps, canopies, and hardware needs.I found them online and it was a good find. They have canopy stakes and tarps you cant get at a big box store.I will shop here again Im sure.They also had Traeger (spelling?) stoves & supplies I believe, but I wasnt looking for that stuff when I went.

I would suggest choosing someone else to answer the phone. We were calling around for quotes for a big project we need done. The lady that answered sounded very annoyed and like she didn’t want to be helpful at all. Super un-personable. Before getting pricing or any further info I told her we would find a different company. Disappointing.

I had Thunder Mountain add some custom buckles and straps to my Timbuk2 messenger bag and not only did they have a very fast turnaround, reasonable prices, and excellent service, the straps have held up for over two years of daily use while Ive been at college. I have no doubt they will outlast the bag itself at the rate we are going. Excellent experience. There is no doubt in my head that I will come back in the future for any additional projects I have. A+ business!

Their service is old fashion, (for those of you who dont know what that means, its quality work at very reasonable prices, and always with a smile and a thank you) I love this place. I personally will go back, the service was great... They allowed me to see if a certain pole was right one for my tent and if not to bring it back. I tested pole out, not right one. I did however find out I had a pole not for my tent but am missing 3 parts otherwise. Thank you guys!

The people are very rude. They charge me one price and three different friends a different price. Frankly I just dont go there any more. Horrible service and attitude.

We dropped off 2 rv awnings on a Wednesday and were told they would call us the next day with quotes for repair or replacement. By end of the day Monday we had heard nothing. When I called I was told the lady would call me right back (which she did). She then told me she had no price quotes or anything for us. When I asked if this is how they conduct business I was told sorry we were busy. With all the many places in the area I would not recommend going here. They do not treat customers well. Needless to say we are picking up awnings and going elsewhere.
