This is the place I take my car to every time without fail! The owner will look at the car and give me a call to let me know exactly what the issue is and exactly how much he will be charging me before doing anything to it. One time, I brought my old car in and he gave me a call saying he couldnt pinpoint exactly what was wrong with it and told me there was nothing he could do and he didnt charge me a penny! More recently, I took my car in for an issue with the wheel and had to take it in again for the same issue. They did not charge me because it was a mistake on their part. The only thing is you will have to drop your car off and leave it overnight most of the time because they are so popular. This is the best car repair shop with honest and accountable workers. You should definitely give The Car Doctor your business!

Quick, honest service. I stopped in Nacadoches for one night, just passing through, when I had two problems with my truck. CAR Doctor got me in early, fixed both problems quickly and charged a very good price. I HIGHLY recommend them.

My college bound son had an issue with his vehicle. The motor was seized and had to be fully replaced. Rick quoted us an estimate and we approved the work. Then the job turned into one of those anything that can go wrong, will jobs. The engine was damaged during freight. Rick worked with the vendor to get a new engine. The wiring harness was also damaged during the engine seizure event. Rick was able to find a used harness for a fraction of the cost of a new one. All in all, Rick had to install and remove the engine 3 times. Finally repaired, we picked up the vehicle. The next day, my son reported that the car was not starting. Rick drove out to where the car was located and found that there was a problem with the starter. He had the car towed back to the shop and effected repairs within a day. Now my son has his car back and were able to move on to the next inevitable tragedy (when it happens) of parenthood. Thanks to Rick Christy for going above and beyond.
