A very large store with a huge selection; fun to browse and look around, though the prices can be a little steep on certain items. We noted they have a policy on handbags, but that didnt deter us at all! Definitely a neat place to drop by if youre interested in antiques.

Lots of furniture and dishes, but a good mix of other things. Pricing depends on vendor. Friendly folks, clean, good parking. Worth a stop.

Some really cool antique stuff here....if that your thing. Tons is items that are rare, because they either no longer make them, or the company has gone out of business.

I love this store. Insofar as the type of things you find at this store I feel like if you are truly a high end antique seeker you should go to the Theta Antiques show in Round Rock. To run down the type of things in the store is an insult to those of us that like what we think of as antiques. I am 60 years old and anything I saw in my grandmothers house who was born in 1904 is antique enough for me and that is what you will see here. The owners are very, very nice. Insofar as the purse policy you must be shallow to think they are going to search your purse. That is a complete fabrication of facts. I personally like the purse policy. It keeps me from accidentally breaking something and my lipstick from melting in the Texas heat. Please don’t let the two reviewers above sway you from enjoying this wonderful store.

I couldnt agree more with V.B.s post. That basically sums up my feelings as well. The owners responses online alone should give a clear indication of the type of person youre dealing with. This place is a joke. As an antiques appraiser and dealer myself, Im not sure where the owners get off on thinking that anything in their store is antique, or even fractionally worth the asking prices. The response to Paisley Grey is the best.Basically he is sayingAfter I offended a woman by either insinuating that she was a clumsy idiot incapable of controlling her purse, or accusing her of being a potential thief, I proceeded to assist her husband in finding a piece of a corning coffee pot that I had allowed to be priced at well-over the value of the entire coffee pot altogether. During the time I was begrudgingly offering my assistance some low-life relieved one of our dealers of $25 worth of silver and turquoise jewelry that had a price tag of $800 that we had decided upon by pulling straws earlier that day after reading that turquoise jewelry was all the rage 30 years ago.No other antique shop feels it necessary to treat customers so poorly, but then again, other antique shops actually sell antiques... this place is an overblown goodwill with Christies prices. The owner clearly has zero understanding of the value of the items he is peddling, and even more clearly lacks any understanding of the current antiques market.... hence why I can completely attest to the atmosphere of this dungeon being that of a dingy garage sale from 1995.I fear most of the stuff packed into this building is far from collectable ... but they sure are proud!Dont waste your time, go anywhere else. The red barn place up the road is WAY friendlier and actually has nice things at far more realistic prices!

When you drive up sign posted that you either leave your purse in the vehicle or it will be searched when you come in. My husband went to the door and the man he spoke with said you have to also lock it up in one of their lockers. When I refused to go in the man then said that this policy is enforced in all stores in California. This is Texas. I am a grown woman who is very capable of handling my purse. What happened to you break it you bought it? Only when my husband found a couch that he liked and wanted me to come in and see it that all of a sudden because he thought he may make a sale did he say I could come in with my purse if I wrapped it real tight and held it in front of me. We will not be returning to this place. Wanting to search someones purse as your sign clearly states is highly offensive and an invasion of privacy.
