While on vacation I was looking for Peach Crown Royal, went into an ABC Liquor Store on Kings rd and found it. I looked at the 750ML and the price, $79.99, assuming it in the wrong place I ask the women how much it was and she replied, “It’s hard to get, that’s why it’s $79.99!” My reply to her was “I’ve researched the price and most are selling it for $29.99.” I left and drove 7 miles to Total Wine and More and purchased it for $29.99!! ABC will never set my business!!

I don’t know if there is a such thing as price gouging on liquor but 70$ a bottle of peach crown is ridiculous. I get trying to make money and pay overhead but other stores in town have it in stock for 29.99 skip this place for sure.

$99 for McKenna and ECBP? $150 for Blantons? Let me guess you sell your BTAC and Pappy over Secondary. Places like you should be cut off from premium whiskey.

When I was there it was A well-stocked store.

Rudest guy ever! Soon as my cousin and I (2 women) walked into the store he acted discussed. After not seeing what we were looking for and asking if there was any in the back, he got even more rude. I total smart a$$! We decided to leave and go elsewhere. He informed us of he didnt have it no one else would either. WRONG! A little further down the road had what we were looking for, cheaper and a whole lot friendlier!

Compared to NC ABC stores a few of the items I was interested in were way over priced. I recently bought a handle of Eagle Rare in NC though hard to find for $70, they wanted $100 for just a fifth, I couldnt believe there price. The store was busy and felt a little crowded considering the time, but people were coming in and out so must work for the locals. The staff was somewhat helpful until I questioned their pricing. The store felt small, old, and dirty.

Who knew that MOST Myrtle Beach liquor stores were closed on Sundays? If you can find one open you can only buy beer or wine. Word to the wise.

Inquired about the peach crown. Listed at $79.99. Just purchased from another store for $35.99. Unbelievable. When I asked the store clerk what the price was.. He mouthed off.. ‘not sure why you’re asking, the price is on it’ I asked because it was unbelievable to me that it was priced so much more than what I had just bought it for. STAY AWAY!! Rude and overpriced.

Bought 2 overpriced top shelf liquors only to find that the seal had been broken on both. Called the store to alert them, and employee was rude and condescending. Wow... pretty unbelievable.

Purchased Tequila from this location that tasted absolutely disgusting. Went back to the store with the full bottle to try and get a refund and the man behind the counter said he was not responsible for anything sold from the store. He was extremely rude and made it abundantly clear that this business has no regard for its customers or the quality of the products they sell.

The gentleman at the counter was very nice. We were trying to find a liquor store and didnt realize everything closes at 7, so at 650 we raced around. Stopped across the street first as it was 655 and the man there had already locked his doors. Drove here, it was 657 and this guy was extremely nice and still had the doors open. Coming back here all week just because he was accommodating to us.

Way overpriced and the staff was extremely rude and unwilling to interact with customers.

Just left the store and asked about the price because it was substantially higher than what we have typically paid.The cashier was so incredibly rude regarding the price and then proceeds to mock and make fun of my question to the next customer behind me. I will never step foot in the store again and if I were the owner I would take a deeper look at my staff since he mockingly said he has been there for 3 years...The worst customer experience I have ever received.

DONT GO HERE. Bought a 1.75 leter of Bacardi Rum cost 30 plus dollars. Everywhere else 19.99. What a rip off. SAD

Great service and prices

Nice polite chap behind the counter. they always have what im looking for in stock.

First and last experience here. Male behind counter was rude, using foul language the entire time we were in store. Older female was polite and asked if she could help us. The behavior of the male however overshadowed her efforts.

Good place to go, however prices are high. Thats what happens when its controlled by the state. We are from NorthWest corner of Arkansas, same there. We go to Missouri when we are home.

I would not recommend anyone to spend any money in this establishment. The guy behind the counter & his friend was extremely disrespectful and rude to me and my wife. He was yelling and cursing and had no intentions on being courteous or showing any type of customer service. I dont know how this ABC store is still in business when there are plenty of other liquor stores in Myrtle Beach that know how to treat people while doing business. Stopping in this store was the worst part of our trip.
