Got my glasses knocked off while playing with my kids in the ocean. Gave Visionworks a call and had my local doctor fax my contact prescription to them. They hooked me up with a trial pair faster than it took me to blindly stumble through the mall looking for the place. The two ladies that were working that day went above and beyond to help out a blind stranger from out of town. Great place. Thanks!

Stopped by while on vacation last week. My husband’s contact ripped and he didn’t have a back up. The ladies were of such great assistance! They were so kind and helpful and got us squared away. Highly recommend.

Been going to vision works for years. Been trying to get an appointment for a year. Nobody ever answers the phone. When they do its a call center. Doctors are supposed to call back but never do. Guess they dont need my money anymore

Bud the store manager does an outstanding job. He checks every pair of glasses himself before they go out. He is very knowledgable and experienced. They have a very large selection of name brand popular frames. They have excellent pricing on frames and lens. I just picked up my second pair of new frames and progressive lens. They were super!

Dr is good and staff are very helpful with picking out frames.

The vision exam was perfect, however once it came time to pick out my glasses i sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes before being acknowledged. The frames were cheap enough but the transition lenses were very expensive...after waiting two weeks and finally went to pick up glasses they were the wrong lenses. The guy waiting on me said hes not surprised it happens often so that was a wasted trip and now i have to wait at least another two weeks and hopefully theyll correct the problem. Considering the amount of money i spent there, youd think the professionalism would be better. Never will I go back...Please consider alternatives before going here. Very disappointed.

My experience was awesome. Met with Julie and she explained the various options professionally and completely. She was very professional and attentive my particular experience. She provided quality service and didnt rush through just to get to the next person, which was nice. I will definitely go back and use them again. It was a wonderful experience!

I had a great experience with both Julie and Bud. Julie helped me out with the sale of my sunglasses and when they came in (not dark enough) she said to come in and see what they could do to help. Bud was able to darken the lenses more for me. Great customer service, thank you!

The service was beyond excellent. Superb is the only way to describe the experience I had with Julianne. After stopping at several other merchants, this place was the diamond in the rough. The glasses I chose are designer brand and look great as well as having the functionality that I was looking for. Best part was the customer service they really want to help. Bought my pair after just a short while and got a deal that was affordable.

Great service, very clean/sanitized and I saw them clean after each person, it was a very comfortable experience. As always great prices and frames!

Went there yesterday after a friend recommended them for their great prices. I have pop bottles lenses so I knew it would be a bit more. There was only one gal working and they were slammed. Julianna was very helpful to everyone and even though I had to wait a bit I used to time to try on different frames. She was super nice & helpful. I ordered my new glasses and was surprised at the price! It was about 1/2 of what I was expecting to pay. I overheard her tell one client that their new glasses would be ready in about 2 1/2 hours, so they make some of them on site. I would highly recommend! They also have a contact lens club if you wear them. Their prices seemed to be quite competitive! Thank you Julianna for your great service!

Cindy Travis is very helpful! She is the best! My family and I have been going there for years and she’s the only one I buy from(not saying that anything is wrong with the other) we just live Cindy! She’s the best!!!

Cindy was awesome! She showed me the price if I used my insurance compared to if I didnt and made it her priority to find me the best price. Ive worn glasses for 15 years and never has any person explained to me the difference in the grey, brown, or green lenses. She went above and beyond and I will definitely be returning to Visionworks in the future.

I lost my glasses at the beginning of my vacation and had to call and get something figured out. I was helped very quickly by Aundrea and some other blonde lady who helped with my eye exam. When it came to finding and purchasing my frames Julie. Was. Exceptional! She not only helped me to find a pair of frames that I liked but she was very pleasant to work with. I would recommend this location to anyone on vacation!

I went for glasses to Vision works I bought 2 pair. I could not see out of them I went back & was told everyone quit. I waited went back same thing. I returned the glasses never got my money. I suggest if your looking for glasses go somewhere else.

I asked the lady if she could adjust my eyeglasses and I would pay for her time because the ends were digging into my head. They are Costa Del Mar and she said that they would just pop back into place and not work. What a lie. I went home applied some heat and fix them myself in 5 mins. I was willing to pay a professional to do it because Ive never done it prior.

I would NOT consider coming here EVER again me and my mom came in there earlier today she was needing some glasses etc it was at least 20-30 minutes my mom had a question no one greeted or mention to offer help the phones was ringing off the hook NOT 1 person answered the phone it was only 1 lady out on the floor and she was helping a man with glasses etc it was this rude old lady who was a customer i was almost 2 seconds away from snapping on her she said something smart.. I told my mom just put the glasses down well go to where I go which is at Americas Best they lost a customer today I would not recommend ANYONE to come here I live here and this is the worst service Ive had in a long time. They need to hire more people mostly FRIENDLY workers who love their job. If i could give them no STARS I would. Glasses range from $70 to $200 dollars and they not even worth the AMOUNT I seen marked. If you want unfriendly and poor staffing this is the PLACE TO GO.

I’ve been to this particular location maybe 3 times for my annual eye exam and contact fitting. Usually it’s great! I felt compelled to leave a review today because of my sub-par experience in the past week. Last Thursday I called on the phone to make an appointment, I spoke with a young lady, I don’t recall the name unfortunately. From the very beginning the call seemed rushed and unimportant. She even said “Sorry there are kids in the waiting room, I can’t hear anything.” I get that, I worked in the service industry for a while that’s not something she could control. I make my appointment for Friday 3:30. Friday rolls around I never received a confirmation call or email, so about 10 minutes before my appointment I called to let them know traffic is heavy but I should be there right on time. Julie answers the phone, and tells me she has no record of an appointment for me. So I said okay...maybe I called LensCrafters on accident since they share the same location, but after calling LensCrafters I was told I didn’t have an appointment there either. Which can only mean the woman I spoke to initially never booked my appointment. So I tried to call back Vision-works to reschedule. The first time I get a horrible high pitched beeping sound. The second time Julie answers and I asked about appointment availability for tomorrow, she said one moment......and then I’m left on hold for 10 minutes and she never comes back to the call. The next call I made was to LensCrafters who answered promptly and made me a next day appointment.I’m disappointed in the quality of service. When you make an appointment you expect that appointment to be booked. I need to be able to see. I understand mistakes happen, but for me to call back and get left on hold just added insult to injury. Thank you LensCrafters for being so accommodating.

HORRIBLE! They tell you on the phone they accept your health insurance then AFTER your eye exam they tell you nothing is covered! And the eye doctor didnt even have the decency to wait 5 minutes to correct my prescription when I called to say I was on my way. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! NEVER AGAIN!

I was on Holliday in myrtle beach, when I lost my glasses!!! In a panic!! I visited a one hour place that did not seem interested in helping me. The hotel recommended Visionworks . What a wonderful bunch of people!! Dr. Westerlen did a very entailed exam, Deanna helped me pick out frames, she is awesome ! An hour later I could see!! Yay! I will be a VWs customer from now on when I get back home! Thank you for having such wonderful employees!

The left arm came apart at the weld. I bought them not quite a year ago. I took my glasses in and was told there was no warranty to cover it. To solve the problem I would have to pay for a new frame.
