They Optical team did not want to serve me. I had to call my Insurance company for them and they had to use my phone to talk to the insurance company. The doctor did not want to examine my eyes. Instead he wanted me to show him videos to prove my political beliefs. He also wanted to teach me how to treat Asthma. Thats when I walked out of the examination room. Then proceeded to ask the assistants not to charge me for an optical exam since their wasnt one. They were ambivalent and said you can go somewhere else.

My glasses are perfect! Scott the optician was so professional, courteous and knowledgeable, yet very friendly. This is my new go-to optical store!

Very poor customer service!!! I had an appointment that was made two weeks prior. When I got there, I was told that I didnt have an appointment. Pulled out my appointment card that clearly showed that I did. I was then told that Dr. had to leave town unexpectedly and she had called everyone to cancel their appointments. When I told her I never got a call, she kept insisting (with attitude) that she left me a message. My message log clearly shows no message from JC Penney Optical. I dont think she ever put my appointment in the system and thats why I never got a call.

I was at wits end trying to replace my Kate Spade eyeglasses. No one carried that frame anymore. I went to numerous optical departments and then stumbled in JC Penney’s Optical Department. Elesha, Apprentice Optician. She was amazing! While she couldn’t replace the brand, she found the perfect replacement pair. I was so happy, I also bought new prescription glasses. I’ve used cacoons fir a long time-and they just weren’t working for me! I stop by from time to time and she’s always there to help if I need it! This is also a GREAT store overall.

Such a pretty store, and the staff is excellent, not to mention the doctor! Worth visiting!
