This store is always a must when we visit myrtle beach !! And we do so once a year !! The staff here are super helpful and out of over 20 years of coming to myrtle beach I have never had a problem !! We always buy groceries for the week and they have always been stocked !! The bathrooms are super clean !! All around great store !! Highly recommend !!!

Was in a hurry like most shoppers but was able to find everything on my grocery list. I was quite pleased with the frozen vegetables. Huge selection. The store was clean, well lit, and the stockers were polite and friendly! Overall, a pleasant experience!

This Walmart is one of the better ones in this area. The only complaint is their self check-out has a few faulty registers and you might be waiting more than a few minutes until an employee comes over. Other than that, it has what most other Walmarts have and theyre nicer

Not a very good clothing section. Whoever is their buyer for the clothes section need to relate to people that is doing buying. Know what to order and that. All in all okay...

I wish I could have taken this Walmart home with me. It appears the out of town Walmart are way better than the ones at home. The cashier was a sweet heart. You can tell she was a child of God because her patience and willingness to help. I watched her with two other customers and then it was my turn.🥰 She didn’t not great me or fear of have a conversation. I should have gotten her name but everyone that stops in there and get in her line will feel her warm spirit.

Staff was so helpful when we asked where certain odd items were. Like that they had a self checkout for cash only. Id give it 5 stars but it was so large for an out if state person. But much better workers than my local Walmart

I recently went into this walmart to buy a laptop for school. The laptop I decided on was having issues ringing in. The technology assistant, Neal, was incredibly helpful through the entire process. Not once did he act frustrated with me nor the situation, and remained helpful throughout the entire process. I will definitely be returning to him for future technology purchases.

Bigger than many supposed Super stores. Not as much touristy stuff as youd expect but found most of what we need (more swimsuits and sandals would be good). Great grocery section.

Has everything you could possibly want at super prices but lacks in customer service and checkout personnel even before COVID. I was at this store at 11:30 pm and saw 2 clerks and 1 checkout person and the self checkouts were closed. The line was halfway to the back of the store. I left as I have done several times because of the wait. I find ordering online works for me except food buying. But, Walmart is a great store in finding what you want.

Its Walmart whats not to like. Everything but the kitchen sink at the lowest price possible... in most cases. Plus one gets exercise since all the stores are so big. Just what the doctor ordered. Love it!

This is the Wal-Mart I usually go to for most of the items that I need. The neighborhood Wal-Mart that is closer is usually out of everything but considering its only a couple blocks from Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach, I can also understand why. Employees are always super friendly and helpful.

Rude customer service in all departments. Auto worker got an attitude with my grandfather when he asked if they did Veterans discounts. Had to wait 4 hours to get our tires changed. While waiting, was told RUDELY, that we could not sit and wait by one of the workers, who then continued walking away, not giving us an opportunity to say anything back or ask her where we were able to wait.

Need more cashiers linear entirely too long everyone does not know how to use the self-service too many clothes registers for so many customers but great customer service

Flew into MB and bought a bunch of cheap beach gear for the week as well as a tarp for a baseball tournament. All worked great. Gave it to a guy and his kids as we left- he was thrilled.

This store is one of the best stock Walmarts Ive ever been to and Ive been all over the nation staff was very friendly and patient especially with so many tourists and everything bumping around well laid out very clean and again very well stocked there was nothing that I looked for that was not there

They were out of a lot of things getting hit by all the vacationers and bike week people so probably not there fault they couldnt keep up. Mens stuff I got just fine and food was stocked good.

We bought 2 non-motorized scooters for our kids on 07/23/2021 and one cracked right down the center after 3 days. Attempted to return on 07/27/2021 and was informed by the Team Lead, and confirmed by Carol, the very rude ‘store manager’ (though she did not have a vest or name tag on) that they did not accept returns of any ‘beach related items’ after 24 hours. When I explained that the item failed after 3 days, she then told me I was lying about the age of the items, even though I had a receipt. I called Walmart corporate and was informed that there is no ‘24 hour beach return policy’, that these items qualify for the 90 days return policy.

Needed an oil change and rotation. Very accommodating for last minute on a Sunday. Price was rite but thats where it ends... Our freshly washed car now has greasy paw marks all over it including both front door handles as well as oil dripping off the hood and bumper. A quick swipe of the steering wheel with a wipe showed the same care as it was dirty with greese also.

Planning to get one of these. Saw it today at my visit.

Typical big box retailer. Lots of choices and options to choose from. As with everywhere, need more staff to assist in getting customers checked out more efficiently. All manned checkouts had long lines and entire self checkout area was backed up as well. Still struggling to understand why certain check out registers are cash only or card only. This seems to delay the line and people based on how they are checking out.

Shelves are POORLY STOCKED in store but Pharmacy and Jeffrey Miller the BEST!

A jolly good time was had by most all of our party. The party was myself, Angie the Sister elder, Al Senior the ex-pre-step-father not to be also senior elder, Edward Junior the 1st of his name youngling Senior, Natalie the hairess princess to the throne of Jimbo Slim. Addyson the little queen who continues to amaze and delight all she comes into contact with.The party would conquer many of the sites harshest trials. With young Addyson bravely advancing into many perilous dark corridors with not a fear to be shown. As but a lowly story teller and a Bard at that I held down the camp mostly. The various party members would split and reconvene at my established camp. Rations and mostly water were plentiful to keep this rowdy bunch properly nourished for the days trials.That be the end of this tale And this tale be at its end my friends! 💓😉😁💓🎉😁😉😅

Trying to check out on a very busy Saturday afternoon and this place had only 2 registers open with actual cashiers. I waited in line to check out for over an hour, and there was a line of over 20 people with full carts behind me. Saturday and Sunday are big check in days when people go purchase their groceries for the week. There was no excuse for this. Important neccessary item sections were wiped out as well; water, disposable cups, plates, plastic utensils, paper towels, etc. Obviously not prepared for tourists coming in.I can say, at least the bathrooms were kept clean.

Clothing section was great compared to what we have in my area. Floorplan was different. However, at 7pm on a Friday, the frozen food section was decimated.

I didnt give them a full 5 due when you ask for help they seem to never have the answers to were things are witch in fine but then they should call to ask someone

I love Walmart with my dad and Chris and Katie. Pete have a surgery. I am used the Walmart app and I have been buying some stuff. Living the life. And the fact is. The place is the best.

The toilets apparently hasnt seen any cleaning chemicals nor a brush since the day this place opened. Why are all Walmart restrooms so disgusting? Uggghhh.

We stopped here to get a foam cooler to take leftovers home from our lunch stop before we started back home. The heat was making my MS act up so I waited in the car. My son couldnt find what we were looking for so we made due with a different arrangement. Maybe if I had went in I could have found that or a plastic type cooler. Ours had gotten moved out of the van. Anyways we managed. We were tired and wanted to get started home. Dont think it was Walmarts fault we didnt find what we were looking for.

Absolutely absurd that they have all registered closed. Only self check out .Then have a sign saying they are hiring. Starting at $11 an hr . Hiring for what ? To stand there .

Way too crowded for my taste. The seedy characters and portable security camera stations dont exactly make you feel comfortable. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the neighborhood WalMarts in the area.

This is the closest store to my house so I force myself to frequent it, but it’s far from my favorite or actually full functioning store, pickup orders is getting slack not on time with orders not picking items in stock, and not listing items in stock! I’m shopping last night and a fight broke out that was heard all over the store, I’m currently waiting on money back from items I ordered to pick up, but they said they were not in stock, so I went and looked and there was a whole shelf full of the item they canceled my order over not in stock! I’m not pleased at all with the function of a lot in the store. If you don’t mind the drive or are just seeking groceries I recommend the marketplaces near by or go to the airside, store near the Tanger outlet on the way into NMB or the NMB store!

Clean. The pharmacy folks are helpful but there is always a line during the lunch break and after work hours. Most of the check out staff are fast and helpful, although only one is a good bagger. Selection of frozen dinners (especially single serve) is small.

Really liked the Walmart Wine & Spirits store in the parking lot. Wish the Walmarts in Tennessee had this.

Fun for the whole family. Great atmosphere and food. I had the Volcano Nachos and they were really good. No reservations, first come first served.

Wish there was better jeans other than slim boot cut etc etc. Need some more fashionable jeans like from rue 21 or other clothing places

Not a bad place to shop. Has a little bit of everything you might need and the prices are decent. The only thing that I dislike is sometimes it can can be a bit dirty and the employees are not so quick to help out.

We used the pickup from here when we came for vacation but I think i would have been better off going inside. When we got there we waited 1 hour before anyone came out. When we got to the motel my eggs, bread, and kiwis was underneath all the 2 liters, juices, and everything else we bought. About 4 eggs were not busted, the whole thing of kiwis(2lbs) was completely destroyed, and my bread was squished. We was never once asked if we would like the things up front and we had to go back the next day and go inside to get the groceries because they was destroyed. We had to throw away about $15 worth of things because they was not usable.

Id advise people to shop early in the morning if possible .The lack of cashiers is ridiculous!A man in front of me had a cart full.He had ample time to get another cart and fill it up before he reaches the cashier 😕

If you know what you want youre bound to find it yourself. Self checkouts are great and simple to use. This place has improved over the years and I think covid actually helped now that they are not 24 hours anymore. Now that its summer, they carry lots of items tourists left home or need for their stay at the beach house

For a labor day wknd it was not completely crazy. Found some great bargians but the best one was a toaster oven on sale for $24 from $48. Yeahhh

Nobody wants to help you not my Department but want to check your bags or accuse people of not paying for stuff at the doors going out. But when you need someone to help carry a heavy item or ask a price no one is around until you get hurt carrying something they should have. Even if its not your Department you should try at least to get them help just saying

This Wal mart was fairly clean and organized. They were low on stock but in their defense it is in Myrtle Beach and at the beginning of the week. So they had been ransacked. On the other hand, I am a Marvel and DC action figure collector. I visit every Wal Mart I can hunting for toys. This store had no stock of anything I was looking for so in that aspect I was extremely disappointed in this store.

Slowest pickup service I have ever had at a Walmart. They also neglected to give me the watermelon for which I paid. I cannot strongly enough recommend caution and patience when visiting this store.

What A Mess This Place Is, I think we have all seen our fair share of lousy Customer Service, and Unkept chaotic Store Management. This one takes the Cake and Ice Cream. There Customer Service / Return department treat everyone as if your return is stolen and the Money is coming out of there paycheck.. They wont even scan your ID before making the assumption that we cant return that its over 50 dollars. I did not have a receipt that was legible but could clearly see the number to punch it in. Rude unprofessional, store was a wreck no buggys because they are all in the parking lot. Asked 2 times for money from some professional pan handlers, Not to mention We had to stand in line for 15 mins just so they lady could go to lunch and we had to change lines.... Im still trying to figure out what just happened.... but this place is by far the number 1 place not to visit in Myrtle Beach SC. Beside look at all the little businesses that have had to close there door because of Walmart..

Pretty good but the pandemic is making it hard to get the shelves restocked like usual. And they need more cashiers working the front so my ice cream doesnt melt before I finish checking out.

Ill preface the following debauchery with this: my wife & I took an Uber out to this store for the sole purpose of returning several items that we (she 😉) impulse bought a few nights previously, as we were rushed out of the store. A $15 Uber ride later, we arrived to discover that the employees working that night had decided to close the money center/customer service desk (the ONLY place you can return items in the entire store) 20 minutes earlier than they are supposed to!? When we inquired about this & explained that we had gotten a ride for this reason only, we were told - very harshly, with no eye contact, in front of a group of other customers. Embarrassed, we walked away with our tails tucked between our legs to go browse the store & try to make the most of this increasingly tarnished trip to Wal-Mart. After a couple hours of perusing and picking out an entire cart full of items we needed, we made our way back to the front of the store to check out. We were amazed to find that only TWO cashiers were working the entire store, but they had over 15 Self Checkout lines open right during their closing time, with customers in lines that easily stretched halfway to the back exits of the store! And to make matters worse, out of the 20+ self check-out stations, over half of them did not accept ANY form of cash payments! There was a time in my life - in the not so distant past - when I had no access to credit or debit cards, only cash. I felt empathetic towards the customers around me who were in the same position tonight. Between this mayhem, and the fact that nearly every. single. department. was out of the majority of their products... This Walmart location needs to step their game up!

Usually has everything I need. I was not impressed with the cut fruit in the produce section though, many containers were spoiled, leaking every where, or looked dirty. The fruit did not taste too good even the ones that looked decent.

No shopping carts inside the store.Staff refused to go out and get them.Management says if you want a cart you have to get your own so you have customers by the dozens bringing carts across a crowded parking lot.Meanwhile, there are several yellow jackets or lower level management people standing around doing nothing.The store is full of J-1 employees that cant speak English.The shelves are empty.Many broken self checkouts.

Hi. I went in the night of the 16th - it was RIGHT AT CLOSE. I bought an antenna for our TV and didnt realize I hadnt gotten my recoept until I had gotten outside. I went back in and even though it was right at close- TANA helped me until we had it figured out. Thank you TANA! I hope others inspire to be as helpful as she is. Thanks again- Meg

Blue spring, MO has merchandise all over the place, priced wrong and dont honor those stocked with wrong prices -- give me a break, you can tell when something was laid down in the wrong place vs. Stocked wrong. Garden center never had their registers open. When asked why they never have enough hello they say since other companies they pay more per hour (even fast foods) they cant keep help. This is the one company that had their store (all departments, not just food and meds) open last year during the covid shutdown making money while others had to close their doors?!?!?! And theyre too greedy they cant pay enough to keep employees? I checked and their hiring signs do have lower hiring pay than the McDonalds right down the road 🤔 Sad, I dont blame employees for quitting for easier jobs with better pay
