After the 1 1/2 hour wait: Would you like to make an appointment instead?...they dont have an opening for several days. Why dont you come in first thing in the morning?.. . @20 minutes before opening theres already 8 people ahead of you. The employees are experienced and helpful after you finally get one.Open another Corporate store or hire more staff. You ARE NOT trying to provide adequate service.

I needed to pay part of my monthly bill with a credit card and the remainder with cash. I had to go to our local Verizon store to take care of this payment. The staff worked with me and were extremely courteous.I am disabled and upon arrival, sat on a bench to wait my turn. I was treated very well and completed my payment within a total of no more than one hour. The store was very busy and the staff member kept checking with me to make sure that I was comfortable.So... kudos to the team!Thank you guys, very much!

I dont like to leave bad reviews, but I feel I need to say that the service we received was less than stellar. Its a very busy store, but, perhaps, instead of giving us the bums rush the agent could have spent a little more time with us. We made an appointment thinking we would get that. And for what its worth, we have had Verizon for 30 years. Fortunately, because we have iCloud accounts, all of our information transferred over easily, but we had to do it at home ourselves. The agent didnt bother activating our new phones, so we had to do that ourselves as well. He didnt explain that, so we called Verizon, and after nearly an hour on hold, got someone who disabled our old phones, but never activated our new phones. We had to call Verizon back from our landline, and finally got in touch with someone who activated our new phones. Additionally, the agent at the store gave us a specific dollar amount that we would get for trading in our iPhone 8s for iPhone 12 pros. We also purchased cases & other items. Upon sending our old phones back, we received an email from Verizon letting us know how much our phones are worth after they evaluate them. All I can say is it better match what this agent told us. If we stay with Verizon, I think well find another store.

Avoid. They took my name and told me it would be a 15 minute wait. I waited 20 minutes, watched all five employees stand alone at their counter, no one acknowledged me, spoke, nothing. I finally walked out after being ignored--very frustrating.

Rhett is an amazing asset to your team. A recent issue with an update caused many of our phones to stop responding. With a line of 20+ people out front, Rhett was checking them in and guiding them in how to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently. Most of us were able to resolve the problem and leave before our turn to go inside. He handled the situation with incredible patience and grace and made my experience a thousand times less stressful. This store is HORRIBLE. After 2 days on the phone with Verizon they told me to come to the store and pick up a free SIM card which should fix the problem. Once I got to the store I went in to pick it up there was a haphazard line of people, nobody knew where to wait and there was nobody to check of the customers in. After standing in line for about 20 minutes, a woman “strolled” over and started putting people on the list. At this point she started telling people there would be a 2 hour wait! I told her I was just picking up a free SIM card and she said it didn’t matter. This is not the first time we had problems at this location. Seriously considering going to T-moble.

Horrible service on my first day of being a Verizon customer. The employee clearly didnt want to help me, told me they couldnt do anything about my problem, handed me a slip with phone numbers and told to call customer service. (I did this in my car because I didnt think I was going to get the help I needed) the link doesnt work because my phone was brand new out the box so I had to go back in the store to which the employee then gives me another number to call. If I had left the parking lot and waited until I got home, the customer service number wouldnt have worked, my problem wouldnt have been fixed & I would have to drive 30+ minutes back down 501 the next day just to go through the same process that couldve been handled professionally in the beginning.

I had an account with them for the last three or four years and due to medical conditions I cannot wear a mask. Their website was not reflecting which phones they had in stock properly so I had to go into a few stores. The last one I went to was a corporate store and they treated me horribly because I could not wear a mask and essentially kicked me out of the store without even helping me. This was in the Myrtle Beach store and the person (who said she was a manager) was Michelle. After she was very rude to me I told her she was losing my business and she said “aight”. There is no mask mandate in the state of South Carolina or the county or city of which I was in. I brought this to the attention of the executive representatives and CEO etc. and they are not apologetic and were rude to me as well. As a veteran I am appalled by the way they treated me. I have switched to T-Mobile and they treated me very well and have great veterans discount.

Awful company. They kept charging me even after I called and cancelled my contract. I paid for 4 months of service and got 2. I had to tell me bank to stop giving them money. I carefully set the whole thing up, I didnt break a contract or anything, theyre just totally fraudulent. You can look up many other people saying the same online.

If you want the worst customer service then you found the right place. These people could care less about you or your needs. Even the manager is clearly just there to collect a check. Do yourself a favor and find another cell phone company like I did i highly recommend it. Want to fix that store I would fire every last one of them and start over smh.

I went in today and was helped by Damiene Rogers. He is such a great guy and took what could have been a really bad experience into a fun time. My 1 year old phone died without any reason and he was so helpful and great and funny! He was so patient with me! Imagine going to a phone store and spending hundreds of unexpected dollars and enjoying the experience! Thats what I did today thanks to Damiene!

Drove all the way to this store this morning for assistance after no help over the phone. I get there and before I can even get to the door this heavy set black gentleman comes out and says are systems are down we cant do anything. Its not always what you say but how you talk to people. I also just had a general question had he took the half a minute to ask instead of dissmissing me he would have probably been able to help me. Then he abruptly says the one in North Myrtle is open I said isnt that lile 35min away he rudely yep. Peoples time and gas are not just dissmissed like that. Verizon up your customer service game.

They have great service and they do things really good. They always get you back and running with replacement phones with your contract. They even sent me a phone while I was on vacation. And that was next day service. Love the technology and the service. However it is very expensive feels like they are picking me up by my feet and shaking me for all my money every month. They have lots of competition now and they should lower their prices. But they act like theyre a high end Jaguar or Lexus. I hope one of their competitors like Sprint would get their act together and blow these guys out of the water. They remind me of how AT&T got in the phone business one time they thought they were indestructible. We all know what happened to that story. Now Verizon is the King of phones. They just need to be more cost-efficient. However their service is very remarkable. And you can find one of their stores anywhere you go. Satisfied as far as that is concerned. Just wish they would lower my bill I feel like its a shake-down every month.

The sales associates are timed as to how long they can work with each customer. I got a new phone and plan and basically had to teach myself how to use it. Still learning. But my service itself WAY better can actually work and get messages and calls vs SPRINT.

Bad/congested location, rude and unhelpful employees who know nothing about their products, confusing and absolutely ridiculous COVID policy, the list goes on and on. First I had to drive down from NMB cause NMB store is closed. So 30 min trip to be forced to stand outside in sun no chairs no shade to get in store, then forced to wear a mask. I disabled and cant stand for very long before legs go numb and forced to sit, bit had nowhere to sit. UPS guy walked in no mask no problem, but I cant go inside without mask. Hmm go figure. Rules apply to all but select few.!!! Sounds socialist to me.!!!

I had an issue with my iPhone 6 Plus it would not update I called Apple and worked with there representative for over a month and a half my only solution was to travel to an Apple store in Charleston South Carolina I thought Id give it a shot and stop at the Verizon store since I had the insurance on my phone I stopped at Seaboard Road Myrtle Beach South Carolina on August 19, 2017 at 10 oclock when they opened and again I was told it was an Apple software issue but to my surprise the representative for Verizon looked at my phone just to see what some of the issues might be why it would not update to the newest software she proceeded to go on Google to check the issuesI had thought about changing to a new phone but without the update cant transfer my old phone to a new phone without correcting my issues so after two hours of the representative from Verizon corrected everything for me that Apple could not do and it was an Apple software issue.I want to praise the employees of Verizon at Seaboard Road I could not thank them enough for taking the time to correct my phone and spending over two hours to correct an Apple software issue, Apple could not solve.

They are picking and choosing who they allow in the store. They kept telling me because I was not wearing a mask. They were letting other people in with no masks. Security Guard from Securitas was there no mask and staff as well no mask. They want to get paid to do nothing. I had warranty issues and they are failing to keep up with warranty on items.

You know if youre with this storefront, we need another Verizon store in Myrtle Beach. To be honest, thats why the three stars. If you love the products and I think we all do, it should be reflected in the Carolinas especially Myrtle Beach. Some of the pits about this store long wait times, which can try your familys patients. This dose lead to a attitude of sorts that can be connected with the lower nature. We would love to see another version store with happy workers and a higher tech savvy and work station tables to help us with our computers and services. The room is limited at this store, so prepair to rub elbows with people who just want to get in and out, or are there for the wrong reasons.Virison store associates are also looking for forgiveness, these folks are short of time and think they are there for their paychecks. They need a few courses in personalized edicts and HAPPY lessons. I will be praying for these employees, and I hope your prayed up so to speak this summers wait times will be a blessing if we have two Myrtle Beach stores. God bless them not everyone comes to virizon with a peaceful sense, but they have to have life to give life. Praise the Lord.

However, if youre a boring, uninteresting human being thats absolutely ignorant on cell phones... Verizon had slowed down the speed of the data download, too many customer to internet speed ratio. I was told by a Verizon tech support employee that too many people were using personal devices so Verizon slowed down the download speeds of their customers so the data would be more evenly distributed. Upload speeds are pretty good. Store employees are a great help and very knowledgeable.

HORRIBLE customer service! Worst experience with any Verizon store I have ever been to in the over 15 years Ive been a customer. Waited over an hour, walked out after just a few minutes of talking to the sales associate. He couldnt answer a single question. He spoke condescendingly, slouching over the desk leaning his head in his hand, acted like he didnt care at all if he was being helpful, did not try to sell me anything, and couldnt explain what options we had. Kept saying he didnt know the answers. I asked for someone who could answer my questions, try to sell me a phone. He said my questions made no sense. All I wanted to do was add a line or upgrade an existing tablet line to a phone. Should I upgrade or and the new line? Tell me my options, tell me the costs, show me the phones...nothing from this guy. I even told him I just switched one of my lines to another company and needed to know if I am better off doing that, he said maybe I should. Well, I think I will. Very disrespectful. Worst service ever from the gentleman with the dreads and extremely long finger nails. Even my son asked me if the guy was drunk!

It was very unpleasant. The wait was ridiculous . The two specialist was rude, one let someone skip the line because he knew him. The bald man with the tattoos act like he refuse to take someone else. The only person that was nice and seem to want to help was the Spanish women with the long hair! They need some more help asap!
