I am very disappointed i have been going there for awhile now and the are kinda nice but when i went in today and they had 4 nintendo switch boxes and went to go buy one he said that the where sold out DONT PUT THINGS ON THE SHELF IF YOU DONT HAVE THEM!!! I have been wanting a switch and i have been looking but went this game stop and it was very disappointing i am never going to this gamestop ever again

Fun place to walk into. Very busy. Always a game console on to try a couple new games. Great staff. Super selectio . I dont even play games but love buying them for my nephew. Just an awesome place.

My son bought a game that would not work. They refused to give us a refund and offered a Nintendo gift card instead. Was not very friendly about it either. I still go in the store when we visit the Beach and look around but unless it is something that no where else has I don’t think I will buy from there again.

The guys and gals at Gamestop @ Coastal Grand Mall offer top quality service. They know the industry very well and they are more than willing to offer advice whenever you need it. I buy over 90% of my games from this store and I find there quality of service and products to be top notch. I would recommend this store to any parent that may not know a lot about video games as the staff can surely be very helpful in showing a parent what may be suitable for children.

DO NOT TRADE IN AT THIS STORE. They wouldn’t take my controllers because of “defects” even though I tested them earlier. Waste of time.

I only shop here to complete certain collections on ps3. They have ok deals on used games but I would not recommend trading here. Staff is always nice and store is clean. Id rather they exist then only have online options, there is something to be said about holding the game before buying.

The sales associate that helped me said that they were out of stock of an item that I knew was in stock since I had called earlier. However I am thankful for the guy who was in the back room that came out and corrected the other associate in his error. 1st guy = Negative 3 stars, 2nd guy stellar.

They are very rude and pushy. Would rather purchase digitally online or on Amazon. Target has great deals as well. Sometimes you pay more for a used game at game stop and the same game at Target or Walmart new is cheaper. Figure that one out.

Not my local Gamestop but it is a really good one. Its smaller than Surfside but way less busier. Located inside Coastal Grand mall, take the entrance next to Bed Bath & Beyond. Have unloaded a Wii U, Switch, Vita, N64 & about 100 games there recently (needed the cash) with no problems whatsoever. Awesome, friendly staff as well.

James is the man. I bought a game last Sunday and it wouldnt install properly. I called and asked if I could exchange the disc and someone said no problem. When I walked in and explained what was going on to James, he held the disc up to the light and said he saw the problem. I was shocked and asked how he knew so quickly. He told me to hold it up to the light and said, where you can see through the disc is why the game wasnt working properly. He put a new disc in the case and slid it toward me. No questions asked. I said, thats it? He said, thats it. Thats ideal customer service. In and out, no questions, no hassle, problem fixed. Thanks James!

Just called about an issue with my xbox one. The guy who answered was very helpful in trying to figure out what the issue was and the best way to troubleshoot the problem. Other staff at the store is usually very friendly and knowledgeable about gaming as well compared to other gamestops Ive been to

Ive been standing here for 15 mins at the counter while the guy is having a free non game stop conversation and I spent a $100 if I didnt want what I want I would have left but I didnt have time to be picky

Was fine til we tried to purchase a game for $7.99 then got charged $11.99, when confronted the guy ripped the cases plastic off and slammed it in the trash can. Seemed very pissed off that we caught him.

The people working here are some of the rudest people Ive ever met. Are not helpful at all, snarky and they have attitude. Take your money to Amazon and buy used games there, youll save a ton of money.

Employee told me I was rude multiple times when I tried to trade something in when picking up a preorder. Then told me he couldnt help me with the preorder.

The game I got was overpriced but it was pretty cool the things I got were exclusively GameStop and I love it dearly

So...we bought the xbox one last night. we got the used bundle. when we got home and opened the box it was scratched and scuffed up. it was horrible. it looked like somones girlfriend (most likely EX girlfriend now) tied it to the back of her car and took it for a drive. to top it off, the controller was sticky. I assume it was the last one they had. thankfully I got the warrenty and was able to go to surfside and switch it out.

I have only been this this game stop twice and I dont live too far from it, I usually drive to Surfside (that should tell you something). But my most recent visit took the cake. I was going to get Call of Duty, Ghosts. I read online about a deal that if you purchase ps3 game you can upgrade it for 10 bucks to the ps4 game, so I called the store to see if this was true. Spoke with an employee named Dillon, he said it was true, so I got in my car and drove to pick myself up a copy. When I got there I decided to double check before I gave my money to them for it. The guy said, no we have no such deal at all........When I said I called they just said sorry I was told wrong.......What if I had got the game then went in to upgrade and got denied? I almost wasted 60 bucks here.....Thats a scary thought, this isnt a small game or anything you would assume the managers have their employees informed better, knowledge reflects management. I dont come here often, but I will never set foot In there again after that.

Stupidity The associate was the only one in store that is not the time to do inventory. Told him I couldnt find a game on the shelf but he said they had it didnt bother to check computer. So he goes to to look for it on the shelf xbox 360 I told him its no big deal about the box, so he gives it to me in the sleeve. After I drive all the way home and go to play the game its for ps3. I didnt bother to check since he was looking in the section I told him. After driving back to the store he didnt apologize at all then told me we dont have it pre-owned thats not what he said earlier and after all the trouble you think he would just give me the new one for the same price since he made the mistake. Nope. Been a loyal game stop customer for over 12 years and with this experience after what I have pre-ordered comes in I just shop at amazon all the time unless the higher up fix the situation. The manager Joe called me a few days later to resolve the issues. I will defiantly give this store another chance because of that.

After traveling 45 minutes to this store to pick up an item that I was told was available for pickup today I get there and can not find the item and so I asked the clerk if he knew where I could locate the item after about five minutes of being confused and not being able to find it he turned to his Co worker and asked if he knew about it to which I got the reply oh yea we have a bunch of them in the back but cant sell you any because they are all on hold...No wonder all these places are going out of business and people actually refuse to shop in store for things when in the end I ended up buying what I was looking for online and from a different company really dissatisfied with this company after this...
