Horrible customer service all around. Walked in, wasn’t greeted at all even though I said “hello.” My daughter who is 3 was busting to use the restroom and I asked if they had one and the lady was like, “not for the public” and turned around and walked away no courtesy whatsoever. Then I walked around for 20 minutes trying to find a specific product to get no help whatsoever from anyone I try to get the attention of one of the employees several times and was ignored. When I finally did find what I was looking for I forgot that I had picked up something that I didn’t like as much that was still in my basket I paid for everything and walked out to my car after looking at the receipt I realized I picked up the extra item that I didn’t need and turned right back around before I even got to my car to get a refund. I was told both by the sales associate and who I perceive to be either a manager or possibly the owner that they just simply could not give refunds even though I had not left the parking lot I think that is an absolutely absurd way to do business. If I had gotten home with the product or even left out of the parking lot I could see it, but to not work with a customer that literally just walked out the door is completely ridiculous. The manager/owner when I told him I would be leaving a review said “well that is your right” and didn’t seemed interested at all and trying to rectify the issue. there’s absolutely no way I would spend one red dime in this place again it’s not even about the refund but the attitude in which they handled the matter and the overall customer service which absolutely sucks. I’m visiting from NC and if you think this hair store is awesome you haven’t been to a real nice one this place is a joke!

I liked the space, but an employee came into the aisle and ask me if I needed home seeking a product. When I told her what I was looking for, she directed me to the register. The woman at the register did not understand why her coworker sent me up front. After searching in the correct aisle and needless to say, they did not carry the product I was looking for.

I adore the staff that works here. They develop a professional relationship with there customers. They have some pretty great deals at times. My only dislike is that I feel they don’t have much of a variety of hair. And if you do find hair you like it’s more than likely priced twice the price you could pay online. Either way, my experience here is more of why I return. I recommend stopping by!

The co-owner had gave me the wrong product. When I went back and asked for the right product. Jessica (the co-owner) told me since the product was opened that they couldnt take the product back. This place uses the fact that they are the only local hair store. I try my best to go in there less as possible. .

While visiting Myrtle Beach, I caught a glimpse of this door. It had beautiful African dresses and skirts in the window being advertised for sale. I decided, that I will go to the store the next day while I had time to peruse these dresses. When I went in, I was pleased that they were as beautiful as they appear to be the day before. When I asked the attendant, salesperson, if they had a dressing room, she told me that she did not. I said okay, Ill just slip it over my clothes., since these were all one-size-fits-most. I have large breasts, and needed to make sure the dress fit properly. I was told I could not even do that. I was also told that I could not return the address for refund. These people did nothing to accommodate me. They were unfriendly, uncompromising, and frankly treated me as though by me trying this dress on, I would in some way soil it. I found my treatment offencive, and I would caution anyone else to patronize this store because they do not seem to be welcoming to people who are differently complected. That is the only reason that I could see why they would have such a ridiculous policy in place. Why would I buy a dress, unsure of how it fits, unable to return it for a refund or exchange it? I wish I could give it no stars

Definitely my go to store in the Grand Strand! Great Customer service! I usually call ahead and see if they carry new products. They also have a staff that uses the products they sale, and wears the hair they offer! I come from a big city with a lot of stores to choose from, now that I am here this is the best store I have ran into! Give it a try!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The store has a large selection to choose from. They did not have the brand that I asked for l, but they did however introduced me to a better product. The prices were higher than what I am used too, the hair seemed to be of better quality! Once again you get what you pay for!

Store manager Jessica was rude upon me asking about not 1 but 2 charges made on my card.AFTER I OPTED TO PAY WITH CASH!She does not know how to properly work her card machine to process transaction reports.She got loud with me on numerous occasions. Her only response was to contact my bank.She was very unprofessional, not to mention the up keep of the store.Very packed but dirty and its not easy to find the products.Her staff was however helpful. She should take a few pointers from her people. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HAIR SUPPLY STORE!!

When buying products from this location it is best if you open up what youre about to purchase, they tell you not to do that but I advise you to do. Bought a product did not open it until I went to go put it in my hair, notice that the product was broken due to Manufacturing went to exchange it not get my money back owner made a big issue about exchanging without receipt then going to proceed to tell me they do not take back ponytails but theres no sign anywhere in a store saying that

I normally like going here because it’s closer to me than the beauty supply in north Myrtle beach and they have a larger selection but today I arrived around 4:50 10 mins before they closed and I work in customer service too so I’m not a fan when people come in near closing and I get that you want to go home. However, when running a business & working in customer service I know how you should treat every customer regardless. As soon as I walk up to the door a male employee Is unlocking the door. Why are the doors locked when your hours say you close at 5? I ignored it because I knew what I wanted and they didn’t turn me away and I was going to be in & out. 3 different workers came up to me basically “checking” if I needed help finding anything (I never get this much assistance on a regular visit). But they were adamantly trying to get all the 3 customers including myself out the store. It took me 5 mins total to grab what I came in for and they were announcing that the register would be closing so to make your final selections, places do this all the time so ok again I wasn’t phased. I get to the register & a male customer came up to the door at 4:56 and I know because I checked the time on my phone while I was at the register, the same gentleman I mentioned locking / unlocking the door. asked a lady who I’m assuming is the manager on the shift, are we closed? And the lady said yeah so they turned this man away and said they were closed at 4:56. Again, Your hours say you are open until 5, how dare you turn business away when they come in between the hours you have listed. It didn’t sit well with me & I was so disgusted by the entire transaction and how they were treating patrons that I left my things at the register and I’m glad I decided against the rushed purchase as a whole. Listen to the reviews about the customer service at this place I didn’t believe it bc I’ve had some good experiences but it’s real.

Wow. Largest selection of hair, wigs, and extensions around this area. I could have spent all day in there just browsing and checking out their inventory. They also have clothing, jewelry, and makeup. Their prices cant be beat either! Several products i found there were $3-5 cheaper than the same product at other hair supply stores in the area.

Went to the 501hair location and was told I would get a 20% discount for buying the wig off the manikin, since they were out of stock. When I went to pay, they refused to honor the 20% and would only give 10%. If my girlfriend didnt need this wig, I would not have purchased. Will never return.
