I scheduled a front end alignment for my car at 2PM. My car was on the lift by 2:05 and the technician informed me about 2:15 the cars passenger side ball joint has play and they cant do a front end alignment until that is fixed. I was charged $32.00 and out the door around 2:25. I asked if the $32.00 would go toward my front end alignment when I returned after I fixed the ball joint. I was told no but maybe he could find a $15.00 front end coupon when I return. I am disappointed they charged me $32.00.

My belt broke at the airport within a day and a half my car was up and running. They went the extra mile and had the battery trickle charged and the car was clean when I picked it up. I drive a Hyundai Eqqus, the parts were high, the labor was fair.

Had a shock repair in Scarborough, Canada in January, 2020 then drove to Myrtle Beach where I discovered that there was a problem with the original repair. Took it to the Midas shop at 3354 Waccamaw Blvd where Tommy gave me and all other customers a warm welcome. While my car was being evaluated I noticed that everyone who arrived were return customers as they knew Tommy by name and he knew theirs. Alas, my car required a $200 additional repair due to some issues with the original repair. Brodie showed me the issue and explained the challenge to repair the issue. The repair went well and back in Canada I returned to the local Midas shop which said theyd help me resolve the money issue. Bottom line they were stringing me along by always being polite, taking my phone number but never getting back to me. This is where it gets interesting. Danny at the Midas gets word of my frustrations, contacts me, sends me a refund cheque for the work I had done in Myrtle (even though there work was excellent and trouble free) and informs me hed be then trying to get his money back through corporate channels. He didnt have to do that. I can assure you that Tommy, Brodie and Danny went way beyond what is normally required. Highly recommend dealing with the Midas shop on Waccamaw Blvd. Great work, but more importantly they stand behind the quality of their work with integrity. Many thanks.

We are on vacation and had to get a car fixed. Dropped off this morning and was called 45 minutes later it was fixed. It was fast, and affordable. Very nice folks work here. Definitely will keep them in mind for the future.

Drove there and of course, needed appointment and a snarky woman behind the counter who said I never got your call. They were so accommodating when an appointment had to be cancelled,they said, Take care of yourself first, and well take care of your car when youre better. My DEEPEST appreciation to the owner and the staff at this Midas!! We towed a trailer with two motorcycles to Myrtle for Bike Week 2019. We discovered that a tire had severe wear and I needed an alignment and tires moved around. Very very fair and great dealings with this store. If I ever run into trouble in the area again I wouldnt hesitate to visit them again!!

I almost always take my vehicle to the dealer for an oil change and tire rotation but decided to step outside of the box. I looked up the closest oil change place to my house and this came up. I read the reviews before heading over there. Mostly everyone raved about the employees. I am also going to do the same. Everyone there was so nice!! I wanted a tire rotation but was told it wasnt needed at this time. Would the guys at Toyota do the same? Heck no! Theyd rotate them to get the money. I value the honesty given to me by the mechanic (I cant remember his name. Sorry!). I would absolutely in a second recommend these guys!! Youll be seeing me again!!

Went for a tune up. They were honest enough to tell me that I only needed new spark plugs seeing as I havent hit 100k mi. Would give 5 stars but $112 seems like alot for one hr of labor and new spark plugs for a jeep. Other than that, they were courteous, informative and included my opinion when it came to the work.

I have never used Midas for anything before. I got an estimate for new front brake pads and decided to check around to make sure I was getting the best price. Hands down, Midas was careful to check the brakes and said just the pads needed replaced and everything was in great shape. Also, their price was $105.00 less than the other repair shop. So happy to have found these nice people. Quick, clean, knowledgable and honest. Cant ask for more.

Just needed a headlight bulb and wiper blade. They took care of it right away at a very reasonable price.

They charged for labor work very expensive. The only thing they had to do-just change bulb. Check what they are doing! These people cheat you.Update.2 years after that situation. Very bad service. Wanted to get oil change. I was kept 7 min on hold and then they hang up. Called few times back, on second time got very rude answer and on third time long hold again. Will never ever recommend this place to anyone. Owner should check how his employees work.

Was here from out of town and ended up with a super annoying exhaust leak. This is truly frustrating as Im a head fleet mechanic for a large contractor in New York so I dont ever take any of my vehicles to repair shops. The guys here are very friendly, do their best to get you in and out, seemed very honest as well. I was in and out in about 10 mins. Now thats service! Thank you guys again!

There are many places I can take my care that are much closer but this place is the best if you ask me. The service is hometown, friendly and the prices are very reasonable. The waiting room is a bit old but I am not there for a pretty waiting room. If i wanted that I could go to a dealer and pay big prices which help pay for the waiting room. Its hard to trust someone working on my car because of all the scams mechanics can pull but this Midas location has earned my trust. I will not be taking my cars anywhere else but here. Great job guys

Came down to Myrtle beach on vacation to have a problem with my shifter not going into park. Scheduled and appointment and they got me in the next day. Danny told me a cable was stretched out and he could either tighten the cable or have it replaced. I asked him to just tighten it back up to make it back to PA. Tommy at the front desk is probably the best customer service person I ever dealt with in my life. I was there for about 2 hours and we had a conversation the whole time I was there like we knew each other for 20 years. After figuring out what the issue was and tightened the cable back up Danny handed me the keys. When I was waiting to get my bill for about 2 hours of work Danny looked at me and said “don’t worry about it have a safe trip home”. If I ever have car issues again I will be sure to go back.

Had car trouble while on vacation. They got me back on my way quickly. Service was great and the people could not have been any nicer. They turned a stressful situation into a positive experience.

I originally went in the shop for an inspection on my van. They couldnt even get that right, they had the wrong year and the wrong VIN number. So I had it done elsewhere. I went back to get my money refunded and had them look under my car at sway bar bushings. After the mechanic was done he parked my vehicle infront of the garage. Shortly after it was parked there one of their 18 year old workers back into my vehicle with another customers vehicle. So the manager Dan said to take it to a certain shop and theyll pay for it. I threatened with police and he told me its private property and they wouldnt do anything but the shop will pay for the repairs. So I then demanded a check for the estimate and he agreed. That was Friday afternoon now on Monday I send an estimate and they dont like the $2000 estimate so the owner Joel said theyre now contacting insurance and will be in touch within 24 hours. So they lied. LIARS.Update, now that Ive filed a $7500 lawsuit, almost a week later the insurance guy contacts me and during our discussion he seems to think the other customers car was not damaged. Well it was all scratched up and was falling off the car after the child worker hit my car with it. PROOF IS IN THE VIDEO WHICH WILL BE DISPLAYED AT COURT AND THE JUDGE WILL DECIDE WHO GETS WHAT.Do yourself a favor and take it to another shop.

Willing to work with you and offer a decent price for an oil change plus tire rotation! Took a little longer than expected but were super friendly and didnt sell me things I didnt need.

I tried to play mechanic myself and recharge me a.c. I apparently over filled it.my car was making awful noises, idling rough, sputtering and blowing warm air. Called up Midas to see what kind of rates for a.c. work. Was told a diagnostic was 29.99 whatever work needed would be extra. Brought it in to at least find out what the problem was. I fully expected to have to pay several hundred dollars in repair. They took my car in immediately. About 30 min later the manager comes in to get my name and car info. Im thinking to myself oh great hes probably looking up a new compressor. Then he turns to me and says ok that will be 29.99. I was amazed. I left with ice cold air and all the other problems solved. Im not 1 to write reviews often but i really appreciated the honesty and not telling me i needed to replace anything. Was super impressed.

If I could rate zero stars I would. Never had any issues with my car ever went to Midas for an oil change and my car smelt awful like it was on fire. I went home and my husband who works on cars looked at it. I was left with NO oil in my car nor any coolant. Will NEVER return to this place again!

Went to the shop today to have my Acadia looked over for a few issues. The main concern about the rear wasnt addressed and I was given a price for $2500 for my rack and pinion and two other shops came in over a grand cheaper. I was also told the motor mounts need replaced and they said a grand and I was quoted half that and told they didnt need done immediately but show wear. Im not sure if the mechanic there couldnt handle the work and over priced it or they tried to rip me off.

Extremely rude, poor customer service, it was like we were bothering them when we bring them our car to diagnose. Older gentleman was very rude to my wife when she brought the car in. I Called to find out what was wrong and they said bring it to the dealer. I asked if they can tell me anything they responded with yeah bring it to the dealer. So i picked it up. Will never go back. They use to be professional.

Some of the most rudest people I have ever encountered, worst service of all and the guy who was supposed to only change my oil broke my driver window and now will not go up or down and the manager told me that’s not his problem nor responsible! Staff are very friendly and accomadating,Tony took me into the bay and showed me the problem with my brakes,they dont do any work without you knowing whats wrong.My caliper sliders were all seized up and had to be freed,they even took me to a bank as I dont like to use debit.I highly recommend this Midas for service work especially if you are from out of the country(Im Canadian)A little costly but you get what you pay for.

Total ripoff...I was charged over 215.00 for 2 engine hoses that you can buy at AutoZone for about 80.00. They also charged me over 40.00 for 2 gallons of antifreeze which goes for about 20.00. The owner was very arrogant and evasive when questioned about how the cost for these parts were determined. Stay clear from this Midas.
