No experience yet...............am trying desperately to find the Trustworthy and Honest Repair shop I had for 30 years in PA.......HERE! Already had two bad experiences....................a bit gun shy. As a matter of fact.............have a set of new rear brake pads for my wifes car needing put on after I left last shop. I know shops hate to use customer supplied parts often because of mark ups etc ........... but consumers also are wary and savvy too. Nothing meant about this place in that statement. Seems if I am paying the hourly rate for a mechanic and shop is making money too............should be a win win regardless?

Great service been going there for years

I was not impressed with the customer service. After reading all the Google reviews I figured this was the place I needed to take my car so I called to make an appointment. The guy who answered the phone seemed busy and in a hurry ... okay I get that... he said you didnt have time to get my car in, that I would have to make an appointment for a week later but that he was going to look into my issue and call me back. I never got a call back. 🤔 So about 4 days later I drove over there to talk to someone in person about making an appointment. Again, I got the same impression that the gentleman at the counter either did not want to be bothered or was too busy to talk to me. But as I look around there were no cars being worked on. OooooK maybe everybody was on lunch?🤔 Then.. The same guy, while shutting the door as we were in the middle of a conversation, told me to come back in another week and they could take a look then. Soooo I did just that. Finally, they gave me an estimate of almost $1,300 but told me it would be at LEAST another week before they could even start it. So I went up the street to Goodyear and they got it in the next day. What a waste if my time. Oh well, I guess I wont rush back there again. They missed out on a $1,300 job...

Ive know Bob for the better part of 30 years. They are not crooks. They are good honest mechanics and do what you ask them to do and they are more than fair priced, I have NEVER had an issue there.

I would highly recommend Averill Automotive to anyone. But whatever you do, if you are having a transmission issue, you not take your vehicle to Tads transmission shop. I did one time and it ended up costing an additional $4,000 to repair the damage that Tads did to the transmission of my truck. Even after I paid Averill to do a tune-up on my truck that wasnt necessary. Dads kept telling me that it was a tune-up I needed on my truck. I spent 23 years working on vehicles, but never ran into this kind of theft in my entire life.
