Just make a note that when you send out technicians to St. George make sure you know that it is quite a distance from Charleston and if the time is later in the day, the traffic is bad. This is only made worse with all of the construction going on all over the highway.

I called One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning on Saturday morning at 9am because our AC was not cooling. The technician John Maggenti called 10 minutes earlier before arrival at 11:00am. He was very friendly and explained what he is going to do to check the AC. After a thorough inspection he explained the issues and recommendations to fix. Amazingly he had everything with him. The service and installation techs were great. Very professional, informative. This was my second unit replacement and both field teams were great.I was however, shocked, when service manager Mike inflating his quote by 50% ($3600 vs $2400) less than 2 days after providing the initial quote.I needed the system replaced quickly, so I accepted the upcharge. But I will likely NOT use 1 Hour again for large or replacement jobs again.

Almost a year ago we called them to help with our AC system which was about 12 years old. Kendall was very helpful and provided us with an easy and painless fix that would last us for about a year with our financial situation we couldnt really afford to get a new part or get a new unit at the time. He was correct and sure enough our unit finally died out and we called One Hour Heating and Cooling that day. They were able to dispatch kendall back to our home within 30 minutes. He was very helpful and given our circumstances and his past work on the unit was able to set us up with a new unit at a low price. The next day Zach and one other guy were over at 9am and quickly got to work. Kendal informed me it would take 6-7 hours to install but these guys got it done in 4-5. My house is now cool and my dogs are happy. Truly great company they take care of their customers. Also worth having a membership to them it covers a lot :)

You get what you pay for folks. Kendall was literally at my house within an hour. He quickly fixed my hvac unit and helped get rid of a pest that took 3 hours to find! We both agreed it was best to get a new unit, of which I knew before he arrived. We quickly came to a deal and finished the next business day. The whole experience has been amazing. I was referred by other customers who also had an amazing experience.

The technician Steve was very nice, knowledgeable and prompt. The only downside to this company is the prices, we paid over $300 for a clogged drain to be cleared. I will note that it was what they consider after hours, but when you work a 9-5 job calling at 5:30 once you notice an issue to me isnt considered an after hours call since someone over the age of 18 has to be home to allow the technician to enter...

Carlos went above and beyond the call of duty when cleaning out my dryer vent. He hit an obstruction and spent quite a bit of time working it out. He got out a ton of lint and what looked like dry straw. This was a serious fire hazard. If it wasnt for his great effort and work I could have had a fire!! He also did a great job serving my HVAC system!! My system is ready for the coming fall/winter, and my dryer vent is clear of debris!!Thank you!!

Came in listen to what I told him. Check out system, found the motor has stop working. Also found a lot of damp fungus. Show me different cleaning devices that could keep it clean. Good job is an understatement for what these guys did for me yesterday.... they went way above and beyond to truly find my issue in which ALL of your other techs missed, the previous techs have cost me so much money on my electric bills and the cost of having them come out to check whats going on due them not being thorough. Im begging you that if I have another issue could you please send these guys back to my house. Ive told other techs what I thought the issue was and they truly never checked out what I was saying it could be and by them doing that they missed huge problems with my unit. I was going to cancel your monthly service but then you sent these two young men to my house and I have complete confidence in your company once again. They were able to send someone out in less than 24 hours, and Ivan was great. He was super nice and was able to figure out what was going on with my ac right away. It was a little pricier than I expected, especially since the diagnostic fee doesn’t get waived when you pay for the actual repair, but I received great quality of service.

I called One Hour in the morning and a technician arrived in the afternoon and repaired our system quickly. Our system is still covered with warranty and there was no charge. We rely on One Hour and feel they are a trustworthy business.

We were given estimates on repairing our heat pump system or replacing our system. We chose to replace it. We were given all the information very professionally to make an informed decision. Mr. Allen has been a pleasure to work with to this point. We are looking forward to the system being installed and the existing ducts being cleaned. The heat pump system has been installed by Zack and Peter, and they did a fantastic job. Brian and Xavier cleaned and sanitized our duct system today and they did a great job. Lathan has been a pleasure to work with to this point.

Two weeks ago. My AC leaked water. The company sent one guy but he didnt fix the problem. The leak was getting worse. Steve Galloway came in this afternoon. He found out the problem and fix the problem(I hope). He also cleaned the water out from the emergency pan( almost full). I gave Steve Galloway five stars. Wish the other workers do better job.

I had a problem with my A/C that was causing water damage to my bedroom ceiling. I called 1 Hour Heating and Air at 1130pm to get service as soon as possible. I was told they didn’t have anyone in the area but that someone could come to my house at 8am. I said that was fine. I woke up early and waited a bit. At 830 I called the company number because I hadn’t received a call and nobody had shown up yet. She told me, “You do have an appointment today but your technician is on call and isn’t scheduled til noon. He has one person before you so we’re looking at between 2-4pm.” I told her that I had called the night before but that was all she could do. I cancelled the appointment and called Carolina Cool, who showed up in less than an hour and was at a cheaper rate. The technician was very friendly. I’ll never call 1 Hour Heating and Air again. I had guests from out of town, so the situation was inconvenient for all. But the fact that I had an appointment time with someone who wasn’t on the clock yet blew my mind- it was a terrible customer service experience.

The representative was EXCELLENT! He was polite, courteous, and awesome to work with. He made this experience so much better so I deducted only one star.I was not happy that the initial installer did not do a good job of putting in the device that keeps bacteria from growing in my AC line (I paid for it but it wasn’t working). I’ve had the unit less than a year and I had to call them because my air was on and off intermittently as evidenced by my electronic thermostat being off and on. I should not have had this issue so soon.

They came out and looked at the unit. Cleaned it up and found the problem. Explained what was needing to be done to have a stunning smooth AC. Explained what each part does. Recommend other tips as well. Im satisfied.

I called because our ac was not cooling. The tech came and immediately told us we needed a new unit. He quoted a price of more than 8,000.00. He checked for a leak and said it wasnt leaking. They charged almost $300 to charge the coolant, which only lasted 24 hours, big waste of money. We called someone else and he found a leaking valve. He changed the valve and charged the Coolant and we were told that the unit was good and didnt need to be replaced and only charged $100. One hour was more concerned about selling a new unit than trying to fix an easy problem. If you need an ac repair call someone other than One Hour I wish I had.

We have been having difficulty with our thermostat changing auto from air to heat. One Hour has been standing by their service by sending someone right away to look at it. When the first return visit did not work they sent Steve to handle. He went through the whole process and changed the back board to the thermostat and so far it is working. Thank you One Hour for standing by your customers!!

Paul arrived promptly at 9am. He checked our HVAC system and did an assessment. He wrote down what he found and his recommendations. After getting our go ahead, he cleaned the blower in attic which had many layers of mildew and dust, and he put a compressor saver and new capacitor on outside unit. We felt that he was very honest. He didn’t pressure us into anything.We were pleased with our service. 🙂

The service was timely, clean and neat. That being said they rake you over the coals price wise knowing you are in need of replacement with people staying at your place. Becoming more apparent that they ripped me off as I find out prices that people near me paid through other companies. To add insult to injury the price was gouging and they were getting back a blower motor I just had put in by them a few months ago so they could reuse it and they claimed to be giving me back the money that I paid for service the night before.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.Take this from someone who spent the last 4 months ordering parts for them.I was hired on as a parts runner. Moved up to Parts Order because they needed someone to fill the position. Position included ordering parts, taking phone calls, filling invoices, and much much more for THE ENTIRE COMPANY. They REFUSE to hire more people to fill the positions theyre intentially leaving vacant STRICTLY so they can make more money. Prices are INSANELY above market value. This place is ROBBING YOU BLIND. The Install Team has no idea what theyre doing. Guarentee theres a 70%+ chance your brand new equipment you paid 20k for is inoperable within the first 3 months due to them rushing in non-trained people. Ignore the 5-star review. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

We called 1hr Heating and air-conditioning for help because our AC stopped working. Carlos was at our condo within an hour and had our AC working in 20 minutes. One could describe Corey as a Master Installer, He is highly experienced, very knowledgeable, and has a positive attitude. It was a positive experience to have Steve working at my house as well. They both worked hard and fast to install the new HVAC at my house.

Corey and Mike were outstanding!!!!!! I had One hour install a new system 3 years ago and it has never worked properly. Tech after tech came out and all said it was something different. Russell met with us to get it resolved. Corey and Mike came out yesterday at 8am and didnt leave until 830pm. I believe they have fixed the issues that we were having with the unit, only time will tell but they were taking readings and calculations for static pressure etc. Im very happy with them and thankfull fkr all of thier time and effort.

Robert was wonderful! He explained all my options and walked me through the whole process in a manner which made me feel very comfortable in my final decision to purchase a new unit. I sincerely believe he was helping me make a choice that was in my best interest as the customer, which isnt always the case with a lot of other companies. I would highly recommend One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning to my friends and family.

Kendall is awesome. He called to confirm appointment and arrived on time. He has a great personality. Kendall was very knowledgeable of his craft; thoroughly explained what he was doing and the contract. He patiently answered all of our questions. Kedall was very honest and straightforward.

Robert was so kind and respectful and was very informative! True gentlemen and great service. He represented the company and his knowledge of everything with the best interest in mind for how to make our air quality better! !
