Was awesome. Went to bike week and went into Harley-Davidson hot rod but awesome loved the bikes clothing everything was great

This is the coolest motorcycle shop in the Muskegon area. We had a great time at bike time this year! Theyre close by to Muskegon Lake and Lake Michigan.

I have been to a lot of harley dealerships and this one was pretty good. People are very friendly and there is a display of older bikes in and around the facility. It was well laid out with lots of room and a great selection of items. There were not a lot of new bikes but there were some very nice used ones at really good prices.

Had an issue while on the road cross-country . Pulled into Hot Rod Harley Davidson to see if I could get it fixed. The service writer checked with the technician, Devin, and he jumped right on it. Got my problem fixed and me back out on the road in just about an hour. Great service, great care taken of my bike.!!

Great host to Muskegon Bike Time

Did the rider to rider, drove out from Detroit. They were helpful, honest, and the whole transaction was smooth like butter. Great staff tons of bikes. To be honest if my deal fell threw I was leaving on a bike either way since I was already approved threw harley. They even helped me load my new bike on the trailer. A1 guys!

Called parts department for a dunlop american elite tire for my bike. parts guy said he would have to order it and not sure on when they get it due to back order. Got a tire for my self on line called service department to have put on only to tell me they wont put on because I didnt buy from them.Update 9/2/21General manager Josh contacted me about this issue he was very helpful and understanding. Shout out to Adam and the guys in the service department. Brought my bike in to get ready for the season. The turn around time of 1 day was excellent. The new white walls look great. They even went above and beyond and rode it home for me because I was out on the road and couldnt make it back by closing time.

Probably the most caring knowledgeable staff even though it was bike time in Muskegon they made me feel like I was the most important person in the building I highly recommend Hot Rod Harley-Davidson

Weve bought 2 bikes from hotrod and have had all our service done there, i Got my bike in for service sooner than I expected, friendly staff, willing to do what it takes to make the customers happy, unfortunately the guy in the service dept dropped the ball seriously.The bike sat there for a week and a half with no phone call about whats wrong then turns around and the extra set of keys I paid for they failed to give them too me or leave them on the bike. I Honestly dont know if well have anymore interactions or transactions here any longer.

Harley motorcycle is okay but overrated. The Insolence and Arrogance of the majority of Harley enthusiasts is unwarranted and unwelcome. We are not garbage because we choose to ride Honda, kawasaki, Suzuki, Indian or any other bike.

Great place to buy your Harleys and shop for many items in thier store. They recently hosted the MCL Det.703 and collected donations, which they donated to the Marines. Thanks you Hot Rod Harley-Davidson. Ride safe you all ! Ooorah!

Hot Rod Harley is seriously the best! I recently purchased a bike from them and the entire process was amazing. Everyone there is the greatest, from sales to parts I couldnt recommend any other dealership ever. After my purchase I had a lowering kit added and I swear it was like they built a bike that was made for me. I will always tell people about my experiences there and about what a great bunch of people work there. If youre looking for a bike head out there, you will NOT be disappointed

It is definitely clean well set out and quite a lot of items in there and quite a few novelty bikes on shelving.

Tried selling my dads Freewheeler to Grand Rapids Harley Davidson and couldn’t even get them to return my phone call. So I called Hot Rod instead. Johnny and Josh were extremely helpful and great to work with. I’ll drive the hour to Muskegon from now on anytime I need my Harley fix.

This is the best Harley dealer in Michigan hands down. Weve bought a couple new bikes from them, and have never been let down. Including sales, parts, and all the way to service. They are always up to the challenge in every way. They treat us like family. They know is on a first name bases, That means a lot to us. When we need anything they go the extra mile to help us, and thats goes for every department. When were ready for another new bike, I wont shop around, I know theyll make it right for us. Went in to buy some parts, got those. Asked for some help locating a motorcycle for the wife to ride comfortably. They were able to find a few different bikes that fits the wife great. Very happy with the very knowledgeable and respectful staff. The wife and I will be coming back in if and when we need assistance with our bikes or if we decide to purchase a new one. Update from previous rating. Weve been in a few times. Always have felt like were welcome and over all enjoyed coming to Hot Rod. But after purchasing an expensive leather jacket in Oct, only wearing it twice and having a failure. Well Ive now changed my rating from 4 to 5 stars and would add 5 more for your motorcloths manager Erin. She went way above and beyond for me as Im about 2 hours away one way. I really dont think the process could have been any better. Keep her around!

I was told to bring my bike down to see what it was worth after a while the gentleman comes back and says Josh doesnt even want to bother with it. Really what a way to run a business I will never give u guys my business ever again and I will tell all my friends how awful u really ate

This place is top notch compared to the GR Harley. Service at in GR cannot even come close to Hotrod in Muskegon. Hotrod is attentive and helpful- best Harley shop in the state. Hands down.

I needed some work done on my ultra classic so I went to social media for help. Gray the GM message me and we went over what needed to be done and he gave me a rock solid deal! He sent me to josh in the tech department a he was really nice and personable as well. Had a couple hiccups but that comes with working on a older bike. Willie the motorcycle tech did a amazing job and I couldnt be happier. I will be doing all my shopping and service work at hot rod from here on out. Thanks again guys for your help!

Very nice selection of used and new bikes. We were visiting during the bike time rally it was a good place to take a break. They had a lot of activities going on.

Never ONCE have they had replacement parts that I’ve needed for my bike. They can always “order” them. Well no fake, I can do that too.On a side note, if you speak out about what they’ve done to what once Bike Time they will censor/ remove your thoughts so that they stay looking decent.It’ll be a cold day before I step foot into Hot Rod or Holeshot again.Hope they both close shop.

Josh was my primary salesperson, and he was exceptional in his knowledge, patience, and information shared. Didnt oversell . . . was a good listener . . . and I believe, honest in his assessment of the best bike for me. Roy has always been a friendly, smiling face, and he was always available for practical information or just a casual conversation. Personnel in Parts (Steven) and Clothing (????) have ALWAYS treated me courteously.

Replacing the bolts should have been a easy task. It was done wrong. It shouldnt take a half hour to put 2 bolts in.So I had to ride back up there to have them do it right up

These guys make sure you get the bike that fits you like Cinderellas glass slipper. Not once did I feel pressured into making a purchase the first time I walked into hot-rod. As far as Harley shops go this is a great location and one of the nicest stores to go in. Wish they had more merchandise. Always have a nice selection of bikes though.

I took my rider training here. The staff was super supportive and made the task fantastic. The selection of everything needed to make riding a pleasure is awesome. From the new and used machines, to apparel and gear, its a one stop shopping destination.

I always receive the best service from Chris in the service dept. He is extremely knowledgeable and lets me know all my options, even if it is not what I originally asked about. As long as I am in Michigan, I would not have anyone else service my scooter.The Parts counter is very knowledgeable, and if they do not know the answers to my questions, they search it out, and are very helpful. Love Hot Rod Harley Davidson. I am very happy I started my relationship there. I purchased my scoot, and have it serviced there, and purchase accessories for it there. Thank you

The farmers market is always a great experience for me and my kids. We walk there every week. Shopping for fruits veggies and flowers of all sorts of things is interesting and many things to discover

The staff was absolutely outstanding. No pressured sales tactics here; you can tell everyone is interested in riding and wants to talk about it. Hot Rod had a great selection of bikes to choose from and made the purchase of my Electra Glide a no-brainer. Ill be back!

I dropped off my Super Glide at Hot Rod on Saturday afternoon to have them move the foot controls. Monday afternoon my bike was done! Not only did Hot Rod get the work done fast, they helped me with the price of unexpected parts needed and they did an excellent job. The staff was great to work with as well. Very happy with the service!

Sales person was friendly. I would not recommend the service for department. First time they put too much oil in, I had to drain some out. They forgot to tighten the belt. Now I had a flat because the tube was bent during installation. Not to mention this is the second bike they have made mistakes on. First bike the transfer case cracked because during an oil change they overfilled the oil which caused damage.

What can you say about Harley-Davidson it is all American can never ever go wrong with that Id recommend it to anybody whos American

I drove to Muskegon from the Lansing area because I found a Low Rider I loved for an awesome deal. I did most of my inquiring online due to the distance. Not only were John and Jon prompt, professional, and caring in the store, but as well over the phone/ email. When you arrive to Hot Rod they instantly make you feel right at home. It seems everyones top priority is to get you the bike of your dreams, and have fun with you while doing it. Very pricey!!! I went in here to simply find a cool t-shirt for my brother...the prices were outrageous! Even the sale rack looked like normal priced merchandise. I left with nothing...Ill order on line and not waste my time here again.

We have been seriously considering trading up to a newer bike (have a 12 ultra glide ) but we wont be doing it at hot rods. Sales people never even acknowledged we were there. They were too busy talking to each other about how hard they worked with bike time in town. Guess they already made enough money for the weekend. Wont be back.

Bought a bike from a guy who purchased and maintained bike at Hot Rod HD. Went by today 8/7/19 at 3:15 to schedule service and waited for someone to come to the service desk. At 3:30 still waiting decided that this is not the place to get a bike maintained let alone buy. Lady in showroom was nice and appreciated Veterns parking.
