Delicious cheese! Stopped here as part of the Muskegon County Depot to Depot self guided tour. So glad I did. I got their best seller, Irish Cheddar as well as some MSU smoked Gouda. I will be back!

Honestly a disappointing experience for the first time ever, Ive been to this place many times in Muskegon over Im guessing 10 years. I went this July when we were up in Muskegon and I have never felt less welcome in the store. The clerk that waited on me didnt want to be bothered with me and would only allow me to taste three cheeses. Im sick of all of this stuff about covid-19 and the excuses that everything is because of covid-19. Dont get me wrong I am not writing them a two because of only tasting three cheeses but I am writing them a two just in how I was not welcomed at the store and the clerk was less than thrilled to be bothered by me

I dont know where to begin, or how to do this place justice...but let me try: WOW! Hows that? So many types of cheeses, it almost overwhelms! We brought half a dozen different ones home, and have tried half of them...all hits so far. But there is so much more to their business, its impossible to do it justice in a short review. Huge selection of flavored oils; crackers; pastas and sauces, and so much more. Love this place!

Great place if you like cheese of all kinds, as well as unique olive oil and imported pastas. The staff are delightful and helpful. Check the hours though, the days and times are a bit odd.

Very nice store with very helpful, pleasant staff. There was a lot more to the Cheese Lady than cheese. They had honey, local maple syrup, gifts, flavored vinegars and assorted oils plus more.Well be back.

Service was incredible. It was a little overwhelming, but the woman that helped us was nice and very helpful. The olive oil we got was amazing too! You get what you pay for, and this place is a real gem.

Staff was very helpful with making recommendations for what we were looking for. There was a vast array of different cheese options and I learned Ive been saying gouda incorrectly. Id recommend stopping in some time and trying out something new.

I visited family in Muskegon for a weekend and I was told about this place. Im from Michigan City, Indiana and was floored by Muskegon in general but mostly so by this establishment. I asked for Roquefort cheese and was given something worthy to be served with a 50 dollar steak. In addition I was offered a generous sample of literally every cheese in the house and I was beyond impressed with the quality of the premium products offered, enthusiastic service and realistic prices. It doesnt get better than this!

My family is in love with cheese. We planned on visiting The Cheese Lady but kept putting it off because I was intimidated. I’m not a cheese expert and didn’t know if I’d feel comfortable picking cheeses to buy.We visited between Christmas and New Year, likely their busiest time and felt so welcome! The ladies at the counter will greet you with a smile and a willingness to give you samples of any cheese you’re interested in. They offered us their most popular cheeses and we quickly selected a variety to take home.The prices are amazing too. I thought I’d save some money buying aged Irish Cheddar at the grocery stores but the Chesse Lady is basically the same price with far superior quality.

Great spot for international cheeses, oils, vinegars, and some honey. In addition to high quality selection, the service here is great. They know about their products and theyre friendly with questions.Everything is high quality with a number of premium, top notch items. One variety of balsamic vinegar, imported from Italy, is oak barrel aged for a decade, or more. Bottom line: The best by far Ive ever had, at a reasonable cost.

Normally very happy with my purchases there. All excited from purchasing some cheeses and crackers. Wanted to get some good italian oil for dipping bread. However, was given the wrong olive oil. Wanted to exchange it for what I originally tasted. Even bought a loaf of bread to use to dip it in. Christmas Eve, opened the bottle poured some in a small dish. Dipped the bread, and couldnt believe, she had given me the wrong oil! They would not exchange it because it had been opened.I was even going to purchase an extra bottle. I made a trip over there for nothing. If you go there be sure you check to see if they put the right product in your bag!Thank you so much for responding to my post. I went back and was able makean exchange and get the olive oil that I originally wanted! I love your shop as well as doing business with local retailors. I love The Cheese Lady! Even if you know nothing about cheese you can go in and walk out happy. They are very knowledgeable about their products and willing to suggest different kinds for what your needs are. Not to mention THEY LET YOU TASTE TEST!!! I never leave without a big bag full of cheese. They also have a great selection of infused olive oils! Very friendly and patient staff (Im very indecisive) Definitely a must if your in the Muskegon area and its right next to the farmers market!

Omg. Not sure how, unless you just really dont like cheese, you could not LOVE this place! These ladies know so much and patiently share their knowledge. Their suggestions are spot on! Browse around b/c theres lots of other goodies. Saw some ice cream bars that sounded amazing...I plan to try them next time!

Love this place. A must go visit if you are in Muskegon. They let you try before you buy so you know you will like what you get. I always leave with at least 3 favorite cheeses and a bottle of balsamic vinegar.

If you havent been to the Cheese Lady, you havent lived. I dont know how many different kinds of cheeses they have here, but I would guess its at least one for every day of the year. Always helpful and will let you try anything you want.
