The employees here are Fantastic! So helpful and happy to be there. We were camping nearby with no water source. Every day they took our big jug to the back and filled it for us. On the hottest day, we had our dogs in the jeep so one of the girls walked me through the store so I could quickly find what I needed.

Everytime I go to this store, I immediately regret it. Its always a huge mess.. items on the floor.. bare walls & shelves.. broken/dirty items.. the staff is always very polite.. I feel as though they are very understaffed.. needs to be cleaned & organized!!

Why is this stor we so ghetto? Why are all the family dollars so ghetto. They say they close at 9 on the website and the door, but you go and theyre closed at 8:50! From now on it will be Family Dollar, then they got a parking lot full of customers! Just close all these ghetto stores!

I just wanted to Thank whomever the gentlemen was that waited on me a few days ago. I had just put my dog down and was in there with my daughter buying flowers and crosses to out on her grave. This man took it upon himself to pay for all of our stuff ❤ I cant thank him enough ❤❤❤

Saw a real live action stealing commence here! Was just like being in an episode of cops....minus the cops. He got away. But was exciting for a moment. Would definitely go back.

I stopped going here because there were carts of product everywhere. You couldnt even get to what I needed. When I went today it was much better.

I shop at Dollar General because they offer a wide range of household items and food that other Dollar stores do not offer, at a reasonable price. Brillo Pads. These are hard to find. Yet, Dollar Tree has them. Disposable gloves for household tasks, yet strong enough for multiple use. Tasty cookies at a savings of as much as $2.50, down from grocery store chain prices. Writing pads and household cleaning products. I use the bus as my primary means of transportation. It makes a difference to me that I can find what I need, when I need it, at a price I can afford, with a quick visit to Dollar General. The stores are always clean and products are on the shelves. Dollar General is a good place to shop when you forget to buy things on your regular shopping list. Thank you Dollar General.

Its the pits. Store is a mess nothing is put away carts full of merchandise all over the place. Only reason I stop in its close. Ill go to D.G. any day.

They had great quality things that I needed. All for a great price. Customer service was good if not great. I recommend shopping here.

The girl at the check out was very professional about handling a guy who tried to walk out with ibuprofen stuck in his back pocket. I know times are tough, but come on. That hurts everyone. He paid for all his other stuff, but not that. Kudos to the lady behind the counter, and the lady who let her know! :)

This place is a hot mess, never stocked. Products are always in aisle, never available to purchase. Would recommend a third shift stocker for sure...

Muskegon mi beautiful if know where to go what to do

Very unhappy! I couldn’t find anything due to that fact that merchandise was all over the place. Clothes on floor, shampoos all over, and barely any walk room. This store makes all the other Muskegon stores look bad due to the tornado looking visit. Couldn’t find anything to the point where I spent 25ish minutes in the store and had to eventually rush and what I thought was face wash was not! Very disappointed. You should either get employees that will do the job or hire shifts for stocking and cleaning before the store opens..

The girl that was working, (wish i had gotten her name) was exelent. She was working alone because someone called in. She still gave me great customer service even though she was very busy. Thank u

The isles were full of merchandise and it looked like a tornado went threw...what the heck?

Its ok. Some stuff is priced pretty decent but other stuff way more expensive than Wal-Mart or Meijer. Decent selection too.

I always love to save money but they were picked over so much of what I wanted was not found. They really needed to stock on household items.

Shelves are always empty. Stock is in the aisles in boxes. I wont go back

The ONLY Dollar General in all existence that isnt trashed. Clean store, stocked shelves, merchandise is actually organized. Great customer service as well. Keep up the great work. Perhaps the other locations will follow your example.

These stores have excellent prices, great products & super service at every single one Ive visited. The stores are always very clean as well.

Last week visited twice ..both times. .mid-morning..sign on door, closed for day. I am not a regular customer. But I will never be back!

Parking lot has garbage and also a liquor bottle that’s been there over a week obviously the maintenance is not kept up. Inside was the only good thing I hope they make the cleaning a priority In the parking lot cause it’s the first thing u see n also this is a good area for the location

Definitely needed one more employee to help stock. The store was messy and had carts of items to be loaded but I only saw two employees there.

This store used to be my favorite. Now it is Sadly very messy and product on carts but not on the shelves. Management should step up and fix the problems.Very disappointed customer

Store shut down at 5:20 because as the employee said there is no one to work.Not sure what she was there for done but they locked the doors and didnt post anything. Just leaving this review Ive watched 3confusee and then frustrated customers walk up.

Store was a mess, went for Halloween decor and they didnt have much but were already starting to put Christmas stuff on the shelves

Super friendly and helpful employees. This location usually keeps the aisles clean and clear enough for a walker to fit through too.

Most definitely one of my favorite places to shop!!!!! They have sooooo many good deals and things to get for your house! Cleaning supplies are super cheap, candles are cheap, clothes are kinda weird but the socks are great, I dont know about the undies, havent bought any of them from there. Cool stuff to decorate your house with too!

Was very neat and clean. Only contention was Digital coupons. When i went on 29th the ones i was trying to use did not actually come off and when i went in again they were having a problem with the App again. They were very helpful though and were able to take the 5.00 Saturday coupon off which was why i actually stopped today lol. Thanks Dollar General

Im always wondering why Dollar General has many massive carts of product everywhere. Why cant they stock after hours? This happens every time I go there, so I dont shop there as much as I used to.

I have been in a few DG . I know the holidays are busy and stressful. But here at this one on Apple Ave in Muskegon was vary pleasant to walk through. There are two on Apple Ave .This one was closer to all the other shopping stores. Clean, easy to find what I needed. Friendly staff at the check out. When you can walk through a DG with out running into boxs of store stock merchandise. It makes your shopping so much easier.

The shelves were quite empty. They must be getting ready for the next season. Very friendly employees.

One of the nicer Dollar General stores Ive been in. Nicely up kept. Doing some product moving so not sure how it looks at 100% but nicer store then the one by Apple and Creston.

The Dollar General on Apple near Creston is never adequately stocked, nor is product pulled forward. Products are always strewn about on the floor. And the place is dirty.

When you need to just run in and out or to grab a couple of things its a good place to shop!!!!😀
