I understand everything is going online but no matter what Ive looked for the last 3 times its never been here.wish they carried more fishing books and some automotive/small engine repair books.i like to look around and not always buy online.im glad theres still a physical store to go to.clean store.

I like bookstores, but with digital copies and online ordering, its harder and harder to find one with a decent selection. This most recent time I went here, they had 4 out of the 5 books I wanted, so that was better than I expected. Prices are reasonable and service is good.

Very clean and organized, even the clearance was well organized. Great selection of books, movies, audio books, memorabilia, etc. Also love having the coffee shop available if I dont want to wait until I get home to start reading.

I come here more often than I should, for my wallets sake. Its clean, staff is friendly, and the selection is usually decent. My only complaint, in comparison to other Barnes and Noble in west Michigan, is that the manga selection is pretty small. Which, for my wallets sake, might not be too bad.

Barnes & Noble is a great place to stop and read some books, magazines, and other periodicals. Not only for adults, but for children as well. They have a cool section for children to play with a Thomas The Train play set. They offer a great selection of toys. They have a Starbucks located here as well. They also have free WiFi. Their prices may not always be the cheapest, but they are competitive. And with their frequent buyers program, you save even more.

I love how barns and noble employee try their best to make the costumer experiences better. I also love how they care for every person that walks through their door. No matter their age. I also love how they will try there best to make anyone happy. For example, I went into the store not that long ago, and I saw a little girl crying because she lost her mother, and one employee can up to the little girl, calmed her down, and found her mother. I love seeing employee that care for their customers. That is why I will go there everytime I want a book, or just want a place to calm down.

A wonderful selection of all kinds of books including a nice section of adult coloring books. My Dad likes the adult level Legos. I dont utilize the kids section, but it looks inviting

Awesome book store. I really liked the wide variety of books and subject material to choose from, and the real Harwood finishing throughout the entire store was a beautiful touch. The gentleman who assisted me was very informative and courteous, and had a pretty good knowledge of ALL the authors and materials that I inquired about.Now, heres the kind of funny part.The female who was working at that time (not the cashier), I had no conversations with at all, as she seemed very busy stocking new books. But did shoot me a few eye rolls and stink-eyed glares, during my visit. By her very demeanor, she presented herself as, quite matter-of-factly, a member of societies Upper Crust, and clearly way above me as a human being, if course! lol, as if she was surprised that I can actually read, or something. Thus, proving once again, that sometimes you dont have to say anything at all to someone in order to come off as snooty & all together uptight.But I refused to let her stew in that frame of mind, and I just smiled at her, each time she glared at me.I counted this as a part of the experience of the visit, and left there feeling satisfied, having done her a true service. Perhaps, maybe, she will greet future guests with a bit more acceptance and look past the grey beard, and the print tee shirt, and see the person wearing it, and possibly even fight out a SMILE, or two.Not to mention the fact that I entered the store with my truly ridiculously STUNNINGLY beautiful wife, who, regardless of my own appearance, I always look my very best with, simply by being seen with her.Not saying I was underdressed or slovenly, by any means. In fact, I was actually dressed in entirely new clothing and shoes, and my hair was perfect! (a little on the grey side, but perfect, just the same). No lies, people, I was absolutely LIVE!But, whatever, I guess you cant please everyone, so I dont waste any time trying to. God bless that hoity-toity chic, and I hope she had a great rest of her weekend, too.Id still go back to this store again, every day, if I needed to, because its just that awesome!

Able to get best sellers I wanted for gifts. Very busy but plenty of cashiers got gift card and 2 books. Very pleased

I love Barnes and noble they have an amazing manga area.

It had a pretty decent selection of manga, and its getting a lot more light novels, which is fantastic. Only go for the most popular series at the time though, the selection shrunk since last time I was there, and they definitely have a shortage of first books of the series. However, the best part was the service. The workers were pretty busy but very polite and well mannered. A pleasant visit if only masks werent required.

I rarely buy physical books anymore because I have a kindle. Today for some reason I made an exception. Its been awhile since Ive been in a book store, so I did get to enjoy the experience. I was looking for a book on macrame, they only had a few, none i was interested in. The rows I was looking at were in disarray, (out of order) so I went through every book in that section. Good thing there were not that many shelves. Lol 😆. Not to worry, I had a pretty good time, as I wasnt in any rush. I looked at most everything there. Ill most likely go back.

I love this store! Before covid-19 it was a nice and cozy place to be at and it still is even after every thing that has been going on. Its spaced out enough that people can social distance and yet still have that cozy feeling. They still have a great variety of book, toys and writing materials. Showing that the company cares about safety of their employees and customers is why I will always go to Barnes and Nobel!

Friendly people and quiet place to enjoy the stacks of books

My Granddaughter needed a book for Kendall school of interior and design class ($80). The book was not in stock and B&N said they could not order it. So I ended up ordering from Amazon, which I intend to do from now on. I dont have to leave home and she gets what she needs.

Very efficient with getting in books I ordered and having them ready. The only thing I found below standards was there was not a cashier readily available two times that I was in there.

This location has a Starbucks as well, making it a perfect store. Fresh coffee + an insane number of books to browse = the best day ever! I do wish they still had seating areas throughout the store because of my health issues I cannot stand for very long and end up sitting on the floor. My son loves the train toys in the childrens section and I love finding so many leveled reader books for him. Overall one of my favorite stores and a great spot to meet a friend to catchup.

Friendly service and great selection

Wife and son went in to find a book, the woman that assisted them was very rude. This used to be one of my favorite places, but the customer service has been decreasing. I used to be in there once a week,, but have given up on Barnes and Noble. Because of this I have purchasing.my books from Amazon.

The cafe employees are so nice, but Half the time don’t know how to make the drinks correctly or up to the Starbucks standard. I guess from now on I will ask, “That comes with x shots right? Or x type of milk?” To confirm they are on the same page with the recipe! I was previously a master barista and its so disappointing! They need more training!

I love this store! Everyone is so helpful in finding everything you need. They have a huge selection and will order anything you need that is not in stock. I also love the puzzles they carry.

I always run into people I know. The customer service in the cafe is exponentially better than it was in years past.The comfy chairs are the best on snowy days when you just want to sit and read, and not necessarily be home.

I could copy-paste this review to any Barnes & Noble and thats my problem with the stores. I love bookstores. I grew up in them. For the last decade or so, B&N has moved from bookstore to large mall book kiosk. More and more of their stores are devoted to trinkets, games, and coffee shops while the book selection shrinks to the New York Times best seller list. I still enjoy browsing when I have a particular book to buy, but I dont enjoy going to B&N anymore to simply browse.This particular B&N is fine. The staff is friendly and the store is clean and welcoming. Unlike inside-mall stores, this is still mostly books instead of the trinkets, which I appreciate. I hope it stays that way a bit longer. Id rather a smaller footprint B&N with more books than a massive store with so-so selection.

Best place to find about any book youre looking for. The atmosphere is great and everyone is very helpful. The downside is most things are a little pricey compared to online prices.

I didnt notice the time before we got there. We knew what book we wanted. Walk in the door got stopped by the manager Howard. Can I help you find something because we close in 3 minutes. Would not let us pass. I said yes told him the book. He said NO I waited a few and asked what? Again he replied no. I asked what do you mean no? Well that book is sold out. I guess I can put you on a waiting list if you want to leave your name and number. I was so socked I have never been treated like that there before. Looks like I will shop online before going in there again

I prefer reading paper copy books instead of digital. Barnes & Noble is a great store for me to take my kids and browse the available books for something good to read. If I cant find a book I am looking for the friendly staff is always helpful in ordering. Granted I could order books on Amazon however I enjoy the experience of being surrounded by books.

This place is fantastic, huge selection of books, board games, electronic book devices, and so much more. Whenever I go here I end up staying for over an hour because I become so immersed in the books and games. There is an amazing children’s section that is colorful and playful. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. The Starbucks within the bookstore is amazing as well. If you are in need of books, or board games, this is the place to go.

I love the atmosphere in the B & N that I go to in Muskegon. Its so clean, great coffee, helpful staff, and great ideas for gifts. If I was rich I would go there every day and buy a book.

The staff are great to talk to if you need to find something that you cant find. The cafe is also pretty nice to eat at. Its one of the only places around that makes good Tiramisu.

I can always find what Im looking for here and if I cant, their friendly staff is always more than happy to help you locate and order it. There is a Starbucks cafe so you can enjoy a warm beverage and snack while you shop. The childrens are is brightly lit and well decorated so the whole family can enjoy their shopping trip.

You walk in and smell the fresh aroma of coffee beans. Clean and the staff are friendly. Its hot outside but nice and cool indoors. Plenty of books to choose from and if they dont have it in stock, they will order it for you. Soft, friendly music is playing in the background. Great atmosphere.

Large and well stocked, the floor layout doesnt change often making finding things frequently easy. The staff is always super pleasant too. Theres an attached Starbucks, but its as expensive as youd expect so dont plan on getting a cheap coffee or cookie while you drink, but it is a great place to relax while you read, albeit inconvenient in terms of location as the area is usually busy, especially around holidays.

Barnes & Noble definitely is a place to go for books, You could always buy books online with Amazon, But you will not feel the same experience as walking into a bookstore such as Barnes & Noble amd looking through the selections of titles.While ordering books online you will end up just searching what you want but at the store itself, you can browse any book they currently have and possibly find some interesting titles along with what you need. Knowing you can find and open any book in such stores is what gives Barnes & Noble life.The customer service is phenomenal due to having some technical issues with a current sale they had with manga, but was quickly resolved and allowed me to finish my purchase in a timely manner. Along with the fact that they sell more than just books is a great sign that you can usually come out with more than just what you wanted.The shelves are well organized and seem to be stocked every so often, not too late where it feels its empty but just enough to where you know people come and buy things, along with hosting events for children such as readings of books and much more I can happily give Barnes & Noble a 5 star rating.

We went here for a birthday party. The kids had a great time swimming, and then they played on the huge playground.
