They were fantastic. Instead of repairing things that would be to expensive they helped me decide on another route. Very honest and helpful. Kept me in the loop with updates on the service of my vehicle. I will use them again and recommend others to try them out.

They’re efficient, reasonably priced, and explain what needs explanation without making me (a non-car person) feel stupid. Highly recommended!

So, I meant to originally leave an actual review here but got busy lol . I had my truck towed here because the towing agency and myself could not break the nuts off the tire and it was flat, got my truck back in just a few hours when they could get around to it, no prob . Professional and cheap I know it wasnt much but still good professional easy going service .

First time customer at the Location on Whitehall Road. Rick was great. I really appreciated the detailed discovery. My brakes failed and this was the closet spot so I glided my car in. I had this problem a few days prior and took it to my local shop. I discovered my previous shop did not do the repairs correctly because of the detailed inspection and review given from Muskegon Brake and Tire. I took that list to my shop along with the part taken off my car. My local shop was great as they refunded me my money on that part and the labor. Also note Muskegon Brake and Tire got me done the same day. I was quoted around $50 less for the job, but seeing they got it done so quickly, the detail given, the quality of work done and Ricks friendly nature that put my mind at ease, it was worth it. My brakes were squeaking so I took my truck to Muskegon Brake. They were recommended by a friend. They fixed the problem quickly, and also gave me the results of their overall inspection pointing out several items that will need attention soon. Overall a good job at a reasonable price.

Made my appointment for 8am, had my vehicle back by 10:30, saved my front end by replacing the tierod end, even showed me on my pathfinder how dangerously close I was to a tow truck or major damage.Affordable and back on the road in a few hours. Highly recommend, and Rick knows his stuff.

Very personal and professional. Treated all of the customers with respect. They where very clear regarding necessary time for installation. They also worked extra hard getting manufactured parts delivered in a timely manner despite proposed delivery delays. This is a friendly and family oriented environment. They are my go-to for anything automotive.

Ah, details requested. Sure. Id be glad to describe our visit, if wed actually been able to make it through the door. The week of Sept. 7, I used the online service to set up an appointment time under my husbands name, for either Sept. 14 or 15. Received the automated reply, that we would hear back with a scheduled time. No response, and when my husband called on the 14th, he was told there was no appointment request.

Tires were wearing on insides so I went in for a front end alignment. A month after getting it done the tires are now wearing on outsides. So not only do I have to get another alignment done somewhere else, I also have to buy new tires again.

I took my car there this week...had to have 2 appts to get all the work done.(my fault not theirs) Brakes all around, ball joints, 2 new tires, oil change and alignment and it drives like a new car. Not only were they the best price Ive found, for all the work I needed, but they got it in as soon as they could and were very courteous. I will definitely go back again and refer friends. Always enjoyed going here for service but now it seams they charge more an hour, there quotes for parts and labor are just to high and I just cant afford them anymore.Rick has been there for ever and is great service writer.But rates have forced me to do the repairs myself.Good thing I can do the work.If you can afford their rates it a good place to get your car repaired.

Took my van in for what I thought was new brakes and they told me that it wasn’t time yet. It is rare to work with a shop that won’t just take your money for no reason. I can’t tell you how much this honesty means to me and I’ll be back plus tell all my friends.

I had them check my brakes and do a vehicle inspection on Tuesday. They fixed my ball joint and switched my tires out for $500. Nothing was wrong with my brakes or anything else that they found. Two days later I have to scrap my car because the piece of metal that hold my tensioner to my engine block snapped clean off. I don’t understand how something like that can be missed. Very disappointed. I won’t be taking my new car to them.

I had great service yesterday at MBT. Quick appointment and at work right away. I appreciated the thorough inspection and the notation of other things to be aware of.Yesterday I just had a tire repaired.However, I have since heard that MBT is the highest shop in town for other repairs. I’m not sure this is a fact but it does cause me to want to check around before getting more expensive work done.

Ive done business with Muskegon Brake for awhile now, just recently came back due to not being happy with other places I had been utilizing.

Rick is the only service advisor I trust. He and his guys do good work at a fair price.

They are an honest group of people. Before they started fixing my problem that would have cost a me a pretty penny saw that the car frame was crack and unsafe to drive, so the called me up and show me the problem and told me it was not worth fixing because it would cost more than the car itself. I didnt have to pay because they didnt do any work once they saw the crack frame, also referred me to an scrap yard that would pick it up.

I towed my car here when my transmission wasnt working properly and also was the closest shop. I was able to drive my car back home, but the transmission was in terrible shape. Transmission fluid was leaking everywhere, the oil pan was dented, wires were damaged... the list goes on.Extremely disappointed. Needless to say, Im never coming back.

Great group of guys. I live three hours away across the state and these guys treated me like I was a longtime local customer. I was staying with my family at Muskegon State Park and had a major issue with my wheel bearing while pulling my camper....barely made it to the shop. I had to check out of the campground by 11am and they had me up and running by 9:30. They showed me the broken and new part and talked me through some items that may need to be taken care of in the future. VERY reasonable price for a job well done...and saved my vacation!
