They get you in as fast as they can and always do a great job
I went in to get my tires mounted and balanced. when I asked what kind of wait it would be he got smart with me and asked if I expect him to drop everything for me. We had a few choice words then he chased me into the parking lot threatening to fight with me. Good business motto
Good shop, dedicated to getting it right for you. Ive taken multiple vehicles to them and they have always fixed my issues no matter how picky I can be lol
The owner of Copes auto repair did an amazing job on my vehicle. Well lets back up my 2012 equinox ltz timing chain slipped an my engine locked up. Had to get it towed to affordable auto in Shelby Michigan. Had to wait 2 weeks cause they were so booked cause of covid. Once they got around my vehicle they didnt even want to look at it. Had to ask the owner of the shop twice to look at my engine either way he says to replace it ill cost 6000 dollars. sounded like he was just trying to take advantage of people during the pandemic. Rude and not professional. told the owner that I would take my vehicle back once I save up enough money (as if) My dad suggested a place in Muskegon Copes auto repair. The people at this shop look at my vehicle the right way. this place has extremely good quality and value. they really try to give you the best deal for your buck. once everything was done and said it cost me 2850 which in my opinion is way better then affordable autos price for 6000. they owner of the shop went above and beyond to even work on my vehicle himself. The lady at the desk is a complete sweetheart how she takes care of her customers and will make things right and make you feel that you truly landed at a place that cares for you. i will be recommending my friends and family to this place cause of the beautiful people and work they do.
Great service at a great price! I highly recommend them.
They helped me out with a problem on my tractor mower - not there usual scope of work, but were about being helpful no matter what was needed.Highly recommend for there outgoing attitude.Thanks.
Matt at Copes is a class act and is trustworthy in everything he does in his auto repair business. He goes above and beyond to reach out, take care of his customers and not scam you with ridiculous or unneeded repair costs. He shows that the customers still matter the most!!! Props to him.
So finding a mechanic that you can trust is one of the hardest things to do! I felt that at Copes I had found just that kind of mechanic. I now feel Copes is more for making money and not about taking care of his customers. There is a lot of background that I wont bore people with but when you make an appointment with a business and that business fails to take care of you during that appointment and doesnt inform you it breaks the trust. When the business does finally get to your problem and gives you a call just before noon and still no work has been done a little more trust is broken. When you get to the business to pick up your vehicle and find there was almost 3 hours of diagnostic done but nothing is really fixed...trust! So 2 days tha tmy vehicle was there and $325 later...well I know what is wrong with my vehicle so I can take it somewhere else to get it fixed! Again if they would have looked out for the customer...they would have made a lot more than that because I would have had them fix all the problems....because I did believe and trust that they were about taking care of the customer! It is a pandemic and everyone is on edge...throw a broken car in the mix that you need everyday to do what you need to do and a person you feel you can trust lets you down...well needless to say I hope Copes goes back to how they were for the next customer through their door. I will have a hard time recommending them personally but maybe others have not had their trust broken and are still be taking care of the old way!
Ordered delivery for their entire shop, and not a cent tip for the driver. Are these the kinda people you trust to not rip you off and do it correctly?
Absolutely excellent service, friendliness, pricing, and all encompassing care for other equipment, ie. lawn tractor, snow blower, etc. Now, my GO TO PLACE.
Awesome people! Without a doubt best service too.
I am a very proud owner of a 2005 Corvette that was in need of a harmonic balancer replacement. Matt and the mechanics at Copes are all very professional and treated my baby like it was thier own. Extremely happy with the service and my car runs so great now! No more wobble worries for this Vett owner
They are very fast at getting your vehicle in & the mechanics are very professional & come out to personally talk to you about your vehicle. I love there is always Christian music playing in the waiting area. Would highly recommend them.

I paid almost $700 to have my flex plate (flywheel) replaced in my Chevrolet Silverado a few weeks ago and it still isnt done. I cant even get a call back from the owner. Sad thing is we went to school together.
