Very happy with the repairs that were done on my daughters clarinet and bass clarinet. My daughter was thrilled they are shiny like new! The tech also was very thorough on informing us of what they found. We just moved to the area and am thrilled Master Musician will be taking care of our instruments!

I went to the Master Musician on the spur of the moment; I needed my bari sax neck recorked. They were able to get the job done while I waited and the price was great. I also took a look at their accessory offerings; they have a good selection of reeds, ligatures, and other items for woodwind players.

Great place to buy or rent instruments; specially when you dont know a thing about them. Kim, the girl that help us, gave us 5star service. The man in charge help my daughter with the violin selections. I like the fact that you can rent them so if the kids change their mind (as usual) you can just return them. Or if they really commit to it, and get better, you can upgrade it for a higher quality item. I really like that service.

This was my first time visiting the store and I will definitely be returning for any future instrument needs. The gentleman working (sorry didn’t get his name! He was working Wednesday 9/30 at about 5:00pm) was SO nice, helpful and knowledgeable!! My son just started the saxophone and we were a little clueless but after leaving we felt way more prepared!!

I went to Desert Hot Springs for a few days and discovered I left my cable at home so I couldnt plug into my amp. I googled music stores and The Master Musician was the closest to my location. I went into buy a cable and came out with a Luna ukulele and a cable. My wife picked out the Peace Sign ukulele. My wife also liked the design on the Bass ukulele, so we bought it a couple weeks later! My wife isnt interested in learning to play the uke, shes into yard design and buying plants! I thank her several times a week for my ukes! They were actually her Anniversary gift to me! Denise sold me my first uke and karen sold me my Bass uke. There wasnt a case for the Bass uke and Karen Called Luna ukes and had them ship me a case. Excellent Service! Excellent Staff! This is the store I will recommend to my friends or anyone who asks for a Music store in The Palm Springs area!!!

Love the shop and the customer service! Also, their rent-to-own agreement is so flexible. You can trade up to a nicer or newer instrument or even to a totally different instrument without losing your investment. My daughters in 5th grade trying flute for the first time, so I love this flexibility.

3 days to pay on this flute... there credit card machine NEVER WORKS

Great place to go for all your musical instrument needs! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, wide variety of services. However, I would lean away from buying any brass or woodwind instruments from them, as their instruments are poor quality and tend to break rather easily.

I had a very pleasant experience at The Master Musician last Monday. Last Sunday my bridge to my violin snapped along with my strings. I went to the shop at opening the next morning and asked if I could get new strings, the luthier informed me that I needed a new bridge as well, the bridge I put was not properly fitted to my violin. I asked if he could fit me a new bridge, he said he could, but it wouldn’t be until after closing. I informed him that I had a conservatory the next day and he moved up my violin above other repairs! I received my violin with new strings and a new bridge within a couple of hours! This store really saved my week! I also performed pretty great with the new strings and bridge!

We have purchased music supplies from Master Musician for all three of our kids for years and have always had excellent customer service. We also did a rent to own on my sons trumpet and have been very happy with the rental rate and the trumpet itself. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Took my daughters saxaphone to evaluate for a repair. Was quoted $600 labor, and additional $150 for parts plus a necessary new case $150?? And the store fee. My nieces band teacher found 2 loose screws and replaced 1 cracked pad. Total $10.This place will try to take advantage of you and rip you off!!! Avoid at all costs... Scamers!!! Dont belive the pad bugs story!!! They want to hook u into a rental!!!

I love this music store. My kids are sounding great on the instruments we got and they always have the violin and piano books we need. I am happy to recommend to my friends and everyone.

My son dropped his trumpet and his mouth piece became stuck. I took it in and was very pleased with the help I got. Not only was the staff very friendly, they also educated me on our instrument. We are new to this and I had no idea all the care that was needed. I appreciated them taking their time to help me. We will be back! Thanks again for going beyond this moms expectations

A few months ago, I entered the rent-to-own program for a Yamaha violin. The instrument is very nice, and the staff is very friendly whenever I have questions as a beginner!

I rented my sons 1st clarinet frm here. I loved that it was rent to own. The clarinet needed repairs once during the 2 year rental period weve had it and they repaired it quickly and at no cost. They have a good selection of music and supplies to buy. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I am actually looking into renting our 2nd instrument frm them since my other son is joining band this year

We had NEVER owned a violin in iur lives. My daughter wanted to try the violin and the instructor suggested renting to own at this stoee. We rented 1/2 size supposedly new rent to own ( BY the way my daughter maybe played 3 weeks and both even that much on that violin) when the teacher said the violin was too big and we needed to exchange for a 1/4 size. When we exchanged the tech told us the bow was not it, and when we returned he did gave us a crapp bow that really lookes like it had been used for MONTHS and he told us that came from our box. Like i said, we NEVER owned violins before. Now we have a basic worthless bow back. And by the way. The bow that came with the 1/4 size does not look new and did not come wrapped in plastic. Just to be written somewehre so when we return you will not accuse us of returning something that we did not. Buyers beware and take pictures of what you rent/ buy or return.
