In used Yelp to invite Best Grarage Door to send a tech to fix my door and give me an estimate for a replacement door. They sent Medics instead (same outfit, various names?). I had contacted another company to come give me an estimate for the replacement door (I would compare various bids). This other company arrived first and in the process of inspecting the door cause the bracket to come off the wall; as a result he felt obliged to restoring it and started to work on it. At that point Medics arrived. I explained the situation. The tech from Medics was rude and arrogant. I asked for an estimate for a replacement door and he refused. I asked again and explained again the situation and he finally grudgingly agreed to send an estimate for a replacement door. He did send an estimate but it was not for what I asked for at all. On the plus side, they responded the same day fairly promptly.

The tech showed up on time. He looked like a professional. He listened and spoke like one as well. He accommodated my requests where he could, and explained where he could not, and what my alternatives were. I am confident in the work we had done. If problems arise, we will call this company once more to help.

Garage Door Medics came out right away, fixed the problem, plus additional problems without even be asked, then only charged for the service call--exactly what they quoted.The belt broke on my garage door opener so I needed someone to fix is ASAP/ Garage Door Medics quoted a price to come out and said any parts that are needed would be in addition to that. They were the best price so I asked how soon they could come out. It was late in the afternoon so they schedule me for first thing the next morning. They came out, fixed the problem without using additional parts then noticed the door was not raising all the way up (because of the way it was installed) and fixed it without even being asked.I will only use Garage Door Medics going forward and highly recommend them to anyone that needs a garage door fixed or installed.

After getting a quote from another individual, I called Garage Door Medics. I explained the problem I was having with my rolling gate on our driveway. The first individual said I needed new wheels to the tune of $480.00. He claimed to have fixed the problem until the wheels were available. The next day the door rolled halfway across the driveway and stopped. When I called him he said to go to the motor and fiddle with the drive belt. Thats when I decided to call Garage Door Medics. Antonio showed up about an hour after I called.and I immediately could tell he knew what he was doing. It wasnt the wheels at all. He lubricated the entire motor and chain and ordered the correct faulty part for much less than the previous guy. I have his business card and will only call him if and when I need help with my gate.

DO NOT USE GARAGE DOOR MEDICS!!! They are a rip off. They jack up the price for parts to the extreme. $10 cables are charged to the homeowner to the tune of $177. There is no excuse for this gouging. The owner responded to my Yelp review saying they have no control over the parts they order. This is BS, they should find another source or cut the margins and lower the price passed on the the end user. There are many other smaller garage door firms that will not gouge you.

I agreed to pay $49 service fee that would be applied to actual service for install of weather strip on 2 garage doors. The following day when I called to scheduled installation. I was informed they did not have proper parts and wanted to sell me 2 new doors. Since I could not get service I requested Approx $300 and do not want new doors, approx $4000. I should my $49 back

Great service, reasonable price

Yesterday was my first service with this company. Antonio replaced the weather sealant on both sides and the top of my garage door and now sunlight comes in all sides including the top. See the pictures, this is a terrible job. I called the office this morning and the lady promised to call me back for someone else to repair it. I’ve not heard back and they have the answering machine on now,. Do not use this company.

This was my first time dealing with Garage Door Medics, and let me tell you, from start to finish, nothing but great customer service. Started off by messaging several businesses for a quote on their preventative maintenance for garage doors/openers. Mick responded quickly and answered my question with the quote and what their service consisted of. I had several more questions to which he answered within a fair amount of time. This process was so easy my coworker even wanted to make an appointment with them.The appointment was made for the following week and was told to expect a call from their service tech 30 minutes before they were to arrive. Eric, did just that. He arrived on time. He introduced himself, from 6 feet away, of course and while wearing a mask. He started off by making sure the garage door would retract if it hit his foot. It didnt. He spent a good 20 minutes trying to figure out why it failed to do so. While other companies, Im sure, would have told me it was the motor or such, just to get me to purchase an expensive product/service, Eric did not. After trying a few different things he had another idea and adjusted the arm and, lo and behold, it worked!Now off to the actual reason why he was here, the preventative maintenance service. He made sure everything was working like it should, checked the balance of the door, oiled the hinges and wheels, among other things. At the end of it all, the only thing he recommended was the seal at the bottom of the door, which Ive been wanting to replace for years now. Out of all the service calls Ive had for this garage door (10 years worth), Eric has been the only tech to recommend the seal to be replaced. Because he was so great at what he did, answering all my questions, not trying to sell me services or parts I didnt need, without hesitation on the price, I ended up getting the seal replaced. Not only because I needed it and have been wanting it replaced but because of Erics great customer service. That alone, in my opinion, will go far in getting repeat customers and a word of mouth at how great a business is. If you ever need your garage door service, I highly recommend Eric from Garage Door Medics. Thank you for making me a happy customer!! Ill see you next year!

Just had Preston out for a free safety check and I couldnt be happier! He arrived on time and had great information to share about the condition of my garage door. He explained everything he was looking at and why, making it very easy to understand more about my garage door. He also answered some questions I had been having. It went very smoothly. The tech was very friendly and safe and made no attempt to push anything on us. He replaced the springs and the wheels in about an hour and everything is working perfectly now. Our spring happened to break on a day when they were having a spring special so the price was very good.

Our garage door went off the tracks, at least thats what we thought! We are an older couple and climbing a ladder and trying to figure out what was wrong. My garage door was installed in 2011. This was the first time in almost ten years that it needed service, due to the quality of the original installation. My assigned technician arrived on time, adjusted the optical sensors, reprogrammed the remote, lubricated all bearing surfaces and tested all operating modes. The door is restored to like new operation. Money well spent.

We recently moved into a new home. Unfortunately it was right at the beginning of the pandemic and stay at home orders. We have a 4 year old and 2 dogs. We noticed the garage door sensors were roughly 5 ft off the ground, a pin had popped out, and a few other things. As a mom, during these quarantine times, being able to play outside is the only thing keeping us safe. So the sensor issue was #1 on my list to fix and quickly. Eric showed up promptly, got the door down safely, laid out our options on repair vs replace, and got right to work.
