I love this place and have been coming here for years. Dylan is the owner and I cant say enough positive things about him. He is friendly, kind, and trustworthy. His staff is amazing as well. He has really helped me thru the years, and got me out of a couple of jams. And, they have beautiful jewelry and amazing coins at great prices! This is the ONLY place I go in the Valley with my jewelry, coins etc!

This establishment has no knowledge or education of coins.service if you can call it that, was rude arrogant & incompetent. He appraised one of my coins for 25$ me knowing its worth, went to j&B coins where I was pleased to be given true worth.alot more than 25$.. This place dont look at coin errors,, VERY VALUBLE.

They paid the spot price, extremely happy have sold more gold and silver here before too and always given spot for them. Best place ever, most cash for you precious metals you’ll receive. Every experience was the same... each jeweler explained what was wrong with my ring before making a low balled offer. I had almost given up! I was expecting the same kind of treatment when I had walked into California Jewelry & Coin, but to my surprise it was quite the opposite. Everyone was super friendly and inviting! Dylan took a look at my ring for maybe 5 min before making me an offer. HE OFFERED ME DOUBLE WHAT I HAD BEEN OFFERED ELSEWHERE!!!On a side note, I had been told that the diamond on my ring was 2/3 Karat, but Dylan showed me it was actually 3/4 and clearly printed on the inside of the ring. Sadly none of the other jewelers had ever looked at that. Please do yourself a favor and get on over to California Jewelry & Coin! You won’t be disappointed!

This is a terrific shop to browse and pick up wonderful jewelry, coins and new and used estate finds. Ive even seen Tiffany here on sale quite often! The staff is also kind and extremely helpful. They have a very experienced Jeweler (Ron) on site, too. Ive been going to him for all my repairs and custom work for over 20 years. (Here and at other locations hes worked in his career.) Hes redone my wedding rings and made repairs to watches and other various items. Hes designed beautiful earrings out of old inherited jewelry that wasnt my style, also. These folks are knowledgeable, pleasant and have great prices. Top notch professional service is what youll find here. If youre selling, dont even bother going anywhere else in town. Truly the last legitimate pawn broker in the business!

We had a last minute emergency needing cash and the owner gave us directions when our hour drive faced traffic and the GPS was not exactly giving us the best directions. When my mother passed away, I had this large coin collection, gold and silver jewelry. Waste of time. The owner is on vacation for 2 weeks. The person who is to be able to appraised the jewelry is only good for small stuff. Not happy about having to drive 100 some miles. So when you go make sure the owner is in the building.

I feel sick to my stomach. Last week I made the HUGE mistake of going to AAA Gold Exchange and sold some very valuable gold bullion coins there and an 18-kt gold bracelet that was quite heavy. I wanted to think about her offer overnight and the young girl told me the price would probably go down the next day when the stock exchange opened (or even in an hour). I didnt get even close to what the 8 gold bullion coins were worth or the bracelet and I walked out feeling so sick from doing the transaction. What they were offering me for my diamonds was such a joke, I wouldnt even consider it. They wouldnt pay me cash, either. They made a check, which I didnt want.Fast track to today, where I typed in pawn shop versus cash for gold last week, and I found the most honest, reputable owner of any pawn broker and gold buyer in the industry. He offered me a LOT more for my 2.5 carat, 18k white gold diamond ring and told me that if gold is $1,350 an ounce and you have an ounce, then I PAY YOU $1,350. NO ONE from all the places I contacted pays the actual amount.He even talked me out of taking what he offered for my diamond ring and said I could make twice that (or more) on a private party ad. I said I didnt want anyone coming to my home and he said, once you are a customer here (when you walk in my door) you can meet them here so you are safe. Wow! Really?! Wow!I wont ever go anywhere when I want to sell any gold or jewelry. He is truly an exemplary model of an honest business person in a cut throat industry. He also paid me in cash! Thank you, Dillon. Without a doubt the best place around to pawn any and all jewelry or coins! Allow me to explain:I had a diamond ring with a 14 carat gold band that I was looking to pawn and first tried going to All Valley Coin and Pawn who let me know the diamond had a minor flaw. They offered me around $400.00 but I was looking for more than that. I then went to Diamonds by Monet in Temecula where they offered me $525.00 for the ring. I still wanted a bit more than that because I knew the ring had value to it. I waited a few days, finally gave in and went back to Diamonds by Monet to sell the ring. When I get there and they do the evaluation, the same exact guy who originally looked at the ring tells me that I can only get $238.00 for the ring and that there is a major flaw. After exchanging a few harsh words, I leave the place angry and frustrated that I cannot get the dollar amount I am looking for this ring. By pure chance, I hop online and see good reviews for California Jewelry & Coin in Murrieta. I figure Ill try one last time and drive over to the place. Simply put the staff was amazing! I was given a walkthrough of how they test the quality of the gold, diamond and what the value total would be. The diamond expert offered me $875 on the spot for the ring. With absolute happiness, I accepted the deal and left California Jewelry & Coin in a great mood knowing I got the best price possible for my ring. I have returned to the location to get rid of some old coins and a few other things and have been given amazing pricing and service each and every time. They have truly earned my business for life!

Outstanding customer service!

Ive been to quite a few pawn shops and gold dealers gold buyer shops. I think this is probably the third most Ive ever written about anything online but I must say this place holds the standard for excellence. Most places that I have been to are you there trying to give you a very unreasonable low estimate in the best situation or a completely an accurate estimate to which these other pawn shops profit off of in huge numbers which exceed any of their in store sales. With the economy bad its probably why there are so many of these horrible so-called pawnbroker gold dealers however just as I was about to give up as I work hard for my gold tried California Jewelry & Coin. I called ahead and expected the same answer for the questions which I propose do you buy gold and does it have to be in the form of jewelry can it be in gold nugget for example the website stated. After capturing this at least 50 times this year from other places I reluctantly went down there to check it out and give them a shot.when I walked in the store I looked around I noticed the price of most of their jewelry was actually far more decent then most of the places that I have been but two more of the surprise there selection of jewelry was pretty extensive. ( even though Im not particularly into jewelry) I waited about a minute at most before Dylan come over and asked if you could help me of course I have my box of gold and said certainly. Ideas for a breath of air as I usually do before I open the box and expect him to say oh Im sorry we dont take that but instead he said lets have a look pulled out some acid and proceeded to test my gold. It wouldnt be the first time somebody has tested my gold and then told me that they would not be able to buy any but if I left it was done they could send it somewhere and I could come back 2 weeks later and they could tell me what I would get no instead he said Ill buy this. I was shocked the only person Ive ever had buy my gold was the assay-er - smelter who has a minimum 500 Graham Troy thats more than a pound of gold and not everybody has over a pound of gold to get rid of or wants to get rid of that much and I have come into extreme frustration until the day I stepped into the California Jewelry & Coin in Murrieta I am a real customer this is a real experience Dylan was extremely professional very honest he told me the price that you would pay for my silver as he Wade it out I calculated approximately the price that I would get before I left and he actually came over the expected price that I would normally get in fact he paid the highest price Ive ever been 4 silver also purchase some of my gold and was very pleasant experience to say the least he doesnt know it yet but Im going to be coming back there soon with another batch and Im looking forward to receiving the same experience once again Dylan sets the standard for excellence in customer service
