Have been here for routine maintenance and also for tires and an alignment. The staff are friendly and helpful. They are not out to try and scare you with their inspections and they give a fair assessment of your automobile. A good shop to go to!

Yet again another example of the professionalism, expertise and customer service that i have become a custom to here at Big O Tires. Staff is ALWAYS straight forward with time constraints and never makes promises that cant be kept. I can replace all resources save one - TIME! AND with Big O I am never asked to.

This is my third time taking my car to Steve and he always stays on top of rotating my tires, alignment and I love the honesty he provides. I took it a few weeks ago to rotate my wheels and he stated the front two tires are getting worn out and recommended new ones he didn’t push for me to purchase all four which I’ve experienced that at other tire shops. I absolutely love the overall service Tiffany & Steve truly care about their customers I recommend them!! 10/10 ✨

Never met Steve, but he has taken care of my truck and family while I was away on deployment for a few years now. We were visiting Murietta over the weekend and were on our way home to Northern California on Sunday morning when we discovered a good-sized sheet metal screw in our left front tire. We were trying to leave early enough to avoid the LA traffic and this tire issue was a screwing us big-time. Weve been loyal Big O customers for 20 years so when a Google search showed we were only 3 minutes from a Big O shop that was open, on Sunday no less, we were hugely relieved. Once I explained our situation to Steven, the owner, who knew our drive home was already hard enough without hitting LA traffic, he moved us to the front of the cue and we were on our way in 45 minutes! Folks, customer service does not get any better than this. The service technician who patched our tire went out of his way to let us know he and Big O were going to get us on our way asap. And with Big O, you know the quality of the work is first rate. These guys get 5 stars and our sincere thanks and appreciation for taking such great care of us.

I was the 3rd customer in line at 730am. Had a simple motor mount bolt to put back in place. Took all day to get a call at 430pm to tell me they didnt have the special equipment to fix it. Dont think they put it on a lift.Took it to Ramona tire and boom done in one hour. Big O wasted my time.

Steve and Tiffany at Big O are both so helpful and determined to help their customers, regardless the size of the issue. I brought them my car that had previously been to 3 other car repair places (including the dealership) where no one could find the issue. Steve and his team worked on my car and were the only ones to put in the time needed to find the problem. Along with all of their hard work, they are very reasonably priced. Not only will I continue to return with my car needs, but I would recommend this Big O to anyone who needs repairs or services.

VERY poor customer service! We walked in to the store today because we got a nail in our tire while traveling. As we approached the counter, a younger gentleman on the left was on the phone and another was on the right. Neither acknowledged us standing there. The older gentleman on the right never even looked up. The one on the phone looked over and said “be with you in a moment”. The one on the right walks away and with his back to us ask “what can I do for you”. My husband explains about the tire. He says “you’re dropping it off” and long story short tells us that this 10 minute tire repair was going to take at least till closing. I explained we’re from out of town and he shrugs. He had an extremely rude attitude. I mean at least offer an apology, call another location, etc. I wanted to stop at “Big O” because of their reputation but THIS location is awful!

Great service. Tires were fairly priced. Tired change was done quickly and done well, with a phone call while they were doing them to see if I wanted to keep the painted lead weights that matched the rims on my old car. I will definitely use them again.

Go to Americas Tire or Les Schwab. Made the mistake of buying a full set of tires here, come to find out when you catch a nail warranty here will cost you an extra $47.60 per tire if you have a road hazard.Also, they mixed up my tire sensors,So the low air was showing a right front tire but it was actually a rear tire.. So the low tire went completely flat and was damaged.Heres where the one star review starts,I called and made an appointment and she said they had a new tire in stock and could do it right away and rephase the sensors to correct spots.. After they had my truck for two+ hours she called and said she sold my tire to someone else and I would need to come get my truck (spare tire still on) and come back the next day for my tire. When I arrived they hit me with a $50 bill.I talked to Steve the owner, about my unfortunate experience at his business, and he was less than unsympathetic. Instead of doing the right thing and honoring the warranty and fixing the sensors that his guys mixed up, he justified himself, then asked if he could work on my truck again. I rolled my tire out and bolted it on myself. Will never deal with a Big O ever again.

Always a pleasant friendly experience. The owners of this particular franchise are the best and make you feel confident and like they genuinely care about you. Not super pushy about upselling and they only recommend what you NEED but will let you know if something will need repairs or replacing soon. They may not be the cheapest in town, but theyre super trustworthy and reliable and treat every customer like they appreciate your business and your choice to choose them to work on your vehicle. I Dont trust any other mechanics in town with my truck.

I called countless shops, I was put on hold, hung up on, and for the most part disregarded. The tires Im searching for are specialty tires. Very rare.I spoke with Tiffany. She was unbelievably helpful and kind. She said she would search for them and give me a call back the next day. So I continued on my hunt.Today, which would be the following day, she called back twice. Explained she couldnt get ahold of them but the steps I could take to get them and that I could even have them drop shipped to her if I needed them installed.Think about this for a moment. Tiffany realized that this took her time and money to search for these tires, even though there was no gaurentee of return on investment. Yet she still followed through. Things like this are priceless in business. This is coming from someone who owns multiple businesses and knows the value of this type of behavior.I recommend you take your vehicles here. You wont get this type of costumer service anywhere, and I live in the O.C.-Ken

Steve gave me a fair quote to replace a wheel bearing and seal. As well as rear brakes. After disassembly of the rear axle the bearing didnt need replacing. Many shops would have replaced it anyway for the service charge. Steve was honest and saved me $300. He has my business forever.Thanks to him and the great mechanics at big O.

Got the job done in a timely manner but I do not feel comfortable with the repair. My tire had a screw on the outside edge of my tire and the store owner decided to patch the tire instead of replacing the tire knowing that any projectile in the outer edge of a tire is not safe to repair.

Their 22 point inspection was not done, went back later to check cabin filter they claimed was in good condition and it was disgusting, had to replace it myself, I feel this is very dishonest service, what else did they not check?

I was just on hold with this company, calling because I need to purchase 4 new tires, today. The phone rang, a man answered and asked if I would hold, I said, “sure.” I waited for 22 mins on hold. The phone rang back, the man answered again and asked again if I would hold, I kindly started to mention that I had been holding for 20 mins, is there a way that I could speak to someone else, but before I could finish my sentence he placed me on hold again with this annoying music and advertisement loop. I was completely dismissed. I will not rely on this company for tires when they can’t even handle customer service calls.

Had My brake fluid exchange done here and they couldn’t have been nicer and more informative. I was also having issues with noisy tires (bought elsewhere) and The owners were kind enough to explain why they were noisy and which tire I should switch to when I am ready for new tires. No hard sale! I was so happy I had my daughter bring her car over for Oil change and Tire rotation. Will definitely go to Big O tires Murrieta when I am ready for my next tires!

Absolutely amazing service as always! Woke up in the morning and found a screw in the tire and the tire almost down to the rim. After getting some air in the tire to limp over to Big O, Steve took the car in right away to be patched. There were several cars there being serviced and I was still able to be seen and have the tire patched in under an hour. The staff is always friendly, respectful, knowledgeable and does a top notch job. They are fair and always go out of their way to ensure the job is done right. Bravo Zulu to Steve and the staff.

I started off at another tire shop but was disappointed with the customer service and made a phone call to Big O tires. Danny answered the phone immediately and was polite. I brought my car in for the service and was very pleased.

Got a new set of tires for my ride and all went well but sorta pi$$ed me off when I noticed later they took off my chrome valve stem caps and put on some big o tires valve caps. Thats theft in my eyes. Wanted to put that out there. If I didnt have any valve step caps then I can see but what I already had was no longer there. Wack

Excellent service! Ive had a handful of pre-purchase inspections done at this place over the years. They were always thorough. Most recently had my tires installed and car keys were back in my hand four hours later. Very reasonable price for good quality tires, also the guy (think it was Steve) quoting me asked me what range Im interested in, which I appreciate.Other shops in the area were asking for more out the door, for a set of less desirable tires, and offered less (or no) choice.

The owner Steve is the most honest and caring business owner around. I came all the way from Arizona to replace my tires. He doesn’t take advantage of the fact I’m a girl. I love coming here to get my car repairs. Also come here for my oil change and whatever else is wrong with my cars. They have worked on 4 of my cars so far: 2015 Mazda3, 2014 Dodge Avenger, 2017 Dodge Journey and a 2007 Toyota Camry. All got amazing work done: I won’t go anywhere else for my car problems! Ask for Steve! He’s amazing!

Went in today to get a front end alignment and tire rotation. Though the wait was lengthy, Im glad I chose this location. As I was paying, the service writer, Danny, showed me the alignment print out sheet. There were very minor corrections on the alignment. Danny said he wouldnt feel right charging me $90 for an alignment when it was the tires causing most of the problem, which a $20 tire rotation solved. I could have easily been charged and ripped off. I will be back. Integrity in the corporate owned automotive repair industry is hard to find, but I found it here.

Horrible Customer Service! Got there a little early since the answering machine had the incorrect open time. Said good morning to the employee and just got a dirty look. No one greeted us or told us they would be right with us. More of a “what do you want” look. You should all be happy to have a job with tens of millions unemployed! Went to America’s and get great service right away.

I used to go to this business when it was family run by Nigel. Then a corporation bought it out and service was terrible. Now that Steve and Tiffany purchased this business, it is family run again. They have made it their own with a refurbished waiting area and a very customer-oriented business. I loved my recent experience there so much (oil & filter change, rotate and balance tires, wheel alignment) that my whole family plans to return with their cars to this business for tires and for general maintenance. Steve (owner) answers the phone himself, with a very positive attitude, and books the appointments so there is minimal waiting time. His wife, Tiffany, came out to greet me. The mechanics all seem happy to be there and exceed all expectations. I never felt ripped off (as a woman who doesnt know cars) and felt Steve gave me the truth and was not trying to upsell me on more services and/or or more products. I am grateful for this business as it is close to my home and I like to support local business people. Prices are very fair. Keep up the great work!

I walked into Big O Tires in Murrieta at 11:30 am to replace both front tires. I was told it would take 90 minutes. Two 4×4 truck customers came in after me, both buying a full set of expensive tires. Both were serviced before my vehicle as I sat in the waiting room. After the second truck left I walked out to their service bay to take a look at my car. They hadnt put the new tires on it yet. I walked back inside and told the guy at the counter that Id been there for 3 hours, and watched the trucks get serviced immediately. He apologized, but wouldnt look me in the eye. Moral of the story? If you want fair and expedient service on your vehicle I recommend you go elsewhere.

Whether it was buying a new tire for our fifth wheel trailer or having my Super Duty Ford serviced, I have had a wonderful experience with the Cal Oaks shop. I have bought tires at the store for other cars and I will be replacing the fifth wheels remaining old tires shortly. Knowledgeable, fair, quick and convenient are adjectives I can agree with.

I had bad luck in the past dealing with people that took advantage of my family when we were in need of tires and breaks, so I was under the impression that all people in this business were sharks. Steve has built a team of professionals that actually cares for you and your needs and makes you feel safe in an environment full of different options that not a lot of people understand, vehicle maintenance. Although working with Tiffany was great and she helped me out with what i initially went in for. When you go in expecting to only pay $200 for a service and then leave paying over $450 for a repair that wasnt even necessary or had to be done at that moment is honestly really irritating.More than likely wont be returning.

He was discussing private information over the phone about his shop being robbed..... take in your office not where customers can hear! Price match from American Tire Depot centric brakes and rotor. The rear brakes American Tire Depot installed, Steve said they were not Centric.....That was a lie. I told him I wanted centric.1. When I asked him if he ordered in Centric, he told me not worry about it.2. He installed Napa without asking me.3. He said Napa was better, not true when confronted!4. Called to tell him I was not satisfied, I provided the Centric part number 120.67068 to order in to provide what was promised.5. Had an appointment 0800 next day to install, told me it would be 2.5 hours insult upon injury.....rescheduled next day for 0730 install....took 35 minutes.5. Getting home he ordered cheaper quality centric brakes (cheaper quality) 121.67068 when looking at the invoice. Didnt think I would have to validate on the box....I was wrong!6. Called him and he said those are the same brakes he put on my wifes car..... what does that have to do with down grading my brake at his decision? Not the part number I gave him!Did not offer to correct just said Im sorry you feel that way. Total ARROGANCE! These guys are a joke. Like other big company Major tire shops. They dont sell used tires in truck sizes and not very helpful when I called. I had to go to work. Was told to wait a week just to order new tires only. Not my cup a tea.

Would recommend them compared to other auto shops because they wont charge you for anything that you dont need. Great service and they are a friendly bunch.

This is the best service station Ive ever used, hands down. I dont go anywhere else. Steve and his crew are knowledgeable, courteous, and extremely honest. I never worry that they will recommend work that I dont need, and I am always confident that their prices are the lowest around. The repairs and maintenance on my truck have always been top-notch, regardless of the work that was required. I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado and they keep it running great . Steve has a first-rate shop. I cant say enough positive things about him and his guys. I have usually dealt with his manager, Chris, who has been especially helpful and gone out of his way to provide superlative service. All in all, I would recommend this shop to anyone who needs any sort of work or maintenance on their vehicle.

This is an alright place for tires. Definitely not the cheapest place in town for getting a set of four tires, but man do they have deals and some of the best customer service in town. A little bit too much up-sale on products/parts for my car that you really dont need. Dont be tricked into the up-sale, just go here for tires and the service you deserve, and youll be treated like a King.

After hopping for one car maintenance place to another for so long, its great to have a place that I can frequent that ARENT trying to scam me (a woman). I went in today because my car was making a rattling noise under the hood. Steve fit me in, had the issue fixed, then personally drove me around to test that the noise was gone, alerted me of another issue (that Im definitely going to them to fix), and sent me on my merry way! Also their Covid-19 game is on point. When we went on the test drive my front seats and steering wheel were covered in plastic in addition to the typical foot well covers. I used to go to Americas Tires. I have a personal car and 2 large work trucks. Big O has been fantastic with all of my vehicles.

I had my front breaks and two tires replaced at Big O Tires on Cal oaks. I thought had a great deal and a great experience, Until my breaks popped out of place going 70mph on Highway, Which nearly killed us. After 3 hours of waiting on the side of the highway for a tow truck to be sent by the shop. When I met with the owner he promised me that he would make things right. So I still gave them a 5 star thinking bad things happen to everyone. My car was at shop for almost a week, which cost me a lot of money since i work it. Even though They said they have replaced the broken wheel and the break parts, I have had to take my back twice, because my car ride like all tires are out of balance. Again loosing time and money. My car still rides like all the tires are off balance and they wont even return my call. so be aware. If any one has a suggestion of my options now I would appreciate a feed back.

From the time I called Big O on the phone and spoke with Steve and I told him about how bad my truck was shaking he said to bring it on in and he would take a quick look at it just to give me an idea. Was there within an hour of my phone call with Steve he took one look at my tires and told me my front tires were going bad and that was causing the shaking. He couldnt have it worked on until the next day so he asked me to leave it and he got me a ride home. We spoke the next day and my truck with new tires was ready to go. Steve provided excellent, excellent customer service and I thank him for taking care of me. Jodi.

Ive gotten work done at this location before and never had a problem, so I wont try to persuade you not going there. I will however tell you they have no consideration for your time and the customer service is sub-par.When I checked in the young man told me it would be an hour to get my oil changed. I waited the hour sitting in a lobby that smelled toxic from all the tires, listening to an old Kansas City Chiefs game on ESPN at an unnecessarily loud volume. Not the best waiting room conditions, though I realize the smell is out of their control.After an hour I checked in again only to hear I was next in line. You mean, itll be coming out soon? I asked. No, they hadnt even started on the vehicle!I know Big O Tires is not in the business of wasting a persons time, but for goodness sake be upfront with them and honest about how long it will take. YOU NEED TO MONITOR PROGRESS, and if its looking like it will take longer, LET THE CUSTOMER KNOW. Customers dont enjoy waiting for an oil change. An oil change is akin to a visit to the dentist. Engine troubles and root canals are equivalent.We appreciate the coffee in the lobby, but we need REAL customer service which you clearly need help delivering. Look at your clientele. I sat in the lobby beside a young lady who was clearly annoyed by the volume of a football game she wasnt even enjoying. Maybe you should have asked her if she would like you to change the channel. Or, was the game on for you?I am extremely disappointed with my experience today. I left without getting my oil changed. A complete waste of time.

Chris is the manager. Ive been taking both my Chevrolet Impala and Dodge Durango here for oil changes, tire rotation, tire alignments, wheel hubs, and nitrogen for my tires. I like how when the technicians spot a problem they give you a very truthful recommendation. Must replace now, it can wait a few more weeks or months. They show you the actual problem not just take my word for it like the dealership!! Im very happy with my service here, and would definitely recommend this location!!

This place has had its ups and down. Ownership change might have contributed to inconsistency. Overall great place for tires and service. I have had many vehicles serviced here. Big O Tire brand is a good less expensive alternative to name brand tires. Service and repairs for the most part has been quick and honest. They always check over the vehicle and base recommendations on optimum replacement timing. So if you have a part that looks like half life left they will tell you that but recommend replacement. Just take that under consideration when they give you that list.

The staff is always so helpful. Chris is amazing! They are never impatient and gives you detailed information before moving forward. My family drives a good distance & will continue to do so.

By far the best car place I’ve ever been to! Steve the owner treats his customers like family! Kent and all of the guys are wonderful! I hate dealing with car issues but these guys make it easy and make sure you are happy and safe! Any other car place I’ve always felt taken advantage of and over charged, but not here! Will def be a long time customer of big o in murrieta and will send others their way! Thanks Steve for taking such good care of me! You guys have made me a loyal customer! I must add that This Big O is under new ownership as of a month ago and the old negative reviews are before Steve bought it! Trust me you won’t be disappointed if you come here!
