All around great experience there. Took my sons bike in to get the breaks adjusted and they took care of me right away. I cant remember the techs name that helped me, but he was extremely professional throughout the whole process. I will definitely be going back here soon.

Jax is great. We are blessed to have a few really nice bike shops here in this area. Jax is the only bike shop that has cycling shoes that fit my huge feet. The have really nice cycling shorts, lights for riding at night, and in general stock a lot of stuff. The last time I went in there I thought I was going to need to place an order for some parts, and they had everything in stock.

The best place I could have gone to for buying a nice bike and getting advice for riding. I bought a TREK Roscoe 6 from them and it was the best bike I ever bought in my life. They even gave me some free stuff as a nice gesture. All the staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. Even felt like family at times. If you need a bike, then go here. They have every kind of bike for any application you need.

So disappointed. Son took bike in for two tubes, as they would not hold air overnight. We paid for lifetime flat repair, so it shouldn’t be a problem. Once there, the tech upsold for nearly $300 worth of service. As he’ll be taking this to college, we reluctantly paid for that - but it came back like brand new, great job. Son brings bike home in his pickup, and tires go flat overnight (what we originally went in for!). Drag the bike across town and they say they’ll take care of it. Goes to take it for a ride today (with zero miles since), and one tire is flat! Looking at it, it’s obvious that only one tube was actually replaced. This will be three trips across town for what was the primary reason it went in, two flat tires!! Very disappointed to say the least. What a waste of time and fuel.REVISED FROM 1-3 STARS. Jonathan reached out and we discussed the situation. Happy that they wanted to hear my concerns. Still doesn’t change what happened, but it means something to me when a shop is willing to hear a customers concerns and act.REVISED Dave, thank you for your response and I will do so. I do want to be sure you know though, the bike came in initially with two tires that didn’t hold air. With no riding after we got it back from repairs, one went flat in a day. That was either because the new tube was faulty or damaged on install, or the problem was never addressed. Again, thanks for your follow up.

I really cant say enough good things about the team at Jax. Ordered a new project one build back in February and Jordan was amazing in helping me choose individual options to best meet both my needs and product availability to get me the bike I wanted as quickly as possible given the extenuating circumstances facing shops these days with supply shortages and manufacturing delays. Once the order was in, the whole team was super helpful in keeping me up to speed on what was going on and when delivery/assembly/availability for pickup would be. Once they got my bike in, they did a meticulous job building everything up exactly to my requested specs and were awesome in walking me through some configuration and access issues specific to the Di2 setup on my bike after I ran into some issues and came back in with some questions. Id say I was surprised by how helpful and friendly everyone is at Jax Murrieta but its not my first time in the store and theyve been consistently great every time Ive come in. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable shop with knowledgeable and friendly staff.

I was told that Jaxs was the place. I reluctantly drove the hour to Murrieta. The best bike shop in town! Casey and Jordan helped me get into a Checkpoint SL5 and I couldn’t be happier. They gave me advice on setup and pointed me in the right direction for accessories. This is my third bike from Jax and I’m happy to say that I’m a loyal customer.

Been trying to get a few Trek bikes for months and this was the only store that had them in stock. After buying 2 of them, I was hoping to at least get a couple free water bottle cages or kickstands...nope they charged me for them. Then I had to replaced a rim for another bike and they charged me $50 bucks in labor just transfer over the rear sprockets.Great customer service and super friendly but they are in it for the $$.

After the last several year purchasing bikes at a bike shop in Mammoth, the shop was out of inventory due to Covid related issues (as are many bike shops) I decided to try Jax. Upon entering the store I was immediately greeted by Casey. Casey spent a great deal of time discussing my riding, needs and answering my many questions. Casey suggested two alternatives that were within my price range of less than $1,000. We took the two bikes out for a test ride with more discussion. Upon returning and selecting one, Casey offered me several accessories without a hard sell. I selected some and declined others. They immediately added the accessories while I waited and off I went, in less than an hour. Upon arriving home I was pleasantly surprised they had already registered by bike with Trek. As a business owner myself, I was very impressed with the entire operation of Jax. Jax in now my go-to bike store.JeffN.

Jax Bicycle responded to my online purchase quickly and let me know when they would have the bike available. I had been searching for the 2021 Trek Slash 8 and was pleasantly surprised when the had one available when another Trek affiliated store told me they wouldnt see any until December. See as its the beginning of March that was a bummer, but thankfully Jax Bicycle came through unknowingly. The pickup of the bike was easy. They setup my suspension and tires with good baseline pressures, so that I could get out and ride it immediately after leaving the store. The staff was kind and informative. The bicycle care program they have is a must if youre an active rider. Will definitely help you save money with maintenance cost for the first few years. Give Jax a chance if youre looking for a new bike to ride!

First, I must say that their employees are knowledgeable and always friendly. That being said, it’s unfortunate that they make people stand outside so that they can usher around a customer one at a time because if COVID-19. Other bike shops in the area have allowed walk-ins for months. I actually live across the street and have started driving to Alan’s bike shop because I can get in and out in a flash. When you have the restaurant next door (Top Grill) allowing people to eat in their business but have a bike shop still forcing people to stand outside...seems a little off.

Their inventory is great compared to all other bike shops. The customer service I received from Jordan was outstanding and very helpful when choosing the bike to purchase.

Just bought a bike Rack for my car and Ty helped me attach it to my trunk. He installed it perfectly and I was able to carry my beach cruiser an hour away and back. He was extremely helpful and kind since this was the first time I had ever purchased a bike rack. Excellent customer service and positive atmosphere.

The size of my inner tubes are hard to find, I found them at Jax Bicycle Center and ordered them on line, the kept me very well informed through out the whole process and called me as soon as my items were ready for pick up.Im very please with their customer service etiquette.

Very helpful. Dropped a bike off for repairs. I will rate once I get it back, but the service people were nice and went over stuff with me before proceeding.

I didnt purchase anything but I visited. I wanted to look at the mountain bike, and a clerk ask me for help. He led me to the mountain bikes. Before I went to the store I had done some research on an appropriate MTB for my skill level, which is beginner. I was curious and wanted to sit on some hardtails, but the clerk insisted I should look at full suspension, because, only professionals would know how to handle hardtails. All this alarmed me and red flags started popping up, as this was the opposite of everything I read, watched, and discussed. The first bike that was shown was a 8000 dollar full suspension carbon fiber Trek MTB; for a beginner! Though the bikes were awesome that he showed me, I became unimpressed with what he was showing me, as it wasnt even the bikes I even inquired about, but the price range and the spec of the bikes only stayed close to that 8000 dollar range and the clerk was super enthusiastic, I assume hoping I would get to his level of enthusiasm. I only had words like nice and cool to say. As I started pointing out hardtails he began to get more quiet and the interaction closed. Thank you for taking the time to show me items, but the sales tactic was a little off putting. I would recommend actually ask what I normally do or what I would like to do on a MTB. Show me the type of bike I wanted to see and let me come a conclusion based my experience sitting on both. I do understand the ladder of going down from expensive to cheap to show me how nice it could be. I am not putting this out there not to bash but hopefully help out the team there. Please, do your research before you head in the bike shop, its just like buying a car. Two stars for effort.

Ordered my bike online and picked it up in less than a week. The staff are very helpful and really care for their customers.

I purchased an Electra Townie from Jax. I spoke with Sherry, the sales manager. I told her that I was going to buy a conversion kit to make it an electric bike. She thought it was very cool and even told me to bring it by so she could “check it out”. I just called them up to see if they can adjust the gear shifter on it and the manager Jordan told me they won’t touch it now and it’s out of warranty. Sherry is now denying what she said to me (go figure)!! This is HORRIBLE customer service! Had I known this was the case I would have never bought the bike and converted it in the first place!I will be disputing my credit card immediately!

Called about 35 minutes before they closed on Christmas Eve (I hate being that person, but I was a little desperate) after putting my brother’s new bike together and realizing I couldn’t get the brakes to work. They allowed me in, fixed the bike really quickly, and wished me a merry Christmas. Seriously, couldn’t be more pleased with the service. I love the one to one service. Our sales rep was great with our kids and letting them test the bikes and feel the ride for themselves. We bought two Trek bikes and love our bikes. The reason for just three stars is because as of this date, they still have very limited hours and only allow just one customer in the shop at a time (at least thats what their sign on the door indicated).Come on guys! Biden got elected so its now safe to open back up to regular hours. Time to expand you hours of operations for customers like me who have a tight window to visit and give you my money. :-)Other than the hours and limits to the number of customers in the store, the folks here do know their bikes and have a decent selection. Thanks again for getting us our hybrid Trek bikes. Now if only I can carve out some time to visit you during your limited hours so I can buy some additional accessaries for our bikes. LOL

Phenomenal customer service! Every member of the Jax team that I interacted with were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. There was not a question that I had that they were unable to answer during discussions on new mountain bikes and upgrading an older bike. The team did a fantastic job of taking the time with me to learn my riding style and what my goals are to present recommendations on my purchase. This is a team to trust! Great customer service! Went in to look for a MTB bike for myself. I am 49 and was just looking for a beginner level MTB to ride with my son after getting him one for Christmas. Salesmen was very helpful and kept me in my price range. Left the store with a 2021 Trek Marlin 5 and couldnt be any happier.

I thought the staff was extremely helpful, friendly and well educated as I was shopping for a new bicycle for my daughter for Christmas. They were very well organized and went above and beyond to make sure I was fully satisfied with my shopping experience. Due to the fact I was shopping a couple weeks prior to Christmas, the manager offered to allow me to place a deposit for my order and “lay-away” my purchase. It was a very pleasant shopping experience and I can’t say enough good things. The selection of bicycles, gear and accessories was a great added bonus as well. I love how friendly the staff is at Jax Bicycle Center. They are attentive as soon as you walk in the door. The first time I went, Sherry was so helpful in showing me bikes, helmets and bike racks. Jonathan has been very helpful in service and has gone above and beyond in assuring I am happy and my bike is working perfectly. Went in the other day needing a bearing switched out of my old shock to my new one. I know how swamped shops are now and didnt expect for it to be done while I waited! I was amazed, great job guys! Ill definitely be back.

Called to ask for some more details on a bike I was looking at purchasing and what lead times were on a few others with most bikes being sold out in these times. Was met with a rude female employee with an attitude problem saying things like “well did you check the website, what does the website say” The website doesn’t specify lead times and answer questions that I have that is why I am calling. If you don’t like your job lady find something else, but while you’re there do the job you’re being paid to do. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere, really expected more from the highest rated bike shop in the area.

Clean shop and great staff! Got an Intense Tracer and Primer 29er both pro builds... The bikes are amazing and we were helped by Jordan. Jordan knows his stuff and was very professional. Set the bikes up exactly as I requested. There are other bikes shops in the area. But youll be missing out if you pass on Jax! Ill be a repeat customer!

People who work here are absolutely the kindest! They are super helpful for anything you need and really make you feel like youre part of the shop. They also do Saturday and Sunday rides that are about 30-40 on Saturdays and an easy recovery on Sundays. I have a bike repair center and the guys are super knowledgeable about road bikes and mountain bikes. Would definitely recommend them as a bike shop!

Awesome experience! I had my daughter with me to get sized for a mountain bike, and I ended up buying it. Staff at Jax Bike Center caught on to what was going on and kept it a secret. Jax bike shop was honest. Willing to order in a bike in an XL when I purchased a L and took home and rode at vail. The bike seemed a bit small. All bike sizing seems to be different. Great customer service.

The friendliness and product knowledge makes a person like me feel very comfortable with my unlimited questions. From Vince, to Jonathan, and Chef, and Vince and Cherie...the whole crew is awesome. It’s a place for a new rider wanting to learn can go and be taken care of. I had never owned a road bike until January 2018 and in the same year competed in Arizona Ironman 140.6 I’ve since upgraded my bike, and equipment with the guidance of the Jax crew. I’ll be competing in my next Ironman in May 2020 and I’m expecting to improve my bike time significantly.
