Great Service, Great Support. Vincent was super helpful and got the dishwasher door switch part in overnight... He offered some tips on the replacement and then helped me work around what the real problem was in addition to the door switch. The fried connectors! Ill be back!!

This place has good prices. And the people there are very helpful. They walked me through out the process. My air conditioning blower motor burn out . They gave me an exact replacement. I got it fixes in about an hour . I will save and recommend this place to all my friends.

DIY and Vincent are a godsend. They have saved me so much money. Vincent was very helpful getting me an HVAC condenser fan motor and explaining the installation to me. He even had a simplified wiring diagram printed up before I even got to the store! Not even Grainger had the motor in stock. Highly recommend, will certainly come back when needed!

We did it! We have used AA for many years but this was our first time using the DIY service! Vincent walked us through the process of figuring out what the problem was and how to fix it! Had the best experience with this business!!! I called first thing Tuesday morning and spoke to Dave about a whirlpool thin twin lid switch. He advised they didn’t have it in stock and could order it if I wanted. I hesitated about ordering it. Our call ended and within 3 minutes I received a call back from Dave saying they did have the part in stock and it was just a little hard to find because of them moving shops. My heater broke and I had no idea how to fix it. I looked around on Youtube and it said that the limit switch had gone bad. I pull the part out, took it to DIY Appliance to get the new part. The gentleman at the counter tested the part and he said it was working fine. I by error had pulled the wrong switch. I was amazed by his honesty. I came back with the correct part, he tested it on the spot and sold me a new one. It has been a long time since I have been impressed with good old honest customer service, but this place exceeded my expectations. I definitely recommend you purchasing your next part for a furnace or any appliance that goes bad.

My AC fan motor for both my upstairs and downstairs stopped working Sunday afternoon.Kickstarting them did cause them to spin so I had a good idea it was the capacitor. I called DIY 8 am sharp and they answered. I’m happy their operating hours online match with their actually hours are. 20 minutes later I picked up two capacitor. The guy who helped gave me so tips on how to install. It was my first time changing out a capacitors so it’s nice you have these guys willing to help you. He did tell me if I wanted to bring the capacitors he could test them for me.I figured I’ll try to swap them first. I swapped them and now both units are working!Their prices are more than what you find online but if you something now, you can’t complain about price. I’ll be using them in the future for any appliance repairs.Thank you!

This place is awesome, needed some rollers for my LG dryer. They stock OEM parts, they had them the day I needed them with great instruction on installing them myself. Great service! I walked in with broken parts in my hands and the counter guy was able to idenify what type of dryer I have at first glance. He sold me the parts I needed and with a little help from youtube I had my old dryer running again. I was happy that I could do the repair myself for a reasonable amount.

I found DIY on line and in the adjacent city. I called first to see if they had my ac capacitor part. Vincent answered every question and gave me enough confidence that I drove the 20 miles to purchase it. He even used a capacitor tester on my used part. His readings were the same as the hvac company I have check my unit every 6 months. They wanted $325. to change it out, a 15 min. job. Go to DIY website, impressive! They are doing it right. My Samsung dryer was making a scraping noise so came here to purchase new rollers. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. They informed me that my problem was probably just a pulley and not the rollers and they were right! Dryer works like new again. 4 rollers would’ve cost me 60+. Pulley was only $32. Thanks guys!

AC capacitor went out on a 104 degree day. Customer service was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to get me the part I needed. Great place! First time using them on recommendation from a neighbor. Owner Vince was awesome. I actually called them at first to get the name of a recommended repairman for my LG front load washing machine which had stopped pumping and I didnt know if I wanted to try to crack into it and end up having to call a guy anyway (I had already checked the filter assembly, hoses, etc. so I was pretty sure it was the pump).After talking with him, the repair sounded quite easy. He gave me some insight into removal of the existing pump, and it ended up being straightforward. On this particular model, you can tilt it back and access everything from underneath without issue.I brought the pump assembly in, and Vince showed me a new one and allowed me to personally compare the difference when you spin the impeller. Sure enough, mine was toast. I re-installed and was back up and running. The whole project start to finish took me a couple hours vs. scheduling an appointment and spending so much more time (and not having a washer while waiting a day or more for the appointment!)I highly recommend this place!!Note: Photos are only of old one, didnt take any of new.

This is my place now! My drier sounded like shoes were tumbling around. I took it apart and brought in my parts. Went in yesterday to inquire about spark ignitors for my gas stove. Spoke with gentleman (Dave) behind counter who found the parts I needed. They werent in stock but he had them for me the next day. They have been installed and the stove works great! Very friendly, helpful staff. Would highly recommend. Prices were just a tiny bit higher than online, but not much, and I was sure to get the correct parts.

Twice now they have saved me a load of money. 1 ac capacitor and 1 fridge overload relay. The first time 3 years ago I think I got the grumpy man and old lady. While not super personable, still very knowledgeable. This last time I brought in a part I thought was bad but turns out I didnt have the right tools to test it. A younger guy, super friendly and helpful, tested it for me and the fridge capacitor was good. Went home, pulled out the overload relay and it was the culprit. Would have been 60 bucks to replace with like kind but he gave me another option for just over 20 bucks which does the job of the capacitor and the relay. Worked like a charm. I dont understand the 1 🌟 reviews. I love the fact that theres a store like this nearby.UPDATE: It seems they are under new management. Ignore the old reviews from a year ago, the new owner is very helpful. I didnt know the business changed hands going in this last time, but I needed a part and this is the only shop in town. I have to say, Ive not had such good service damn near anywhere. Highly recommended.

Never had experience with previous owners but my understanding is there are new owners. I dealt with Vince and he was very polite, had the parts on hand and at a good price. I will definitely do business with them again for the simple convenience of having the parts same day!!!

Bottom line: This place is a 10! I went in on 7/6/18 to get a start capacitor for our AC. I was immediately provideded the correct part. Vincent was super knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He took several follow up calls from me later in the day as I worked through install and further trouble shooting. We got the AC working. No question this is the first place I will go upon my next appliance problem. (Be aware this business completely changed hands approximately a year ago)

The prices are somewhat higher than online outlets (understandably), but the team at DIY Appliance Parts will work with you and provide advice and guidance. The ability to get parts they dont stock the same day is a great benefit to anyone who needs to get their project done. I have spent several hundred dollars here, and although I could have saved maybe 10-15%, the fact that there are people here who care and want to help and will make it right is priceless.

They are getting a 1 star because there isnt an option for 0. This place is ran by a crotchety old man that needs to do the world a favor and retire. In the days where you can order parts straight to your door, a business like this has no place. Purchased two items, one for my oven one for my dishwasher. Oven part was in stock and the other was being shipped next day. Turns out I had a broken wire with my oven not the heating element so I went to return the element still in original packaging, screws still intact as well as their make shift price tag. The old man yelled No returns on Electrical Parts making reference to a sign on the wall then going into the back room and not returning. The sign reads for the safety of our customers we do not except returns on electrical or gas parts. I even told the lady that had to become the go between because the very rude owner disappeared, that I would take credit towards the part I was going to be ordering for my refrigerator while I was there. The lady went to talk to the grumpy old man to see if she could get him to change his mind. She came back saying he would give my $25 back of myour $48.95 purchase price. I again noted that this part was in perfect condition and that they were not only going to lose the sale of the refrigerator part but me as a customer for ever. I walked out with the part in my hand. If this return policy is TRULY for the safety of their customers, why would he agree to take it back for $25?????????

Faced with fridge cooling issues. Spoke to VIncent who was outstanding. Patiently asked me questions to diagnose the issue. After educating me on the issue and the various possible failure points, recommended that I do not waste money and start buying parts but do some additional testing to pinpoint the issue. Now, this is what I call integrity and honesty in operating and running a business. These positive behaviors, the calling to perform customer service vs running after a mighty dollar, are what draws customers to a business. VIncent, you now have a customer who will return to your store.

New owner is amazing! The old guy that owned the shop before was tough to deal with. Vincent is the exact opposite. He helped diagnose my washers problem but I decided to buy a new machine. Wanted to give him more of my business but I dont have the mechanical skills. Will return when my new machine breaks.

First and foremost, they are in the business of serving the public. The lady I spoke with sounded annoyed that I had an issue and was going to her for an appliance question. Secondly, this lady has absolutely no people skills. She should not be working with the public, if the public bothers her. In the past I dealt with a gentleman who was helpful that was why I was a repeat customer. Unfortunately this lady answered the phone. I will never go back for any reason and will let people know how this place treats its potential customers.

WOW, I called several times, 9 to be exact. They wont even pick up a phone call. You are better off trying a place in Colton, CA called Coast Appliance Parts, they answer their phone to check if parts are in stock for you.
