They are so great to work with. I hate the pressure environment of buying boots but I told them what I was looking for and they helped me find the boot I wanted without pushing one way or the other and when I was having fitting issues they were able to get me in the boot I wanted by switching insoles. 10/10 recommend if looking for a boot/shoe.
My husband is in construction and was looking for a comfortable pair for boots that will protect him while working. We came across Foot Wear Outfitters in Salt Lake City and we were so excited that there is a place that sells specific work boots for practically any industry! This place did not disappoint. The store was stocked with lots of options, pretty much everything was in stock and the customer service was outstanding. Sierra was patient and very knowledgeable about every single boot! So they don’t have a great selection of women’s boots. They didn’t have my size so I went half a size lower. The gal said there was a 30 day comfort guarantee and not to worry about it if it was a little small. I got the WORST blisters of my entire life. Tried to take the boots back and they refused to give me my money back because I wore the boots, saying they’d exchange them despite the fact that they still don’t have my size. If you don’t like greedy companies then don’t shop here.

The employee at the counter seemed distracted and disinterested in potential customers coming through their door, and his communication was not very clear and upfront... Had to pursue information that he might have been more mindful in taking the time to offer relevant details of my purchase experience without having to go to any considerable effort to achieve...When a customer is not the first priority, and is investing a large sum of their hard earned income, it would seem reasonable to expect a better shopping experience than what was being offered...
Oh. My. Gosh. I came to the store about 8 months ago.... back again today for repairs. What a totally different experience!!! Previously, the place was a mess, but I needed shoes so I got some. Today, the store is clean, organized, and the new management is amazing! No questions asked on my repairs. They were fully replaced. Wise decision, changing staff. Ill be back to buy steel toes for sure.

If you need work boots, this is the place to go. Awesome customer service. Youre gonna pay a little more for really good boots, but its more of an investment. A lot of repairs are included for free with your purchase, if you ever need them, and the resole service is very reasonable(not all boot/shoe styles accomadate resole service, but many of them do). Once you buy your boots you should be able to wear them for a good long time, and from what I could tell, most or all repairs are done right there in house. This will be your one stop shop for work footwear.
This review is an easy one. Great, and I do mean great customer service!! I bought a pair if Thorogood Boots, and had to return three times to have the boots instep stretched. No charge any of the times, and the owner was fantastic to work with. This kind of service has won my business. I will be back for sure. I also like supporting local businesses. Prices were very competitive. Try getting that service by buying online!

If I could give this company zero stars I would!!!! Took a pair of boots in to have tough toe applied something we have done there before, the last time we actually bought boots their and they did a wonderful job with the old guy that used to be there. I’m not sure who is running the place now days but we are very disappointed! Went in on Tuesday to have it done girl said she didn’t have time to do it but if we brought them back Friday she would have them done Saturday by 4:30 pm at half price. Brought them in Friday and the girl seemed confident in doing them. Went to pick them up Saturday to see the $170 boots ruined by the tough toe application!!!! The tough toe was all over soles and parts of the boots that were not supposed to have tough toe! The girl apologizing and blamed the work on a kid that did the application that she had said she would do herself.... then gave me tubes of tough toe to do myself but did not refund application! I have called and left messages for the owner with no return! Got home to have to tough tough pull off with no effort at all! Very disappointing do not go here to buy boots or boot repairs they do not know what they are doing! Nor does the owner take accountability! A company should not offer a services if their employees don’t know how to do it period!!

This is a go to place for work foot wear. I am consistently able to find something I like in this place. Always treated well by attentive employees. It looks like they are doing some remodeling. I am disappointed that there werent any Redwing options. Prices are competitive. Location is convenient if not obvious. Parking is limited due to construction. Egress is also limited.

Weve been looking for work boots for my husband for over a month. He needs special sizes and they had them in store. Michael was great and very helpful. Been doing my boot buying at foot wear outfitters for the last few years. Buy a new pair of keen boots every 9-12 months for work and the man in charge makes sure I feel like Im getting my moneys worth every time. Very knowledgeable about his wares and will do what it takes to keep me happy. Has cobbler services too in case your boots need a patch job down the line. Meticulous customer service...wont be buying boots anywhere else.

I went today to eat at east coast subs (4 doors down) and two girls that work at footwear, came outside to smoke. I couldnt even eat my sandwich outside, I had to go and sit in my car. FYI the law states you smoke 25 ft. AWAY from the building, not outside the door. Train your employees to be respectful.
I used to like this store but I think it got bought out or something and the knowledge as well as the brand of boot I liked (thorogood) are gone. Keen is a garbage work boot, get the timberlands if you go here.

Feel like they intentionally wasted my time on my 30 day return window so that I couldn’t exchange through the timberland website. Had to change my review. Nice enough unless you actually need them to do something (like exchange boots as they promised they would.) The guy made sure to mention that I wouldn’t be able to exchange them again.. well, I am sure that I won’t be giving my business to this store again. Unfortunate that people selling shoes actually think that you can pick a WORK boot by trying it on for two minutes. Easier to just return them online yourself than be lied to AND pay a markup.

I giving one star. Because I buy a pair keen boots,and I used around 4 months and I get water . So they give me a second pair no cuestión nothing, so my second pair of boots I wear only one month and the sole are cracking . The manager he try to help me fixing my boots. And two months later I get water again and then he say your warranty is expired . I pay a lot money for those work boots for nothing.

Ordered boots a week ago they said they would call when they came in. A week past, so I called and the guy says over the phone: oh sorry yeah I forgot to call you but they are right here Ill set them aside for you. So then I went in to pick them up and he said ohh your going to kill I ordered the wrong boots in (They were the wrong size and wrong color). Then he said ok tomorrow morning first thing Ill send a rush order then Ill call you. So I waited and guess who didnt call. So I called them to follow up, he said he had other customers and he hadnt even called timberland yet to send in the order.(I personally dont think he would have called them at all.) I asked for a refund then he agreed but then he called me back and said he couldnt. So no boots and no money back and an ongoing battle for some boots I need for work. I would recommend anywhere else. Walmart or Payless would be better than this place. Youve been wait.Response to the Owner:Weird the owner had time to call and tattle to my company when he didnt at the exact same time (because of the customers in his store) have time to call timberland to place an order. Hmmm? Calling me a liar, cool story bro, bet that made you feel better about yourself.

Best boot store Ive been in. They have quality boots and are very knowledgeable. Went in there today looking for a decent pair of slip on square toe boots that were nice enough for a wedding and happened to find some on clearance. Ill certainly be going back for actual work boots. Ive worn boots all my life working 10-12 hours a day in them and have had my fair share of red wings, Carolinas, cat and timberland. This store actually carries thorogoood boots. Very similar to redwing but cost less due to private ownership vs corporate ownership. I have been going to the redwing store in west valley the last 3-4 years and each time I had gone in there the service was horrible. They had little to no knowledge of what they were selling. Today I was blown away with the service I got at footwear outfitters. Very knowledge with new boot specs as well as knowing how to make a pair of boots last. When I get my next pair here in a month or so ill be shooting for 2-3 years of life. Normally I wear boots out in a year or less. Hope this helps you decide to switch where you go. I wont be going anywhere else.
