I would give 0 stars if I could. They locked the door in my face - closing 5minutes early 10/28/21. I knocked on the door and both sales girls just ignored me. I just had a quick return. I wont be going back to this store and after I return the item I have won’t shop at Sephora again. Anyone who hires people that don’t understand customer service will not get my business.

I recently went to this Sephora store for one specific item. I had my toddler with me, who was being a terror at the time, so shopping was hard and I wanted to get in and get out. One of the girls on the floor was very helpful with assisting me in where to find certain products and her recommendations all while trying to help entertain my toddler. I had gotten a few different things but the ONE THING I specifically came for was the Herbivore CBD oil. Unfortunately they have another Hempstead oil that looks practically identical in packaging and Unfortunately the girl helping me grabbed the wrong box, and of course I didnt notice until I got home.. which is 3 hours away πŸ™ƒ because I live in the middle of nowhere. Anyways, I tried to contact Sephora online and they werent much help but directed me to call the store. I did and got in touch with the store manager, Kathie, who was an AMAZING and huge help! It wouldve been super inconvenient for me to drive 6 hours in a day with my toddler for one item exchange. So she went above and beyond in helping me! Im so happy to finally have the right product and loved the samples she sent to me as well! And beyond thankful that she saved me the drive. Seriously the sweetest baby angel there ever was! Thank you so so so much!

I received excellent customer service from all (5!) of the employees I interacted with today, but especially Ashley.Ashley immediately asked me if I needed assistance, helped me find products I knew I wanted as well as choose several products and product alternatives that would work with my skin. Not best costumer service, the First Lady barely helped me then had another girl help me. Which that girl said she was gonna come back and finish helping me. Never did. Next guy helped me then helped another customer, when he wasn’t even done helping me with what I needed. Said he would help her and come back. Never did. Then by that time someone else helped me. He should of just finished helping me with what I needed then moved to the next costumer. I felt like that was rude. He never got back to me cause the next associate helped me. But it’s okay. You should of just finished helping me then the other associate could of got the next person. Instead trying to help two people at the same time. When he was helping me first. And not finishing answer the other question I had. Finally the last lady was actually nice and patient with me. And really took the time to help me.

LOVE this store!! The employees are always very helpful and easy to find. If I need something, it’s usually in stock here. They keep things stocked pretty well. They recently put more mirrors and areas with tissues, cotton pads, make up remover, etc. which is nice when it’s busy. I love the layout and it’s one of the better Sephora’s that I have been to.

The male manager is so rude. I got there 7 minutes before they closed and he would not let me in. He was at the front and wouldnt even come talk to me. He just kept shaking his head no. I called the store so I could actually talk to someone since no one dared open the door. The manager was rude on the phone saying they close early so they can leave by 7 PM, which is the time the store closes. Ive worked in retail many years and Ive never heard of a store closing early so everyone can leave by the closing time. Thats such bad customer service.

Not the best.Currently they have a line arranged outside because of covid, and it moved pretty fast. Wasn’t too upset by their occupancy regulationβ€”however the experience inside wasn’t great. Right when I went in, I rifled through my purse because I was looking for my shopping list, and was asked by three different workers if I needed help in the short time while I was doing so. Then two of them went into the corner and watched me, pointing and talking. I’m pretty sure they thought I was shop lifting. Fair enough!Proceeded to walk around. I had a gift card, so I was comparing prices, etc. A few minutes later, a worker comes over and gives a bag to my friend and says β€œHere’s a shopping bag for your makeup”, no asking politely or anything, just shoving the bag towards her hands. Rude! My friend was only holding a pencil liner. After we got what we wanted, we left. I maxed out my gift card, because I didn’t want to have to go back ever again.Also, they have testers/samples out, but you aren’t allowed to touch them. Which, is understandable for hygienic purposes! But why have them out if we aren’t allowed to pick them up and observe them? Just don’t put them out! Other makeup stores do this, but not Sephora. I kept accidentally picking them up or just touching them or whatever, and I had two employees come over to scold me! They said β€œIf you would like to view this product, we can get one out for you.” There is no way I am doing that for every product I want to look at. Not the best floor plan philosophy in my opinion. I dont recommend this Sephora.

Drove all the way out to this store at 11:00am (1/21/21) trying to return something. I guess this store decided to randomly not open till 3:00pm without updating the online hours. So I decided to stop by the Sephora inside the JC Penny on my way home. They couldn’t accept a simple return because they β€œdon’t have that item in stock at this store, and we can’t return things we don’t currently carry.” Unreal. It shouldn’t be this hard to do a basic transaction on the only free day I had this week.

I went on a weekend so it was pretty crowded, but I still got excellent service with a surprisingly short wait considering how many people were there. I took in an almost empty container of my mother-in-laws foundation because I wanted to surprise her with something higher end, and the girl who helped me was able to perfectly match a tiiiny swatch from the old foundation (there were literally just a few crumbs left to work with) to a liquid foundation. My mother-in-law is thrilled with it and its exactly the right shade! I wish I had asked for the girls name so I could credit her properly because she had some forensic level skill to match shades for someone who wasnt present, but if youre reading this, thank you! I also got recommended some skincare products from another girl which are working out wonderfully so far. It was well worth the drive for such a big selection and helpful staff.

Yes! Sephora is amazing with some all natural makeups and even discounts here and there! They are a more upscale beauty store but the quality products are well worth the money. My eye makeup lasts about a year and I wouldnt shop anywhere else for it! :-) in the Christmas season it gets super packed though and you cant even walk through the store. The lines back up and it is a good 20 minute weight! so go in Fall to stock up and prepare to spend a lot for some good quality makeup:-)

Not many facial cleansers in store or hair care as compared to online, but most larger cosmetic brands.You can get samples if you want to see how something wears or works for you although they do have a good return policy. He showed me this tester box that is the perfect gift because you get to try out multiple smells and truly choose your favorite! I went to their contour class and they not only recommended makeup specific to my skin tone, but made it easy to reference in the future by emailing the products straight to me. They answered all my questions, helped me pick out what I was looking for around the store and I got to do all of this while the store was closed so it was like having the place all to myself. Customer service used to be great here. Now, I have asked for assistance from two color artists who have matched me wrong. Each time, they are rude, pick up one foundation, rub a small amount on my jaw, say it matches and walk away. The second time, the girl mentioned needing to clean her brushes as she is using one to apply foundation to my face. I have no clue if it as clean or not, but thats disgusting. The first time, I went home to try the foundation I was yellow. The second time, I was grey.I finally went to the City Creek store and told them how unhappy this location made me. I was very well taken care of. The girl tested multiple foundations on me and sent me home with samples of each one. She told me to let the foundation dry before really judging it, as this can change the color (why couldnt the Fashion Place workers have told me this?)Skip Fashion Place and go to City Creek, where they are nice and will actually take good care of you.

I had a decent experience here. The employees in the makeup area have a tendency to walk past people a lot.The employees in the skincare area, however, were AMAZING. Overall service was less than pleasing. I wasnt acknowledged or greeted during and felt like the peasant to them. The fragrance dept however was AWESOME. A guy headed this portion and was so knowledgeable about the brands and had great suggestions toward my taste and undertones I was looking to try. He knows his fragrances. I left with samples of some pretty pricey options. The makeup dept. though wasnt my favorite. I wanted to try Too Faceds new Born this way and asked for a color match. She took her sweet time getting to me and stopped to talk to others while in the middle of it. She started by asking if I had much product on my skin and looked to my acne scars and nearly chuckled. Yes I have my acne scars uncovered in public.. and I know theyre bad. thats what Im here to sample foundations for. Im sensitive about skin problems and didnt need the reminder. She also wouldnt admit there was no shade that matched me and just kept saying the lighting was weird there and the more she looked at it the nicer it matched. They carried nothing light enough for me. It was orange. And if it didnt look good under their deceiving lighting (meant to make everything look lovely) then no way could it be a match. I wish she wouldve suggested another good brand for what I described I needed (acne coverage, sensitive on skin, etc). Will be back for fragrance though. This guy treated me like a valued customer and knew his stuff. He spent his time helping me without acting burdened or inconvenienced.

If I could give this zero stars I would. Im very disappointed. I went in with my friends and one of my friends found a brush I wanted and showed me it. Your employee snatched it out of her hands and said We have testers you could look at. Which there was no tester there. We told her that and she said thats why you ask and we can get it for you. Im sad I dont remember the ladies name who had helped me but she was a superstar. Seriously. I went in to exchange a lip stick I had bought, but decided Id get advice on skincare because I had flakiness on parts of my face but then oiliness on others. I had ALWAYS thought I had oily skin. Well, turns out I have really dry skin and it was oily because it was compensating for the dryness. She recommended peels, hydrating face mask, and oils. She gave me samples of 2 oils and peels. I tried one of the peels and one of the oils and I dont remember the last time my face felt this healthy!! Im definitely going back to purchase everything she recommended and to learn her name. My life has been changed.

I was shocked when I read some of these reviews because I have never had a problem here until yesterday and some of the same things happened to me! I came in with my daughter (which was a first for me), and I only came in to do a quick exchange. I let the girl know at the front, who was super friendly: at first. It was like a switch went off when I mentioned I was only there for an exchange. After that, I felt like all of the employees were watching me. I’m not sure if it was my daughter or if they thought I might steal something or what. One employee did come up and ask me if I needed help, but again once I said that I was doing an exchange they just walked away without saying a word. I was having a hard time finding the right color for the exchange, so the girl from the front just came up behind me, found the color for me, then walked away without a word. It was seriously the strangest thing. Not sure if I will be back.

I am very disappointed by the service it this location versus City Creek. I️ live downtown, so that is the location I️ shop at, almost weekly. I️ am a VIB and received a free makeover coupon for my status. When I️ went to use it, I️ ended up spending the 50$ minimum. The downtown manager told me since I️ spent the money and I️ shop there so often, they would still honor it, even though it would be outside the 90 day window. Everyone that works at this location is so friendly and helpful. I️ called Fashion Place today because downtown was booked for makeovers, and they said they would not honor my coupon. I️ have spent 150$ in the last 3 weeks at Sephora and could see in my account I️ had not ever received my free makeover. This location clearly does not value the customer like the downtown location does.

Really NOT impressed with the service I received yesterday. I was in there for a solid 30 minutes before someone asked if I needed help finding anything. It wasnt until I was done shopping that I finally got helped. I genuinely needed help finding the right product and information about a new product I was interested in trying. This is pretty much my go to location because I also work at the mall. At first the girls were super kind and helpful, now theyre rude and act bothered when I come in. I have got to give it to Katie (the one with the minion on her name tag) she has been my saving grace. But first, even if they are crazy busy, you still get welcomed. You still are asked if you need help. I haven’t been into an actual Sephora in over a year. I don’t live close to one. I came in looking for a specific foundation but they were out, it’s hot on the market right now so I’m not angry. But I also was curious about skincare. Ever since I moved to Utah, my face has taken a turn for the worst. It seems like I’ve tried ever drug store cleanser and I’m at the end. So I stopped Katie for some help. After some questions, she presented me with a cleanser and a moisturizer. She was so pleasant to talk to. She didn’t force me into buying anything and gave me samples to take home. A couple days later, I’m still thinking of her amazing customer service and the amazing products she suggested. I just put in an order. I never felt so confident in buying products and this is all because she took the time to help me out. I will travel over and over again to get help from Katie and any of her team members! There’s an issue with this Sephora and watching their customers acting like they’re all going to steal. I live in DTLA, CA and they’re not even that hounding like some of these women are.No hoodie, no large clothes, not even a large purse β€” just a cross body purse in my work clothes and I was asked at least 5-6 times in a 30 minute period (I like to browse after I’m off work since my field is in cosmetics) and once I’d turn the corner, would see someone staring or looking.They are polite. But not discreet.

I was in sephora yesterday, I was just wearing plain dress, boots with my jacket on. I asked the price of a makeup brush set to an associate when she returned to me she put back the item in the rack and told me β€œoh that’s $25” and stared at me like I can’t afford it. I walked out and didn’t buy anything. I was so mad because I am judge. 😩🀬😑

I have yet to be disappointed by sephora. They took it up a notch though which I didn’t think was possible, specifically Crysten. She is a SWEETHEART! She helped my mama and I out so much with the perfumes and colognes, she knows her stuff and knows it well. She provided me with her number so she could send me recommendations on a cologne to get my husband for our year anniversary, I was blown away!

The associates at Sephora were really nice and approacable. I asked for help to match my skin color to a fenty foundation. She took her time and found the perfect color for me. Another girl offered samples for primers I was curious about. I didnt know Sephora did that so thanks! I will be back.

I was planning on purchasing a $225 straightener so I had several questions, after I asked a couple of questions she seemed to be in a hurry and started walking away saying is that all? I went in there a month later and basically had the same experience in the skin care section. It seems like they dont have time to help you.

I have called this Sephora 7 times in the past 2 days (not an exaggeration) and no body answered each time. If you have a phone, answer it. So unprofessional. I will be taking my business else where.
