I’m a college student who knows nothing about cars. The mechanics at this place always talk to me with respect. I feel comfortable asking questions about pricing and logistics, which I don’t feel at most car places. They’re super nice, I recommend them to all of my friends.

I am absolutely in love with Distinctive Auto. My bf and I take all 3 of our vehicles here for any kind of service. These guys will always work with you and wont jerk you around just to up their prices. Even when the lot is full they get our vehicles done fast. Weve been using them since Jan 2021 and havent had an issue since, we are so lucky and grateful to have found them. I have recommended everyone I know to come to Distinctive cause I know they wont be sorry.

I have been taking my cars to Distinctive Auto Repair for the past several years. The mechanics are highly knowledgeable and have performed any necessary repairs in a quick and timely manner. You would be hard pressed to beat their pricing anywhere else in Murfreesboro.

Went to this shop to get my car Fixed, gave them the honest reason of what happened to my car and proceeded to tell them it’s probably a rack or knuckle. Ya boy shawn looked through “everything” and said that I must have a bent frame. My car sat at this place for two weeks. I picked up my car, took it to big o tires, literally within two days I got my car back from big o FIXED. It was my rack and pinion (so much for checking everything aye?) on top of that, shawn wasn’t concerned about fixing my car, he was too caught up in snitching on me and my buddy. This place is a joke and nightmare all in one. Save ur time and money and go to a family owned and trusted business.

Distinctive has done several jobs on my F150. I have been please with the work they have done.

Went to get car diagnosed was told pull up a chair its expensive 350 for labor 595 for part he showed me the part I googked it low and behold the part is 100 he upcharging 495 when I asked about me ordering the part my self and then installing it be assured me he would call and give me updated quote never heard from them again and now nobody knows the employee I dealt with

Im a new customer and have never had a better experience with mechanic! I had a check engine light come on and got the runaround from the dealership - wanting to tell me everything under the sun was wrong. I was referred to Distinctive by a friend and I am so thankful. Distinctive got me in, diagnosed the ONE problem, ordered the part, and had me out the door - same day. Noah was awesome from start to finish. He kept me updated throughout the day and he had my vehicle ready when he said it would be ready. The price was more than fair and the work exceptional. No surprises. No runaround. Each time that I spoke with Noah or Chris, I had consistent and positive answers. They gave me good answers and allowed me to ask questions. They were very polite and friendly. My car was ready when they said that it would be ready. This is a great company and we are very pleased with their work. We found them about a year ago and this is the second car that we have trusted them to repair.

Parking lot is jammed full of customers but they get work done quickly and well without a lot of fuss.

They’re quick, efficient and have good customer service. That means a lot to me as I’ve been on the other end of the spectrum many times. So, I would definitely work with them again for my repairs.

Absolutely love these guys!!! I’ve been slowly putting the work into my car it’s been needing for a while and they’ve been on top of things since the start! I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else in Middle Tennessee.The only thing is that because they’re always so busy, if you don’t make an appointment it may take longer for you to get your vehicle back than previously expected. That’s okay though, because these guys will definitely take care of you!

Great service. I just started taking both of my vehicles here. They have fixed things that other shops couldnt find or ignored.

Recently purchased a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 and needed to have the truck looked over as well as have riveted ball joints removed. Chris did a great job and had all the service completed in less than two days. Ball joints, transmission service, oil change, front brakes and new rear shocks. Truck drives great! I highly recommend!

A friend pushed my to drive to Murfreesboro and get a second opinion from Chris at Distinctive Auto after receiving a repair estimate for $3000. It took a little longer than expected and was a little frustrating but honestly the amount of detail Chris puts into the car is mind blowing. For this reason and their kindness this business is 5 star worthy. It’s still a new company with less than a year on the ground so it seems they are still organizing and get unorganized. They’re honest, which is a big deal especially in the auto repair world, get the job done quickly, and always give me the best price. They do it all. I had a great experience with Distinctive, they were very understanding and conscientious, did a great job on a transmission replacement (2014 outback with 105k: SHAME ON YOU SUBARU). Only 4 stars cuz there was a problem with ordering the part and it took longer than it should. Otherwise a 5 star experience.

These guys are amazing! I had one of my service trucks break down in Franklin on a Wednesday evening around 5:30pm and Austin sent a tow truck out and had it towed to Murfreesboro and even had my truck fixed by 10:00 that same night and i was able to pick it up the very next morning. It’s great to have a shop that understands how important it is to a business to have their vehicles on the road everyday. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

I was having an electrical issue with my truck. My friend told me about distinctive auto repair. So i took my truck in and they were able to locate and fix the problem quick and got me back on the road.

The customer service at Distinctive Auto Repair is truly refreshing. I called these guys about a month ago with a problem that I simply could not figure out. Chris told me to bring it in and he would make room for me. I was there approx. 2 hours and he had ascertained the problem, had the part delivered and I was back on the road. I am back today with a different issue..,which says quite a bit, due to the fact that I live in Hendersonville (52 miles one way).

Since my review a year ago when Distinctive put the parts on my Rodeo I cannot go through a car wash. The grill sticks out on the sides and puts out. It almost got ripped completely off the first time I went through a carwash. My husband had to fix the ignition because it was jig rigged and still had the same issue I went in with. The grill guard they took off was shoved in the back end of vehicle and made a mess of my Rodeo.The bumper was put on crooked and then the grill was tighted too tight with zip ties and it caused it bulge out on the sided which is what caused the problem with the car wash. I definitely didnt get my $300 worth.

The shop times posted on the door are 8:00-6:00. On September 12, 2018, I waited 45 minutes and no one showed up. After calling at 9:30, the workers said they showed up a little after 9:00 that day. Unreliable service loses my business.
