Cute bistro with indoor and outdoor seating. My husband and I have enjoy coming here for breakfast and endless coffee. Strawberry crepes are my favorite here. The dinner menu also looks fantastic. We will have to try it soon.
Fantastic food! The place is smaller than I imagined. The outside is....not great and its located in a dying strip mall. But- and huge but- the inside is cute and the food was fantastic. Id come back again!
SO good!! I will admit I was a little hesitant at first. However, the food was incredible! I recommend the scallops and shrimp, soup (French onion + soup of the day), the creme brûlée, and the fruit tart. I got a bunch of desserts to go as well, and they were all equally as delicious!

The pastries are good but Ive tried multiple kitchen dishes and none were even just okay. They always tasted kind of funny? The service is also makes you feel like a nuisance sometimes.
Very well organised and accessible place. They provide big portions and for fair prices. We enjoyed the menu very much and the waiters were very attentive and informative. Highly recommended.
Great food and great service!Ive been going to Taste for about 5 years! Small and out of the way, I almost didnt find it BUT when I did, Whoop! The place has an Eiffel Tower right in the middle of it as part of decoration, making it super cute and cozy. Chef Claude is from France so he is legit! Hence the name. Lol Awesome Eggs Benedict on the weekends and they have some great daily specials. Chef Claude is also an excellent chef as well as baker. That baking skill is on display in his restaurant when you walk in as well as the smell of baked goods! They are closed on Mondays and are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All in all a great place to eat for a great price!
We had lunch for the 3rd time at this wonderful little restaurant. The food and coffee are great!!! This time I had a spinach and mushroom quiche. So good!! Then I had an apple gallette. Perfect! I had to take half of the dessert home....but it did not go to waste! The worst part of going to this cafe is making choices about what you are going to eat. I noticed that they have loafs of bread, so I do plan to go there this week for bread. Also note they have service on the sidewalk in little glass houses that are sold, I believe as greenhouses....so cute. Inside the decor is totally creative, you have to go and see it. Also, the staff are very nice and the service is great.
Good food, but its a bit heavier than what you may think as traditional French cuisine. It has an Americanized quality of large cuts of meat and a but more deep frying and greasy dishes, but they are quite delicious.
The food is very good including the deserts and the restaurant is family friendly.
Ordered over the phone for pickup. I ordered some breakfast items. I walked in and was greeted politely. The staffs’ customer service is great. It was busy but they were fast paced. I also bought bakery items that look delicious. The breakfast is good. I really like the inside of the restaurant and it’s cute for the size of the restaurant. Nice outdoor setting too.
Had the best mushroom and spinach omelet of my life... and French toast. Saved me a trip to Paris. Will be back soon!

What a delight - well-executed French bistro cuisine - definitely worth a trip! Service very prompt and friendly. The sauces are very well done, vinaigrettes have an excellent zing. Save room for dessert: the chocolate mousse bomb is just that: The Bomb! Will go there anytime we are near Chicago or Milwaukee, looking forward to next time trying their breakfasts. Added bonus: delicious breads, brioche and croissants from their bakery counter.
Accommodating and polite staff, good pandemic policy with isolated outdoor seating options, and a delicious omelet. I cant speak for how closely they achieve their namesake, but I will gladly go again when I am back in the area.
Bakery items that are gluten free by original recipe! I didnt know what a macaroon really was until now! The chef/owner Claude, is the real deal! Can not wait to come back! I would have taken a picture but I ate everything!
Come for the food, return for the people. Chef Claude is a master of the culinary arts and a pleasure to talk to. The pastries are also wonderful and I love that I can just pop by and grab some. My boyfriend and I especially love the almond croissants. Cest magnifique!
The croissants are delicious but the meringue wasnt fresh tasting. The staff was a bit inattentive and surly. I belive they have potential if the serve with a smile.
How is it possible that we’d never eaten here before?!?? We’d enjoyed their chocolate croissants before but had never had a full breakfast. After some friends recommended it, we decided to give it a go.Ours was a party of 5 and we were seated, at our request, in one of the outdoor mini-greenhouses they’ve installed due to Covid. The mini-greenhouse feels like a very clever and on-brand solution to enable outdoor dining and it worked well for our party of 5. Note: they are also open, currently, for indoor dining.I had the Eggs Benedict served on a croissant with potatoes on the side — which was fantastic. The poached eggs, Hollandaise sauce, ham and croissant were wonderfully balanced. The potatoes provided a great side - crisp, appropriately salty and all-around yummy.My wife had a Brie and green onion omelet which was also great. We also tried their quiche of the day, which was very good. Our kids were with us, so we also had a taste of the chocolate croissant (which our 2 year old is now calling “chocolate burger!”), the cinnamon-raisin French toast (daily special) and the Nutella and banana crepes — all were really great.The coffee was hot/tasty and the service was prompt and friendly. We left satisfied, making plans to come back for breakfast with the family and wondering if their dinner menu can possibly be this good!As an aside: this breakfast, which was enough food for 5, including sides, drinks and tax was less than $100. Highly recommended!Update: I have now eaten at Taste of Paris for breakfast at least a dozen times, with parties as small as 5 and as large as 12. I have yet to have a meal that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. Chef Claude and his team are doing it right — every time. We love Taste of Paris!

Great breakfast definitely have my sugar fix for the week now. From the specials to the deserts to what looked like an incredible special event menu I am very happy we finally made it in. We will be back soon to try the rest of the menu and have to bring my daughter back to sit underneath the Eiffel tower. Thanks again for a perfect after street scenes breakfast at 11:30 in the morning.

Genuine French food from a genuine French chef. Chef Claude is a passionate and kind man. The food is rich and delicious. The deserts are heavenly. I have not been disappointed by a single dish and i have visited several times. The service is great and friendly and the food comes out quickly. The 2nd room could be a little nicer.

They were very accommodating and kind! They were on top of things, but not obnoxious. The food was scrumptious, we really enjoyed our first time eating here! The fruit tart was fabulous! My husband really enjoyed his birthday dinner here tonight! He used to live in France, so it was a nice treat for him.
Seafood crepes were awesome. Scallops were perfect. Steak and Fries and Ratatouille Crepes were very good. Pastries were great and we really appreciate the personal service. Well done. We will be back.

Love the place, live the chef, their croissant is the best around, their cookies and ham and cheese croissant is out of this world. If you have kids the chef is amazing with them, ask him to perform the toothpick trick your kids would love it. Also they sell a caramel candy, that is not theirs but is amazingly chewy and runny. Ask them in your way out.

Nice, charming, cozy French restaurant. Since this is the only French place in the area, I rated it a little higher than I should because I would hate to see it go. They have a small menu, but it has all the key French dishes like quiches, crepes, etc. and they even have a bakery display with fresh breads and deserts. Overall, a great place!

The decor is like coming into a Parisian home with Eiffel Tower to boot!Seriously, their food rivals ANY 4-5 star restaurant downtown. The bakery is stocked with varied traditional French and American pastries & cookies. Try the Paris Brest for a delightful taste of Paris! Their macaroons are perfectly crispy & light. Out of the way French bakery with full service restaurant as well. I can only attest to the bakery (for now) which is outstanding. The selection is large, even in the afternoon, and the pricing is more than fair. Pleasant service complete the deal.
