I like this Target location. They keep the store very clean and orderly. All the products are shelved properly with nothing scattered across the floor or out of place like some other stores. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.The optical shop is probably my favorite place to get glasses. I get my eyes checked elsewhere but tend to bring my prescription here to purchase my glasses.

Because of such great team members like Stefanie V. She has been helpful to me and others, especially when checking out. Very friendly and professional. Because I have a red card, I took advantage of checking out without having to wait in a long line. Target has a kiosk right near the registers which makes for rapidly exiting with your purchases. Thanks again Stephanie. This is the second time youve been right there at the right time!

John Paul is a straight chad even though he was working in the tech department he still helped me find the rubbing alcohol he’s a great man

Severely disappointed with the staff at starbucks. I frequent this store with my family and I was shopping today as usual. We stopped at starbucks, just to witness one of the employees walking around with a serious attitude problem. Very disrespectful. She almost seemed annoyed with the special requests from the other customer. But had a fake “smile” or fake positivity. I did not catch her name, she seemed younger with long brown hair and glasses. I always an so pleased with starbucks, they know my drink and are always smiling. This time was different.

Great store. Very clean. Awesome selection. The parking lot is clean and well lit. The return process was quick and easy. The staff is very helpful and the food and drink options are tremendous. It is easy in and very easy check out process. Close to Home Depot and Starbucks.

Susan was very helpful and helped me check out quickly when I was waiting in the cashier line. She also took the time to show me how to use my Target Circle votes to donate to charities. Thank you Susan for making my short shopping trip great!

Usman in pharmacy was being very rude. He was wearing his mask below his nose. I watched as he sneezed and wipe his nose. When I told him his mask was below his nose he laughed at me before pulling it up and then asked if I felt like a big man I was so disgusted I left without being able to pick up my moms prescription amd will now have it transferred to another pharmacy. Its too bad bc I liked the other pharmacist.

The used to be good. They have an ok selection of stuff still, but I dont like the new layout. I also prefer the normal checkout lanes because they are cleaner. Finally, they apparently have a no return policy on certain items like card games, but it isnt posted. They wouldnt do a direct exchange even though I had a gift receipt.

My personal experience was great. Mobile ordering for pickup went smoothly and quickly. I got a phone call right as I walked up to mobile pickup and the employee helped me through the call to get my order in a timely manner which I really appreciated. Managers on shift provided great customer service. I heard the male manager over a radio advising the floor to assist customers despite being close to closing time which I also appreciated that. Female manager assisted at checkout making sure guests were directed to available cashiers and even my cashier was a very nice lady. Although this location is not nearest to my house I will go out of my way to go here if I ever need to. I should add this because its important to many people at this time that the location is very clean and organized.

Great customer service! Today I saw a video on How McDonalds is test AI automated drive-thrus in the Chicagoland area. When have you come across someone with a happy face in a drive thru?? What does this have to do with Target - bare with me...Today I went in to a UPS store to send a package. When I greeted the person behind the counter with a Happy Hello. There was no response, grumbling and using his finger for pointing what to do next. Seems like UPS store needs AI automation too! BUT When I came in to Target. There was Kim.. Saw the self checkout was packed and the express lane was getting deep. Brought me over to the next cashier station brought me over and had me out of there in no time! Thanks Kim! Nice to see some looking out to keep the lines moving and with a smile.

We adore the bakery, and were able to pick up cupcakes from the wonderful decorator, Debbie. Her decorations make our day. She is so talented, and I make sure to tell everyone to get cupcakes from Debbie at Target.

A collectible item was in stock at this store only, it was opened and had damage but no other store had it for 50 miles.

Service and product availability

I love this store. Every time I approach the register I am reminded that the staff are miles ahead of most others in retail. They are super clean, wiping all customer contact areas, in addition to greeting you with a friendly smile. I really appreciate good customer service and this store never disappoints. I jokingly told one cashier that they should train the other stores. In actuality they are more than qualified to be the flagship store for how to sanitize.

I would like to thank Susan in Guest Services for her help. She helped me sign up for a Red Card and then helped me order a Christmas tree. Susan was very kind and patient. She is a real asset to Target.

I HATE that there are not actual check out lanes open in the morning. I HATE going through the self checkout, I have been doing less shopping at Target because of this, and more shopping at Costco.

You did not have the items that showed online out and on the shelf. I had to ask two members and even though it showed a qty of 6 on hand, the employee came back 10 minutes later with only two items. When asked if there were any more in back, I was told there was not. This was said despite the fact the truck came in this morning and was just completed being unloaded.The employees are keeping items more and more and not stocking them on the floor. This has been happening more and more in the last 6 months and I only see it increasing as time goes by.

Shopping experience is always positive, also having options to curbside pickup, ship to home and use the Shipt program through Target.

Rey and Karlie were very helpful. Pleasant and knowledgeable. Had previously gone to Target in Crystal Lake and was very dissatisfied. They did not help at all. Rey helped me retrieve my contacts and calendar from my SIM card.

The Manger and Associate at customer service were extremely unhelpful. I have worked in the service industry for over 20 years and the level of service I received was unacceptable. At the end to top it all of the only apology was the associate apologizing to the manager.

I love that the stores Mundelein and Gurnee are always clean, associates are always helpful and willing to go the extra mile to assist you. I really appreciated that while the store gets busy there is someone to jump in to keep the lines are a minimum.

Why the have Starbucks/hot food concessions in store open if you cant eat/ drink while in store shopping. Dumb rule. I can go out to eat and take my mask down and sit next to and across from people but god forbid I take my mask down for 3 seconds to take a sip of coffee while shopping.

He deserves a raise!I had another online purchase and chose Target because it was competitive in pricing and I trust it. Plus, its usually a pleasant pickup experience. Well, it was! I had a young woman this time who was all of the above and more.

Half of the stuff I looked at wouldn’t scan on the app. I found a price scanner, that didnt work. I went to take money out at checkout and it would not let me. I had to buy something I didnt want at another register to get cash back at a different register. I called an employee over and he said to get something from the other register to take cash out.

Due to the great friendly service I receive continuously in the Starbucks Coffee shop by Jocelyn the new Manager. Enjoy my coffee at Starbucks 7 days a week and although Jocelyn is new to her position She has been a good pleasant worker for quite some time and is well deserving of her advancement

Best staff at this Target. Very friendly and they do everything possible to make things right. With the remodel completed, stocking is much better and the store feels clean and open. Drive-up option is also quick and easy.

If at all possible I think they need to hire special people to pick out the produce. I was not happy every time I order that from Target....

Shop here a lot because its close to my home. Always clean, nice staff, but everything is slightly overpriced.

This is MY Target and I am so glad. Last week I went in for a few things with my kids. The lines were starting to build up and I saw the manager on it. She was smiling, upbeat, and professional with her staff, giving them kudos over the walkie when it was all handled swiftly and smoothly. After checking out I went to the pick up counter. They were clearly busy with holiday orders, running out to the parking lot to do curbside deliveries, but they were smiling! They greeted me right off and let me know it would be a brief wait. They were still smiling when they assisted me. I loved the positive vibe and customer oriented service.

My favorite Target in the area especially after McHenry was closed down. Its super Target so its extra large and thier remodel has made the store so much better. It has everything you expect from your local Target. This location is a great substitute for those looking for a store with a great toy selection after the Toys R Us closes.

Target Circle items not all recognized at scan-out. I will have to return to the store for remedy at customer service this has happened many times!!

Went to get cards against Humanity was asked for an ID and I am 33 most of the time and never asked me for an ID and a personal self check out was very rude her name is pryea asked for the store manager she blamed me for it all said I was rude

The young lady, Hannah who checked me out was fantastic. She was very patient and helpful. All the employees throughout the store were very friendly and pleasant.

I worked at this Target many moons ago. Target typically provides the best department store shopping experience, and this location is no exception. Wide aisles, great lighting, reasonable prices, helpful and friendly staff. I also am a huge fan of the clothing, great value and I often get compliments (but remember its not what you wear, but how you wear it). Plenty of parking spots. Always a positive experience at this Target.

Excellent customer service. Had an issue with a rug and the item barcode code #, and was extremely irritated, but once I brought up the situation to the manager Susan, she made it right and went the extra mile to assure I was satisfied with the outcome. Phenomenal customer service skills!!

I went to the Mundelein Target about noon today. Even though there was a lot of shelves that were bare and people were crabby the employees were stocking as fast as they could with a smile on their face. One singing Sugar, sugar who wants some sugar as she brought out a cart of dry goods. I had an issue that I needed manager assistance. Listening to the employees talk to each other on the walkies they had you could tell they were all having fun given the situation they were in. From the time I walked in the store, to the time I left, every employee in there had a smile on their face. I give a real shout out to each and every one of them. It was refreshing to see people pull together even when times are hectic and uncertain. Great job!!!

You guys are the ones I shop for clothes and gifts through. Its a very useful store. Although the prices are high its still somewhere I always return to. Plus its also very convenient. I love the displays, but everything is very spread out now, and nothing is labeled, so until you get to know the lay of the land, its very hunt and peck - add about 30 minutes to your trip each time until you find your way well enough.

Michael (Senior at Grayslake Central) went above and beyond to engage in conversation and had an upbeat friendly personality. He exceeded our expectations and made us feel comfortable. Great job and good luck in college!!

Ordering and pick up were easy!

Since the renovations that have taken place in your stores, I have found the stores to be less likely to be my go-to place to shop. I used to love the store and would have given it a 10 a year or two ago, but no more. The selection has seriously diminished, I cannot buy items there that I used to, the addition of music was the worst idea EVER and the layout of the store is horrible. I used to enjoy the store and found it to be very relaxing, now it is stressful and I cannot wait to get out. I also need to go additional stores to pick up things I can no longer get there.

The target personal is very friendly and helpful. They will stop what they are doing to greet me, ask me if I need help or direct me to where I need to go. They always double check to see if there is anything else I need and just make shopping there way more pleasant.

Customer service and cleanliness of the store. I shop at this Target at least 2 times a week every time it’s consistent excellent service! From the employees in the aisles stocking merchandise always greeting me to the front supervisor. This target has the best customer service I have experienced in a long time from any business.

The staff at this location really makes the difference! I was helped by a young lady named Paola in the beauty and section, she was really helpful finding what I was looking for. She greeted us with a smile and a positive attitude!

I was at Express checkout check Lanes myself I did not know how to use the Target app to get 30% off of outerwear of hats gloves and I asked the lady if she could help me she scanned the hat and I showed her the where it says 30% off of hats and all that and she had said no that ones not on sale and I said it says hats and all outerwear I asked if I could see a manager so she could show me how to work the app she said no she didnt want to call the manager so she told me to go in line at customer service to help me out and sure enough it was on sale but the cashier should be able to have time to help a customer out or if she does not know how to work the app ask another employee just had left the store right now after standing back in line to purchase my item

I loved the prices of groceries. I loved getting a coupon for the lunch meat. I loved that it was displayed that I could get a coupon and I loved that the cashier walked me through the whole cartwheel app

Great staff ! They are always friendly and eager to help. Convenient location. The Cartwheel & Target apps for my phone are amazing and have saved me so much time & money! Although I wish the fruits & veggies were local, I think that is a an issue Corporate Target has to address. I am glad that this location finally added self-checkout lanes recently, but I wish they were a bit bigger. (IE- the automatic checkouts with the longer conveyor belts to accommodate large grocery trips.) Overall, it is my first go-to store for my family.

I had a hard time finding the toys I wanted. A wonderful store worker helped me locate what I wanted. She led me to the spot, the toy was not there, she made a call and someone brought it to me. I wish I had taken her name. I also had another problem and again, a store employee saw I needed help and solved my problem.

We shop here for groceries and will be looking for somewhere else to shop because since the remodel the inventory has decreased and the layout makes almost no sense, certain items arent where you would think theyd be and the prices are very inconsistent from the tag to the actual item. The remodel was not a good move and the reason we wont be grocery shopping there.

A nice young, professional, efficient and polite lady with a name tag of Paola, from the toiletries and/or cosmetic department assisted me last Sunday around 1:00-2:00 pm.Paola was soooo helpful and thoughtful. I was soooo sorry for her as she worked all on her own unloading a cart full of boxes and put them on the shelves for display with no assistance or team work from her associates who were just walking around the aisles and chatting to each other.Paola serves an excellent example of good customer service.

I’m giving 5 stars to Tucker at the meat/Deli department. I came in Friday 08/02 around 7:30pm, (parking lot and store was dead) I went straight to the deli area and no one was around, about 2 minutes later an employee passed by me, he saw me but said nothing, then 30 seconds later Tucker came and acknowledged me, (all I ask is for acknowledgment; I’ll be patient no problem, so thank you Tucker!) He started paging around but I guess couldn’t find anyone in that department so he took care of me and was very helpful and had a great attitude! (Other customers would have turned my 2 minute wait into 10 minutes, and 30 seconds into 5 minutes..bc that’s how customers are these days..trust me I deal with them too) Thanks Tucker for helping me out!

Wide selection versus other targets and usually clean. Checklanes are usually not much wait. Although one thing, guy with the potato head with black glasses in electronics refused to help meWith a ps4, also called me a simp. What?

I just moved and went there to mainly look for decorative items. They had many unique and well priced decorations to choose from. I like that they have a person to direct customers to the shortest check out stations. Like every store in the country, they dont hire enough cashiers but having that person, at least, speeds things up a bit.

An employee wouldn’t stop swearing by the frozen aisle I felt very uncomfortable and upset that he was swearing front of my little brother it was this old man with glasses and tattoos that was swearing at another employee. Never go to target in mundelein I rather go to woodmans instead of target they actually have their aisles filled!

This target likes to make their own rules regarding using coupons, the latest is that you can not use gift card offers and manufacture coupons. Its hard to keep up with their always changing rules. I use to spend hundreds at target using their red card, but I am done with them. I will be returning anything I can and will never shop at target again. Meijers is much better anyways, customer service is best. Jewel prices And sales are also getting better, target prices are increasing. I use to buy a loaf of bread at target at $2 now its $2.69 jewel is $2.10. I started shopping at target ever since they opened this location, but since I discovered meijers, Ive slowly stopped shopping as much, but after today with their made up rules Im done. Ive never had an issue using coupons with gift card offers at the Vernon hills location, managers act as if target isnt getting reimbursed. Like the money is coming out of their own pockets. Bye target,Ill be taking all the stuff I bought in the last couple of weeks back. Im done with your nonsense. If canceling my red card didnt affect my credit I would get rid of that too.
