Art Mart is a godsend. They have all the supplies art students may require and are always pricing things as fairly as they can. The staff members are incredibly kind and willing to help you every way possible. Id wish I could give them more stars! Also the shop cat is a fantastic bby.

Art Mart might be my favorite place in Muncie. The experience is SO much better than the big box stores because their employees are so willing to hear about your project and your exact needs, and explain differences you might otherwise not know the answers to. They’ve helped me with what paper I should use for certain materials, as well as helping me choose which paints will create the truest color blends. Plus they have seasonal sales! Good for students, definitely, but also for anyone wanting to try a new supply!

Everyone you encounter at Art Mart is incredibly knowledgeable, curious, and friendly. If you have any art questions, especially about what materials to purchase for your project, your questions will be answered and with your own interests at the center of their suggestions. I cant say how many times other bigger art supply stores will try to steer you into the more expensive option, but folks at Art Mart will help you find the best option. For anyone who is a serious artist or someone who wants to pick up a hobby or is looking to wrap up a project, Art Mart is the best place to go!

I have enjoyed getting my art supplies here the past four years. The individuals working are always willing to help out, even finding the small things! They are truly a blessing and it is a great store!

I absolutely love this place!! I get things here that I cant get anywhere else. Im rarely in Muncie anymore since I graduated from Ball State, but whenever I am in town I make sure to make a quick stop at Art Mart. The staff is also really helpful and friendly. The office cat is also a plus in my book. Its tiny and out of the way, but it always seems to have exactly what I need as a designer.

This is mostly an art shop for people who traditionally draw. Lots of pencils and charcoal. There are also many different types of paper pads and ink. Some calligraphy sets were available. If you are a local artist, please support this business

This is a great local store. They have a wide variety of high quality supplies, helpful and polite employees, and a great atmosphere. I have never had any problems with service and they work hard to get you the best deals they can. Their prices are higher than that of say, Hobby Lobby, but they are a local store and also are catering mainly to serious artists and the art students at Ball State. The wide variety of brands to choose from is also a big plus. All the employees are artists and love talking about art and are very open about their brand preferences. You will always get high quality supplies from Art Mart. I highly recommend it.

Today was my first of what will be many visits to Art Mart. The woman working there, Karen, was super nice and offered to order something we couldn’t find and Jabba the cat let me pet him so it was pretty much a perfect experience.

I recently went to the art mart, and found many types of pens, brushes, and calligraphy items. The staff was very friendly as was the cat. The prices are reasonable for the quality and what they have to offer. If you are doing an art project or just want to do something creative, I reccomend this place.

No inept retail droids here.In all seriousness, the Art Mart— while small in retail space— carries a solid selection of materials and gear professionals, students and amateurs will recognize and appreciate.I am an amateur calligrapher and experienced fountain pen fan. Until I discovered the Art Mart, I catalog ordered my gear from Amazon and a couple East Coast retailers. Theses folks have gone out of their way to cater to all my needs without failure and I love that I can walk in and buy what I seek in person... in Muncie !They are also Indiana’s only Noodler’s Ink dealer as of 2018, a welcome bonus.If you need quality ink, pens, fine writing supplies— and most importantly ADVICE— do yourself a favor and stop in.
